The gentleman on the phone listened to my problem and what I'd done, told me he COULD fix it, but didn't recommend my doing so, because the problem I was trying to address was endemic to the hardware version of the PlayStation itself, not the fix I was trying to do to get around it. He warned me that if he fixed it, I would very well be back again in the future, because it would still fail in the same way again. We talked through some options, and eventually I decided on buying a new PlayStation, which was his outright suggestion. His honesty and his unwillingness to take my money for a repair he knew wouldn't solve the issue in the long run guarantees that he's going to be my first call if I find myself in need of such services again.

Our refrigerator / freezer stopped working properly. The appliance was purchased from Spichers 11…read moreyears ago. Spichers had the invoice still in its system. A tech was sent to check the unit. It checked out okay, and I was only charged a service fee and I was not pressured into installing additional parts that may or may not have been needed or buy a new appliance. But, within a few days, the refrigerator / freezer was not working right again. Another tech was sent out and installed a new control panel, and I was charged only for the panel (no additional service fee). So far, the refrigerator / freezer is working as it should. Kenny, the Chief Service and Parts Officer, scheduled both calls efficiently and emailed me the dates and times for my approval. He gave me a 2-hour window for each call. On the days of service, I was notified of the exact time the techs would be arriving. Both techs (Bobby and Tyler) were courteous and knowledgeable, and respectful of my home. I called the office to receive copies of the invoices for both calls. Within minutes, Rebecca emailed the invoices to me.
