The RAID array was recognized in BIOS but continuing the boot into Windows -- no device recognition. I tried all the usual "fixes" including tech support inquiries with the HighPoint RocketRaid PCIe card manufacturer and Sans Disc, the RAID enclosure manufacturer. Nothing worked. I happened by Custom Computers while driving to Winchester on Route 11. From entering the shop I could tell these guys were REAL geeks without the big-store squad. After several hours spanning a few days: Issue resolved. The price for the fix: very modest. The friendliness of the staff: very good. I highly recommend them for issues small to complex.
