I have used this business 3 times to fix minor hardware relates computer issues and never had a…read moreproblem. This last time I took my same computer in, with what seemed to be hardware issues again. After 3 days I hadn't heard back, so I called to see what the issues were. He said he was still running a program to fix issues. I was told 2 days later I could pick my computer up and it was $150! (I was not provided an estimate.) I was not thrilled considering this computer is 5 years old, but I was happy it was "fixed". Got home plugged it in and it took 10 minutes just to start up. Everything from there was freezing. So I called the store and was told that I needed to delete my Adobe Creative Cloud programs all together to get the computer to work. The programs were working fine and I need them to run my business, but I did it and the computer still didn't work. The owner would not stand behind his work and did not offer to fix the computer any further. He told me that there was nothing he could do an hung up the phone. I took it upon myself to restore the computer to factory settings. It still does not work. Looks like a hardware issue that was never fixed. Would have much rather put the $150 towards a new computer than spend it on a paperweight,

This is ok if the part only cost a minimal amount, but when it 3 or 400 it makes a big difference. I am gracious for him giving back what he did. I just don't appreciate hidden costs.

I called Estes, Sam (owner) answered, listened, gave what he thought the problem might be but assured me that whatever the problem was he could repair it. He gave me a window of arrival time that afternoon saying that he would call me when he was on his way. He called, arrived, took a few minutes to check the refrigerator and gave me his diagnosis. It was a relatively simple problem which he repaired in about an hour. While he was working he explained why that problem happened and recommended that if it happens again within a few years we should consider replacing our refrigerator with another brand. He explained why he suggested not replacing our refrigerator with the same brand due to it's inherent design deficiencies. Sam was extremely efficient and when he gave me the bill I was very pleased with the fairness. I can't say enough positive things about Sam and Estes.
