They don't carry any extra parts on the delivery truck, so you have to be careful to order the exact parts you need to connect everything together. Not the joking "Linux is better" vibe I hear in tech, but more of a Mac supremacist "I don't want to deal with a PC" vibe. He and whoever he did the car salesman talk-to-my-manager trick with didn't witness the issue I had and assumed it was a software issue not covered by the protection plan, basically claiming, without any actual diagnostics, that Windows, then the Windows installs were all corrupted. Then tried to charge $100 for a future attempt to try to install Windows in another way, which my issue has prevented 5 times today doing it myself. Apparently, this type of "customer service" is not uncommon here. Don't go here if you need Windows for work or just prefer it. You'll be made to feel bad about it. They will also try to get out of letting you use your protection plan by calling it a software issue before any diagnostics are done.

I called the phone number and waited 20 plus minutes on hold to finally reach someone and they don't understand the best buy products. when I voice my frustration they offered me a $50 membership. Why would I pay for deplorable service? When you call the store you can't speak to anyone in the actual store. They tell you to just go in to the store. 0 ZERO STARS! Don't waste your money at high Best Buy to be treated unfairly. Walmart & target is better.

Verizon has switched to a $29 screen repair for unlimited occurrences. Not so with Best Buy. Still a very high deductible. Only one store here is authorized to repair Samsung phones (Monroeville) and they have only done one so far and it might take a week. Only slightly cheaper than other stores like this one at Century III which send you a replacement phone. Between the two options, it's something between 100 and 200. The phone still works so researched. Turns out Verizon has an awesome deal going as of July 11, 2022.I didn't believe it online so did the online chat with a rep. Turns out they have a trade-in program in which I can trade in my cracked screen Samsung s20 for a new s22 basic model worth 799 on my existing line with my existing unlimited plan for free. Didn't have to fix the screen first. Didn't have to be a new customer. Didn't have to add a new line.  Just paid a 35 upgrade charge.  I will pick it up at a store close to me tomorrrow or next day. I changed my protection plan back to verizon, as well. Regardless of this great deal, i could have gotten my screen reoaired for 29 dollars if i had remained with verizon's protection plan instead if best buy's plan. So... Not happy with Geek Squad cell phone protection plan and letting you know.

Apple in Shadyside really helped me out when I needed it. I ended up dropping my phone after work…read moreand completely breaking it. I could not even get into it because of the damage. The next day after work I went to the Shadyside location and I am so grateful I did. They helped me decide on purchasing a new phone and the whole process was very smooth. I ended up buying the Apple iPhone 17 Pro and trading in my old phone. The staff walked me through everything step by step and were very patient with all the questions I had. Inside, it looks like your typical Apple Store with a wide open layout, lots of devices and accessories on display, and plenty of employees available to help when needed. The store was busy but still well organized. Zach helped me out and he was fantastic. He explained all the updated features on my new phone, especially the camera, which I am really excited about. He made the whole experience easy and stress free. Overall I had a great experience and I am very thankful for the help I received. I definitely recommend making an appointment if you plan to visit.

AWFUL. I went in to get help with a synch issue and the "genius" clicked a few buttons and…read moredeclared all is good. However, he made it good by wiping out all of the unsynched items which are lost. And after an hour in the store and and an hour on the phone with support the solution is "we can't retrieve them so back up to time machine in the future." Don't I pay for iCloud back up to solve just this problem? Just crap. Service, support, process. Everything about this was awful. And I am an Apple fan. At least was.
