I've been going here for a little over a year, mostly to buy parts and accessories. The staff seems mostly interested in staying behind their counter. Their prices are definitely on the high side. We needed a new SAT dome, so I came in to buy a Winegard G2, which I had already researched. They had one left, up high on a shelf, but not priced. When I asked the price, the salesman quoted me retail list price. I mentioned that I could get if for hundreds less online or at Camping World. He asked me if I was a customer. I said "yes, the minute I come in the door I'm a customer, aren't I?" He said if I had bought my RV there I would get a better price for 90 days. OK. Besides feeling like my business doesn't matter, I honestly felt insulted. I bought the dome from PPL Motorhomes for $539, not the $740 they quoted, and I got free shipping. I won't bother them anymore, since my business isn't important to them, and I can get better prices elsewhere. Fine with me. read more

We bought a 2017 Montana Keystone brand new from Curtis Trailer in Beaverton OR 10 weeks ago. We have damaged furniture and a non-functioning satellite they sold to us and installed. We have contacted Curtis trailer multiple times in the past 10 weeks about these issues. They give us the run around , promise to make good on the damages. Here it is 10 weeks later , no replacements and this week we cant even get a return phone call. Between the cost of the trailer and upgrades we paid them a lot of money.. We obviously would NOT recommend Curtis trailer to anyone . read more

My wife and I went to buy a travel trailer last fall and found out that we couldn't tow it with our Jeep, they could've sold us the trailer and let us find out the hard way that our Jeep wouldn't tow it safely even though it was under that rated capacity. We traded the Jeep in and bought a Tundra and decided on a Lance Camper. We obtained better financing though Curtis than we could've received through our own credit union and got a better deal on the camper than any of their competitors could offer. After the purchase we had a defective part in the camper and then took it right in and had it fixed in less than an hour. Definitely happy with the purchase. read more

Great selection of parts and the parts department folks were very helpful even though I actually purchased less than a dollars worth of trim moulding, and they are open Sundays too. I like being able to wander around and look at the RV's for sale without being attacked by salesmen. read more

This review is specifically aimed at Curtis Trailer Beaverton Service dept. We had an apt scheduled today and when we showed up they tell us they have no record of our appointment and no notes of the issues we told them about. What!? We just dragged our trailer over an hour for warranty work. And no we didn't talk to the Portland store. We purchased our trailer new in Beaverton and we're positive that's who we called. The worst customer service I've ever experienced. We spent lots of money on our Brand New camper with Curtis and that's where the customer service seems to end with Curtis Trailer. We will be taking our business elsewhere in the future. If you still decide to buy your camper from Curtis just know that any warranty or service work after the purchase will be a nightmare. Just read all the other poor reviews and that should have you thinking twice about who you want to give your business to. You've been warned. read more

Wow;...Dreams do come true! My wife and I have always wanted a nice RV, so we went to the EXPO RV show and all dealers were there so it was so easy to compare. Highly recommend this, as we didn't actually expect to buy however how else could you see every dealer in one place? We toured the show and at the very end, close to closing time and after speaking with several grumpy, crass, greasy used car (used RV) salespeople...we wandered into the Curtis RV section and were delighted to have Dan Schneider (503-888-4544) help us! He was super nice, super informative and actually qualified us to find out what we needed! What a concept! We told him what type of vehicle we would tow with and Dan took us right to the PERFECT 28' trailer. They don't play games on price, and he told me the show price was the regular price. What's funny...is that our trailer had soo many more luxury features vs. all others we viewed AND it was a better price. Dan did throw in a 2nd battery....as he said we needed it and the sway tow bar too! That was cool. He even installed my 2nd 32" panel tv for free, I just paid for bracket. When we went there to pick up, it was a fun and flawless transaction. We received nice discounts on stuff we didn't know we needed for trailer...as we've never owned one before. They explained the good, better and best of what they had and why we may wish to consider...and gave us a discount on all we bought. I really couldn't think of how they could have done better? It was an awesome experience and I do feel that DAN specifically made us feel this way. Absolutely NO PRESSURE or anything weird. He showed us 100% of how to use everything and was always quick to answer when I called in with questions. He just gave us great service and a great value on the most fantastic Passport trailer. We took it out for our maiden voyage and we had soo much fun GLAMPING. So easy to tow and it was just like being at home...except the hiking trails are so much closer and I'm not used to HOT showers and DVD players camping. Our kids are older, so this was just what we needed to encourage our Teen's to hang out with us again. We are headed to the Grand Canyon this summer and I just can't wait to hit the road on our next adventure! Thank you Dan...you're the Man! :) read more

We bought a 2018 Keystone Cougar 5th wheel in October 2017. Our buying experience was great but we found out after about a year our sales person was no longer with Curtis. The service department has been a huge disappointment. When we have service needs we have no less than a 2 hour drive form the Oregon coast to Portland. We have had ongoing issues with our awning lights and the awning itself. The lights have never worked and have been repaired many times. The awning motor broke under warranty and was repaired but was never quite right. A short time after this servicing the bolts on one arm sheared off. Curtis service staff blamed us for misusing the awning. We had not. Our warranty had by then expired. When my husband questioned service staff about our extended coverage the responses were sarcastic and vague. My husband told them he wasn't happy with these answers and when he dropped the 5th wheel off he was greeted with "Here comes trouble". He gave them the keys and went out to unhook the trailer. A staff member followed him outside telling him "We're not going to start off this!" It seems to me that if we are unhappy Curits staff should be working to fix the problem and make us happy customers. Higher management has been unwilling to deal with our problems and out 5th wheel has been in the shop for weeks now. read more

And a 1 star is even giving them more credit than they deserve. If you are smart, don't even walk on their lot. They are rude and will insult your intelligence over and over. Looked at several fifth wheels and one specific unit was listed as a sale price which we were interested in. However, we couldn't come to an agreement on the difference using our current RV as a trade-in. The salesman actually said to us, " either you make money or we make money". What a stupid, arrogant, rude comment. So....we left and went to a dealer in Washington who was wonderful; however, couldn't find exactly what we wanted but will continue to watch their web site. When we got home we looked on the web again at the unit we were interested in at Curtis and the sale price increased by $4,000. What??????? What a joke. People need to stick together and protest this place! We will never go back and will tell all of our friends, family and people we don't even know about how Curtis Trailer sales does their business. read more

Services counter gave misinformation and confusion - said I needed to order the parts while warranty was being assessed (which was denied BTW), appeared to charge me for parts then didn't, then replaced only one of the parts when they were supposed to replaced both. Would NOT call me back on days they said they would with updates, had to continually hound them for updates and cost information. Took over 2 months to make the 4 hour repair and return trailer. Staff was friendly, but overall very disappointed and frustrated with the lack of follow-through and the length of time for repair. Will be looking for a different shop. read more

We purchased our Passport travel trailer in May and have been very disappointed with the workmanship. It is a 6 hr drive from our home to Curtis so very difficult to get them to address our issues with their appointment/drop off policy. The Inspection Policy/Report is a joke. Screws to support table were loose, under sink faucet fitting was loose so water was streaming through cabinet soaking carpet and dripping out bottom of trailer, outside handrail is loose at bottom and no way to tighten it, sawdust fell out of window ruffles, screws too short on sofa bed and it broke within 3 weeks, no sealing between shower wall and tub which will be invitation for mold/mildew, trim board at ceiling above Murphy bed detached, smoke alarm goes off within 10 minutes of baking, trim on Murphy bed support foot rail has 2 missing pieces, screws/bolts on tongue of trailer were loose, and not awning has slipped out of bar and support brackets on one end are bent. This is not due to anything on our part, and Spokane Keystone Service Department found this last serious issue and has ordered parts for replacement. It was suggested that perhaps the defect ie problem was from the very beginning or done at the dealerships when they attempted to repair the awning. We owned a Mallard trailer for 11 years but thought this layout with the Murphy bed would be a step up for us. Now we are dealing with poor workmanship throughout the Passport. We do like the flooring, LED lighting, and Murphy bed design, but miss the other features we had in the Mallard like grey water tank that allowed 3 showers (always short) before having to pull it to a dump station. No we catch all our dish water in pan and water the local vegetation and take outside showers so we can stay in our spot for 5-6 days. Not a happy camper at this time. read more

There should be negative stars. Seems that when we had Curtis Trailers replace the springs/shocks in our 5th wheel last year, they used the wrong/inadequate parts. After a total of only ~1500 miles on these springs, they are completely flat and are not only bouncing the crap out of the trailer...one of the new tires is worn down in the inside, and the wall of a cabinet above the flat springs is seriously bowed out from the impact. Also...When we brought it home after having the work done, we noticed that the bolts were almost touching the propane line. Unsafe even to drive it back to have them replace them with shorter bolts, so my husband spent hours cutting them down the night before we left for vacation. They offered to pay us $150 for the trouble. That could have been disastrous had we hit a pothole and the bolt hit the propane line. Now here we are at a service station on God-forsaken Needles, CA...in the 95 degree heat with 600 more miles to travel today, having to replace the shocks/springs again to prevent further damage and avert total failure. Oh...and this is to the tune of over $1500 (which is around what we paid Curtis before our last trip to do the work), not counting repairing the cabinet when we return home. Curtis Trailers...we will be seeing you in small claims court. Potential customers...run. Don't have them touch your RV! read more

This place was beyond awesome! My fiancé and I went in thinking we would just quickly look at old pop up trailers because that's all we could afford. Mike walked up to us and introduced himself. Now normally you think to yourself "shoot, another salesman". Nope, he was far from that. He didn't try and push anything onto us, he showed us everything in our price range and even walked us through the whole process. We grew with knowledge just from walking into their property! The company is amazing too! Just from how they treat their customers and their sales! They don't like selling trailers that have a high warranty rate! Well, we found four different trailers we liked and asked if he could print us off a price sheet. He did more then that! He sent us a personal video along with the layouts, pricing and photos of the inside. He was a very personable man and we shared stories. I loved hearing about his life story and he took the time to actually get to know us. I felt like we weren't just another customer! He is such a genuine guy and we can't wait to be doing business with Mike and the company! read more

The basics of my complaint is that they overbook, do slip shod repairs, disrespect your property, and grossly overcharge. I don't know if this is due to gross incompetence or business a model that borders on larceny. I purchased a new Coleman roof AC for my travel trailer and install it myself. I missed replacing the freeze sensor which means that the fan works but no voltage gets to the compressor.We dropped our trailer off on Aug. 23. I suspected that the problem that I had damaged the thermostat and told the service manager (Bill) so and I also wrote a note which I placed with the suspect thermostat. Although I had made the service appointment five weeks before we told that they would not have time to diagnose the problem till the following week. On Aug. 31 we were called and told that AC unit was missing a freeze sensor and that I needed to order it and ship it to them. That part was shipped to them Sept. 1. I called about 10 days later to check on the status of the part and was told by the manager that it had "not crossed his desk". Two days later they called and said the trailer was ready for pickup and that the bill was $586.85. The itemized bill stated that the wiring from the AC to the thermostat were "rewired" which involved tracing out where they all went. The thermostat had a blown fuse which was replaced and that a neutral wire was not connected on the control box. This work had required approximately 3.5 hours of labor plus $7.70 in parts and a $52.65 of unspecified shop supplies. When we arrived home we found that the furnace fan no longer turned on. I hired a neighbor who used to install low voltage systems. He quickly found that the thermostat was damaged and replaced it with a new one. The wire replacement had not occurred as it looked exactly as I remembered it. The Curtis repairmen had removed the heating unit I had installed in the roof air to attach the freeze sensor to the control box and had not replaced the heating unit. Total time it took my neighbor for the job was 30 min. I suspect that the tech. at Curtis Trailer had attached the damaged thermostat, found out the missing freeze sensor was the problem, replaced that and stopped. Only with gross incompetence or larceny does this take 3.5 hours. In addition, a cutting board had been knocked off a metal island cart which we found wedged under the trailer slide. When the slide was brought back in by the Curtis tech it damaged the leg of the cart. The refrigerator and freezer doors had been closed which means that they had to push back the plastic slides on the doors which are designed to keep them open when not in use. The results of this was an epic mold bloom which required me to spend several hours cleaning the inside of the unit and repainting the metal shelves.Before I posted this to Yelp, I sent it to the general manager at Curtis Trailers. His reponse was: I spoke with the tech today who worked on this job, when he first started on the job yes the neutral wire was not secured properly and like you we had no idea at first why the compressor wouldn't turn on. We ran a test on the compressor and realized it was operating but not without bypassing the system.The fuse had blown again in the thermostat and required another one to be installed. It was only after a long go to try and figure this out did we discover the freeze sensor was missing... this took some time.After receiving the sensor it was installed and the rest of the job was wrapped up and completed. The tech informed me that he tested the furnace through the thermostat and the fan did turn on so he shut it off directly after that.The refer door latches were never touched possible during transfer they closed themselves as they have before closed on my own personal trailer when I have had them in storage mode and traveled. Most businesses have a shop supply percentage rate from 10% -18 % that covers shop essentials I.E.: garbage, heat, power, ext. I apologize you feel we didn't complete this job to your satisfaction and that you had to replace the thermostat again. He went on to off to reinburse me for the new thermostat and refund the shop supply fee. His answer is BS. How do you bypass the system? There are only two ways that I can think of. You could climb up on the roof, take off the AC cover, and apply 120 volts directly compressor. That's just plain nuts. What they did do was expose the control box and short across the relay where the freeze sensor is supposed to be. How do you miss the fact that the freeze sensor was missing if you do that and then spend hours trying to figure out why the compressor will not turn on. As far as the refrigerator door closing when the latches were locked because they moved the trailer across their level parking lot??? Please stop insulting my intelligence. As far as his reimbursment offer, I have something called integrety, something Curtis Trailer sorely lacks. read more
