If I could give Curtis Trailers 0 stars I would, in fact negative stars would be better. If you want to get mislead, lied to, and succumb to the old bait-and-switch, then Curtis trailers is the place for you!! After purchasing our 1 year old trailer from them they called us 2 weeks later asking us to bring the trailer back because they didn't fix something that "should have been fixed before it ever left the lot" to quote one of their service technicians. After some discussion, they agreed to give us a $50 gas card and fix it in 1 day since we were coming from an hour and half away. Cue the BAIT-AND-SWITCH! When dropping the trailer off we also mentioned that one of the storage doors would not open (which had been that way since we bought it) and they said they would look at it. Please keep in mind we have not even had an opportunity to take our trailer out for a trip yet! Upon returning to the lot to pick up our trailer, we were told that we would no longer be receiving our $50 gas card because they fixed our trailer storage door "free of charge". They never asked us if we wanted them to fix it, and they never asked us or gave us the option to choose the $50 gas card rather than fixing the door. Upon looking at the paperwork I saw that to fix the door they had to add "screws and some lubricant". Absolutely astonished as to why screws and lubricant would cost $50 I went in and asked one of the technicians about it. I said we were told we would receive a $50 gas card, but only after returning to pick up our trailer were then told our storage door was fixed instead. I asked him how much it cost to fix the door, to which he responded "$147, that's our hourly rate, $147". SOOOOO, on top of being mislead into buying a trailer we had no idea had something wrong with it, we were then allowed to take it home and drive it (including driving it back up there upon their request) with an issue that they said should have never been allowed to leave the lot, but then they found a way to weasel their way out of giving us the $50 gas card they promised us to fix their mistake. On top of all of that I HIGHLY recommend nobody get their trailer serviced here if adding screws and lubricant takes their technicians AN HOUR! That's just scary! My dead grandfather could change screws and lubricant quicker than that! All that to say Curtis Trailers mislead us, lied to us, and tricked us into coming all the way back to Portland to fix their mistake to screw us one last time...no pun intended. read more

Outstanding Experience -- Absolutely Worth the 3-Hour Drive! We had an outstanding experience with Curtis Trailer in Beaverton, Oregon, and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for an RV dealership that genuinely values its customers. We came to Curtis Trailer looking to trade our K-Z Ridgeway for a Keystone Carbon Raptor 368 Toy Hauler after a frustrating experience with our previous RV dealer. From the beginning, the experience at Curtis Trailer was completely different. Josh in Sales was excellent to work with. He listened to what we needed, treated us fairly throughout the process, and made us feel that earning our business actually mattered. We received what we felt was a fair trade-in value for our Ridgeway along with competitive pricing on the new Keystone Carbon Raptor 368. There was no feeling that we had to fight through every step of the negotiation just to reach a reasonable deal. The Service team was equally impressive, including Sabrina, who provided excellent customer service and helped us throughout the process. We did experience a few hiccups involving the transfer of some of our parts and during the delivery process, but what stood out was how the Curtis Trailer team responded. No major purchase is guaranteed to go perfectly, and to us, great customer service is demonstrated by how a business handles issues when they arise. Curtis Trailer worked through them with us and made sure we were satisfied. That level of service made the three-hour drive from Washington to Oregon completely worthwhile. We have been so pleased with our experience that we have already referred friends to Curtis Trailer. That is probably the strongest recommendation we can give. When you are willing to send friends to a business and tell them it is worth driving out of state, you know the dealership earned your trust. From Josh in Sales to Sabrina and the Service team, we felt valued throughout the buying experience. We love our Keystone Carbon Raptor 368 and are extremely happy with our decision to purchase it from Curtis Trailer. If you are shopping for an RV and are considering making the drive to Beaverton, do it. Based on our experience, the fair pricing, reasonable trade value, and high level of customer service were absolutely worth the trip. Thank you, Josh, Sabrina, and the entire Curtis Trailer team for turning what had been a frustrating RV experience into such a positive one. You have earned both our future business and our referrals! read more

I'm giving the salesman a 5 star rating. Omar Valentine is the man!!! We purchased our new 2018 Sonic trailer at the Beaverton location 2 weeks ago and Omar was fantastic! Before we met Omar (whom I've known for many years), we had spoken to 3 other salesmen at Curtis Trailer and none of them were as knowledgeable and informative as Omar. He give us his honest opinion to every trailer we looked at and all the pros and cons. The biggest seller for choosing the Sonic trailer was that it was completely insulated! I thought "all" trailers were insulated. Well apparently I was mistaken and Omar pointed that out for us. Some insulated trailers are called the "Arctic package" and you must look for the sticker next to the front door of each trailer. If it doesn't say Artic package then it is most likely not insulated. The Sonic trailers come insulated and the roof is one complete sheet from front to back. That means no seems to weaken and possibly increase the chances for water leaks and Omar pointed that out to us. BIG BONUS!!! If I had purchased a trailer that wasn't insulated I would have been furious!!! And not one salesmen shared this info to us. Omar shared everything he knew about each trailer and helped us to look for things that should be important so that you don't buy something that you may regret later down the road. Omar is passionate about what he does and it shows! He called us every day with updates for what we were looking for and not just trying to get us to purchase any trailer. We have not had our trailer long enough to find out what the servicing experience is going to be like, and after reading some of the reviews about the service dept kinda makes me a little nervous for that part. Fingers crossed! Thank you Omar for being honest, informative, thorough, friendly, human, and making our shopping experience a pleasurable one, You have know idea how important that is to a consumer. There is nothing for frustrating as a customer is to know you have been mis-informed or lied too. It's people like Omar that makes me feel like there are still honest salesmen out there trying to do the right thing and that is making a happy customer. This man deserves a promotion! read more

In the late spring of 2020, we started looking for a little camper trailer. We soon came to realize that many folks were doing exactly the same RV thing! We were all seeking options for some travel and enjoyment while working around the obstacles of the pandemic. As our options began to become quite limited, we decided, at the end of June, to go to Curtis Trailer there in Beaverton, just to check things out. Although I was somewhat familiar with trailers, this would be our first purchase as a retiree. When we arrived, we were greeted by Bradley Lien. Although it was crazy busy there, he took the time to show us some options and offered support and guidance. After a couple of visits and a lot of head scratching, we settled on a trailer that we thought would work for us. We were about to close the deal, when Bradley showed us one more option that he thought would be a better fit for us. We looked at it, and although it was used, it was in excellent shape. After checking it out from "head to toe", we decided that it would definitely work better for our situation and bought it. We're so very thankful that Bradley took the time, and made the effort, to understand our wishes and worked to match us with a trailer. After the purchase, and again being crazy times, he and the team took the time to help us get set up and on the road. It's now been 6 months since we acquired the trailer and we've made several excursions with it. The trailer has worked out extremely well for us. And every time I "hitch up", I thank my lucky stars that Bradley guided us through that acquisition! I highly recommend Curtis Trailer for your RV needs. read more

I bought a Brinkley r/v from another dealer and had to get some warranty work done and took it to Curtis, Big mistake!! They told me they would bend me over because I did not buy it from them and they did! They said I would have to pay One hour for diagnosis of each Item and anything that they submitted to Brinkley that Brinkley would not cover. Brinkley covered everything Curtis submitted but they did not submit all the time and costs to Brinkley and then billed me an additional $1300+. They said it took 8 hours to change a shower door but only billed Brinkley for 5 and billed me for 3. Included in that bill was another $587 for replacing a gear on my slide which Brinkley covered but was not billed for all labor. Brinkley told me that they paid everything Curtis submitted and could not control how Curtis does business. Curtis does not itemize their bill and makes it very difficult to sort out but I had to pay it to get my R/v back. When I was forced to pay the bill I asked the shop Forman to submit all hours to Brinkley and he said he would and if they paid more they would reimburse me. Since then I talked to Brinkley and the had not heard anything from Curtis. STAY AWAY FROM CURTIS TRAILERS DON'T WALK RUN read more

Couple of great things happened here. I was given a quote on a repair for my old rv. I was then told if I put it on craigslist for a certain amount it would sell in 24 hours. (More than I thought it would go for)There was a bet on this and needless to say I lost..... I purchased a new 2018 trailor from them the next day. The sales person was very personable and friendly (almost like a family member) I later had an issue the the electrical hitch. Yup, under warranty... But the hitch was not rated well, so we talked about getting the new hitch and I would pay the difference for the "big dog" hitch which is rated much higher. Needless to say after waiting 2 weeks, showing up with my rv (during peak rving season) the part wasn't there. Little scambling, I admit I was not happy. In the end, they put on the Big dog hitch the same day, didnt charge me the difference and made me a very happy customer. Went camping the next day! Update to follow with names. read more

Over the years, we have bought two used trailers and more recently a motor home from Curtis Trailers, and Tim Cude. Each time it could not have been a better experience. This last time, there were a few issues and Tim made sure that they got fixed for us. Tim has been consistently friendly, helpful, and dedicated to ensuring that we were happy. He has always responded to my texts or calls within hours, if not minutes. When we noted that there were no outside levels on the motor home to help in leveling it correctly, he had them put on, no charge. I said I wanted to purchase a counter extension; he had that put on, no charge. We really appreciated and learned a lot from their free new owner classes. We couldn't be happier with every interaction we've had, with Tim and with the service department. read more

They had a Cedar Creek listed for a decent price with no disclosure that it would be a "diy" or "handyman special." The pictures they posted onsite did a good job of masking the damage to the unit. When I asked the salesman, Omar, why it was "on sale," he acted like he didn't know what that meant. Since I was an out of state buyer, I opted to get a third party inspection. So, $1300 later, I find out why they still have it on their lot. All told, there would have to be over $20,000 in repairs. They did get $250 out of me to just move the trailer to an inspection point on their lot so they could hook it up to water and power for the inspection. But they didn't leave enough room on the sides to open the slideouts. Moral being, not a very reputable and forthcoming place if you're an out of state buyer. read more

Our sales experience was easy when we purchased our toyhauler. But once the papers were signed...... They did a horrible job setting up the weight distribution hitch system. Then once we took it camping found several items that needed attention. Called and we scheduled an appointment to bring it to the Beaverton repair shop. Dropped it off August 12th. Here we are 3 weeks later and still no word on our trailer. Told them we wanted it for camping Labor Day Weekend. No word on the trailer yet nor its repairs. I called on Wednesday and left a voicemail. And still no call back on Friday. I want our trailer fixed and back. This is beyond ridiculous. If you can't look at it for 3 weeks, then don't have me bring it in so early. read more

We were challenged with total height of a trailer we could park in our shop. We shopped around quite a bit and ended up back at Curtis where Vaughn helped up find the perfect trailer. BUT...that is not the only story! While my husband and I were there picking up the trailer and getting our truck equipped to pull it, I received a frantic call from our 16 year old who was having a medical emergency. Not a 911 situation, but we needed to get home asap. Since our truck was being worked on it was not an immediate option. Without hesitation Vance gave me the keys to his brand new car and told me to go take care of my child! We are so thankful for his kindness and this act shows his true, genuine caring nature. read more

My husband and I purchased a trailer at Curtis on TV Hwy last week and boy were we pleased. First of all we were lucky enough to have an awesome salesman, Omar Valentine is wonderful.. You should definitely ask for him if you want friendly, fast and knowledgeable help. Never have we had a sales experience this good. Our trailer was delivered on time and their staff has been very helpful with all of our questions and financing was a breeze.. They definitely earned these 5 stars.. I Highly recommend them and would go back for sure. Thank you Omar and the staff at Curtis. Steve and Candy Morton read more

We were originally going in just to browse. We were lucky enough to have Brad as our salesman who really listened to what we wanted. After listening to us, he found exactly what we wanted! We are absolutely in love with our new trailer and the service we received from Brad. He kept us informed on everything and was the only person we had to deal with. It was very nice to not have to bounce between somebody for financing, sales person, Etc. I felt the interactions were genuine and that he cared about our purchase. I cannot recommend Curtis Tayler's and Brad Lien enough! read more

Steven is great. It was crazy busy on Friday afternoon today and he took time to help us troubleshoot an issue so we could try to safely get on the road. Very busy and very hot out but he was patient and thorough helping us to narrow down the problem. Also special thanks to Sabrina for going out of her way on a busy Friday afternoon to help some newbies. I don't leave reviews so this one counts triple. Curtis is lucky to have these two. read more

Angela was superb at meeting our needs. We went from exploring online to an actual purchase in 24 hours. She was so helpful and kind. We could not have asked for a better experience. My truck needed modifications and I was unable to get an appointment elsewhere for at least a month and she arranged their service department to accomplish it the next day. We drove it home that night. Thank you Curtis trailers and Angela. read more

I took my RV in for bearing work and the service dept said i had all this stuff that needed fixed. Nothing was broke till they touched my rv. So i paid to fix the stuff and i will never go back. The staff is extremely nice till you drop off your RV and they turn to being very rude. I will find another place to go. I hear they are VERY good at selling an RV to you but the sales and service are a different ballgame. read more

I would leave ZERO STARS if I could. They sent me on the road with a trailer missing more than half the hitch bolts and a gas line leak. After assuring me that the inspection was thorough. They refused to fix anything or even call me back. TERRIBLE AND UNETHICAL BUSINESS, STAY AWAY. read more

Carl from the store/parts was fantastic! All I needed was a bolt and he gave me amazing customer service. Also, I had called prior to my visit and was sent to voicemail. After leaving a message to call me back, they called me back quickly and answered all my questions. read more
