There is a whole row at the park that is all vintage .... about maybe 20 trailers. Some are small and some larger ones as well. They all have 2 cute bikes that come with the rental. The prices are similar to what you'd pay for a hotel room. Each trailer has different decors, colors, vibe. One with a hot tub to the side, you can get a small fire pit at one. One has a stand alone tub. The park is very nice and well kept. One side is vintage with permanent trailers , the other sideis to stay with your own trailer. It's along side the river and is a quick 5 minutes to town. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We arrived a bit early and they were ready and checked us in quickly. The trailer is clean and very comfortable. There are several wineries and tasting rooms in town. It's such a fun change from a hotel room. Come check them out. So fun!!

The Neutron Couples #2 has a mildew/mold smell and it's horrific. The wood around the soaking tub has absorbed spilled tub water. Possibly a health hazard with a lack of concern for this problem. Also mold/mildew in all window. Jamie (GM) told me they're fully aware because past guests have told them about the smell. It's to bad they won't fix the problem and or warn potential customers. Maybe they're waiting till someone gets really sick. 2. Porch light and deck step light out and I was told "yah they don't work". 3. The cost per night was not worth spending a night in a moldy unhealthy environment. 4. RV park smelled like sewer both morning and evening. 5. The tv went in and out but that was not the major problem in this unit.

To help explain my story I will state that my family travels for work around the Pacific Northwest without much notice for our next assignment. We pay month to month at most places and understand the need for deposits and our usual lack of retrieving them. This place charges a $250 deposit that they keep if a 30 day notice is not given before departure. That was understood when we signed the agreement. However, on top of keeping the deposit they also refused to prorate the remainder of our month's rent as a refund to us. We paid the full month and ended up having to leave 6 days into the month. They kept the deposit and full month payment. This place has a waiting list so the spot was filled that week with a new tenant. So now they are able to collect double rent on the site. In addition to their horrible customer service, this place has trashy trailers in the park with junk surrounding them. It attracts rodents and feral cats. On top of that there have been multiple instances where there have been drug deals going on in the park. Two weeks before we left the police blocked all exits to the park to raid a trailer where they proceeded to cavity search the suspect in the middle of the road. I could go on and on with instances we witnessed. On the vintages side of the park, I had family and friends stay on multiple occasions to visit us. My mother had a horrendous experience. When she went to pull the sheets back she found dead bug carcasses and an immense amount of animal fur wound in the mattress. In addition the mattress had fiber glass in it meaning that it was most likely an original mattress. Needless to say that it is unlawful for a business to have those types of mattresses. My mom asked for a nights refund (she was there five nights) because she had to help clean the trailer before she could sleep in it. The park was not going to offer her any compensation until she threatened to sue them over the mattress. In summation, stay with caution! Good chance you'll over pay, witness illegal dealings, or sleep in filth. But hey, they offer over priced wine in the store if you're into that! Cheers

I believe in supporting local independent businesses...but sometimes it bites you…read more Before reading this review, I want you to know that due to my job I can potentially be exposed to Covid-19 on a daily basis, and rather than thanking any chances of exposing my family, I have been living in our RV since March, including the night before we took it in the Sunset RV. Mind you we keep the RV under cover at home...and brought it in because of cracked vent covers that leaked and an electrical issued. When we arrived and met with the guy, we went over the issues and he wrote down what we wanted done. After we had covered everything, he said they would contact me in 3 day, I didn't hear from them, so I called and left a message on their voicemail. (we had over 2 inches of rain that night) and the next day I still had not received a callback, so I tried emailing them...still nothing. The following day I called again but didn't leave message since they didn't respond to the first one. They finally got back to me to say the electrical issue was taken care of and to ask if we want them to repair the vent cover? Seriously??? That was on our list...so I said YES and asked where our RV was being stored the last week since it had been raining so much...he didn't answer, just asked when we wanted to pick it up. I asked when it would be ready...he said he'd have to check and get back to me in the afternoon (Surprise...no call until the next day). When we arrived to pick it up, I was concerned to see it parked on the street (same spot we'd left it a week before)...AND that only ONE of the 5 vent covers had been replaced. When I went inside to check it out...OMG, there was water behind the bathroom sink (where they HAD replaced the vent cover) AND a puddle of water on the bed....as well as the bed soaked through to the mattress...the severity I didn't even realize until I got home and removed the bedding & mattress from the bed...and found the bed platform wood wet! Upon further inspection, I found that we now have mold around the windows which I know wasn't there the day we took it in because I took Christmas lights off the dining area windows that morning before we took it in. The veneer on the bedroom cabinets is peeling off and the entire RV smells, and I'm still not done checking everything out. When someone brings you an RV and tells you that it leaks, and you only have it for one week...during which there is torrential rains, and the RV LEAKS....you shouldn't act surprised. Why wouldn't you cover it or store it in a covered area if it leaks?? Why wouldn't you done a walk-thru BEFORE the customer comes to pick it up? Now I have to replace the mattress (less than 2 years old), spend hours cleaning the RV, most likely replace the veneer on the cabinetry in the bedroom, dry out everything and who all knows what else!!! My support of this local business is now going to cost me several hundred dollars IN ADDITION to still having to get all the other 4 Vent Covers. I will NEVER take my RV to Sunset RV again!!!!

The technician had thrown the rest of my original parts in the trash. Zero Accountability: I contacted general manager Tim Timmermann about the mistake, and he refused to compensate me for the valuable, lost components.If you ask for your original functioning parts back, make sure to write explicit, binding instructions to this service department. When switching drivers at dusk we noticed there were no lights working in the back. We had to pull over ASAP and stay as it was too dangerous to continue. The next day we got it fixed. Since we were 200 miles away it was impossible to return to Curtis for repair. When I called my sales contact she said she would look into it. That's the last I've heard from them. Since then repair cost us over $200 I expected Curtis to reach out with something but they haven't. This looks like a classic example of a "Sunset Guarantee". Needless to say, I can't recommend their service dept for anything as their QC doesn't seem to amount to much.

We absolutely love the private beach access--it's one of our favorite parts of the campground and makes for such a relaxing getaway. The staff is always incredibly friendly and welcoming, and both the booking process and check-in are quick and easy. The camp store is super convenient for grabbing anything you forgot or need during your stay. This year, we even hosted our nephew's birthday party here, and it was perfect! The park allows day visitors for just $8, giving them access to the entire park and private beach. It made it so easy for our family and friends to spend the day with us without having to camp overnight. One of our favorite things is watching the massive cargo ships pass by on the Columbia River. It's so cool to see them glide by from the beach--you don't realize just how enormous they are until they're right in front of you! The park is also incredibly dog-friendly, with plenty of space to walk, explore, and enjoy the outdoors. Between the berry picking, wildlife (they have resident giant geese, and we saw a ton of bats and a few deer!) and the beach, there's always something to do for both kids and adults. The only thing I'd suggest is a little more attention to the bathrooms. They weren't bad by any means, but they're small enough that a more frequent deep clean would go a long way. Knocking down the spider webs more regularly and keeping the hand soap stocked would make an already great campground even better. We'll definitely be back again next year. Reeder Beach has become one of our favorite summer traditions!

If you're out for a hike and then you come back and make dinner. It's barely even dark at 9:00. I wish the showers stayed open until 11:00. Also some of the camping spots have zero shade and or privacy. So while the facilities are clean and nice, do be selective on the spot you get. I would happily come here again with friends but not a place I would come to on my own as it feels very exposed.
