Really nice customer service. They don't over charge you on installation. They explain everything that they are going to do.

Looking for a place to stay in McMinville and found The Vintage Trailer Resort…read more They have purchased and updated several vintage trailers and they are so nice! There is a whole row at the park that is all vintage .... about maybe 20 trailers. Some are small and some larger ones as well. They all have 2 cute bikes that come with the rental. The prices are similar to what you'd pay for a hotel room. Each trailer has different decors, colors, vibe. One with a hot tub to the side, you can get a small fire pit at one. One has a stand alone tub. The park is very nice and well kept. One side is vintage with permanent trailers , the other sideis to stay with your own trailer. It's along side the river and is a quick 5 minutes to town. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We arrived a bit early and they were ready and checked us in quickly. The trailer is clean and very comfortable. There are several wineries and tasting rooms in town. It's such a fun change from a hotel room. Come check them out. So fun!!

The Vintage RV Resort Pros vs Cons…read morePros 1. Clean RV Park 2. Welcoming General Store and check in process 2. Creative idea to experience glamping. We looked forward to soaking in 3. There are beautiful vintage trailers to stay in. 4. You get a winery tasting discount passport that you can use while you're a guest at The Vintage but with check in at 4pm you barely have time to use it day of check in. Cons 1. The Neutron Couples #2 has a mildew/mold smell and it's horrific. The wood around the soaking tub has absorbed spilled tub water. Possibly a health hazard with a lack of concern for this problem. Also mold/mildew in all window. Jamie (GM) told me they're fully aware because past guests have told them about the smell. It's to bad they won't fix the problem and or warn potential customers. Maybe they're waiting till someone gets really sick. 2. Porch light and deck step light out and I was told "yah they don't work". 3. The cost per night was not worth spending a night in a moldy unhealthy environment. 4. RV park smelled like sewer both morning and evening. 5. The tv went in and out but that was not the major problem in this unit.

Normally I wouldn't waste my time reviewing a business that I'll never stay at again. However, I…read morefeel the need to shine a light on the facade this place portrays. To help explain my story I will state that my family travels for work around the Pacific Northwest without much notice for our next assignment. We pay month to month at most places and understand the need for deposits and our usual lack of retrieving them. This place charges a $250 deposit that they keep if a 30 day notice is not given before departure. That was understood when we signed the agreement. However, on top of keeping the deposit they also refused to prorate the remainder of our month's rent as a refund to us. We paid the full month and ended up having to leave 6 days into the month. They kept the deposit and full month payment. This place has a waiting list so the spot was filled that week with a new tenant. So now they are able to collect double rent on the site. In addition to their horrible customer service, this place has trashy trailers in the park with junk surrounding them. It attracts rodents and feral cats. On top of that there have been multiple instances where there have been drug deals going on in the park. Two weeks before we left the police blocked all exits to the park to raid a trailer where they proceeded to cavity search the suspect in the middle of the road. I could go on and on with instances we witnessed. On the vintages side of the park, I had family and friends stay on multiple occasions to visit us. My mother had a horrendous experience. When she went to pull the sheets back she found dead bug carcasses and an immense amount of animal fur wound in the mattress. In addition the mattress had fiber glass in it meaning that it was most likely an original mattress. Needless to say that it is unlawful for a business to have those types of mattresses. My mom asked for a nights refund (she was there five nights) because she had to help clean the trailer before she could sleep in it. The park was not going to offer her any compensation until she threatened to sue them over the mattress. In summation, stay with caution! Good chance you'll over pay, witness illegal dealings, or sleep in filth. But hey, they offer over priced wine in the store if you're into that! Cheers

This is the first time I've gotten a room, and I'm glad I did. Coming for lunch or dinner is great, but you really don't get the full experience at all. First things first, thank you to megan at the front desk, fantastic service, hope you love your sticker! All the bartenders and servers were incredibly genuine and real, and I appreciate that. You're not putting on an act, you're just at work. Chelsea, Sarah and Jacob at the courtyard: thank you specifically! Jacob, love the earrings! At the restaurant, had the Diablo chicken sandwich. It was not edible. One bite and I knew this can't be finished. Later on had the brownies for dessert during happy hour. That was great. Happy hour does not leave you THAT happy. Couple bucks off. Mixed drinks are fine. Staff is pleasant for the most part. Seattle frost really is PNW frost if you ask me. I also had breakfast there and had a granola and yogurt. Fine. Stayed in a king in the school wing. 101. No ghosts (perceived by me). It smelled like it though. It's an old building. It was mostly clean although there were food crumbs all around my desk. Gross. See pic. Room was huge with beautiful windows. Loved the headboard with the cow. Overall was quiet. Slept fine. I enjoyed the free coffee at the front desk using the coffee mug provided. Cool. The whole building is great. The kitschy art is fine. I much preferred the photographic history. Overall, just the smell and dirt and bad food made it challenging. I was glad to go nevertheless. Completing my passport!

The staff listened to what I needed and was able to fix the problem within 45 minutes, installing a new electric jack for my trailer. The pricing was more than fair. I recently camped here, and thought it was one of the best campgrounds I've camped at so far…read more Like most campgrounds in the area, this is primarily an RV campground, but they do have some space for tent campers, as well as a few first come first serve spots for cyclists and backpackers. I camped in one of the six tent spots, and it was really beautiful. It was heavily shaded, and basically right on the banks of the Columbia River. The park is popular for cyclists like myself because it is situated near the end of the Willamette Valley Bike Trail, a 135 mile scenic route. I rode like a few percent of it, and thought it was amazing. I will definitely be finishing that trail this year. The showers were free for registered campers, and were the closest thing to a real home shower I've experienced at any campground so far. I loved how the park was not too far from Portland, Salem, or the Columbia River Gorge. The park rangers were super helpful and informative. I had called with a bunch of questions after having a bad experience elsewhere, and a ranger reassured me they had "a tighter grip on things" at Champoeg, which seemed to be true. The only issue was that, around 3am, I woke up to what sounded like a rabid wolf. It literally sounded like I was for sure about to get eaten. I made a bunch of noise, but it didn't go away. I yelled to the other campers, "There's like, an angry dog outside my tent!?! This isn't anyone's dog, is it?" It turned out to be a raccoon with very labored breathing (along with two other raccoons who were breathing normally). I suspect maybe it had canine distemper. It was being aggressive towards me, specifically. I had to go sit in my car for a while till it left. I'm not sure whether this was because I had accidentally gotten sprayed by the agricultural fertilizer tractor on my way in, or because the camper next to me had left so much food out on her site (which she ended up putting away at 4am). There is a historic store in the park that sells blackberry sundaes that look amazing, but I wasn't able to make it in during their very limited spring hours (I think they closed at 2). Overall I loved everything except the raccoons and would absolutely camp here again.
