We went to Curtis on TV Hwy after searching for a SportTrek 272VRK and other models. We had been searching for our next trailer and this was a model we really liked, and Curtis had it in stock. We met with Josh Sharpe letting him know that we wanted to look at a few trailers they had. We viewed several trailers online and watched a lot of videos and now we wanted to get inside them. Our intension was not buying but looking. Josh was very understanding and accommodating. He hands down has a great personality and was willing to show us anything we wanted in hopes to earn our business when we are ready to take the next step. He was not pushy and no trickery, he was straight upfront with everything, answered our questions, traveled back and forth across their lot to help us out. We fell in love with the SportTrek 272VRK, this was it, this would be our next trailer. Hands down checked all the boxes, fit and finish was amazing. We did sit down with him, again no pressure at all. He asked if we were interested in our trade value and what kind of numbers. Initially we said no, then we decided let's take a look at it. Josh provided all the details for the overall cost and trade in values, and we were ready to leave. My wife and I had a side discussion and decided let's just pull the trigger, it is a year sooner than planned but the numbers really worked in our favor. We explained to Josh we had camping plans the following week 3 hours away, he felt that they could get the trailer ready in time for us to leave on time. Josh came in on his day off at 9am to walk through our trade and to do a walk-through of our new trailer. Everything went great the trailer was ready, did a full walk-through and we were ready to roll. Josh had a family breakfast date and insisted on staying we told him go, he stayed for as long as he could and set us up with a peer of his in case we had questions before leaving. We did have a technical glitch before leaving, the Curtis Service and Sales staff all rallied around to help us to resolve it. I won't go in details, but they were all amazing trying to get root caused and resolved. We finally thought let's let them take in the shop and deep dive on it. We left for home hoping to pick up the next day and head out on our trip. We got a call from the shop a while later, and they resolved the problem. It was not critical, so we felt good going back to pick it up. We picked up our trailer and headed out on our trip after stopping at home and packing all our stuff into it. For Josh for great customer service and continued follow up on our purchase. Go see him for your first or next RV and tell him the Farris' sent you. You will not be sorry. For the Service team for trying everything to resolve our problem and then solving it. These guys just did a great job period. Notified front desk we were interested in buying a trailer. Said someone would be out to help us. Few minutes later Bradley came out, looking at his phone asking if we're looking for something in particular. Told him the first one we'd like to see. Did the "ya look familiar stick" then proceeded to tell us he had "other customers just arrive and he's gonna pass us off". Pointed in a direction and that someone would be with us. We walk towards the trailers in question, behind a locked gate. Wait 20 minutes, finally we agreed that if this is how sales customer service is how bad it must be for other aspects of the company. After we started walking back and we were already almost to our truck someone else finally comes out. "Asks is there's something specific to look at?" DONE. What little communication I had with Bradley he clearly didn't pass along. So I responded with "we're leaving. We were interested but nobody came to help us" He then proceeds to try talking to my wife who is clearly trying to leave as well. Charging customer too much on services. They quoted me 8 hrs at 198 hr and tack on 300 more on parts. I buy online 1125 and Curtis charge 1599 for parts. They want 8 hrs to install and the online retailer recommended places to have it installed and they quoted me 2 hrs @ 158. Hmmmm, let me see.... There total bill with parts amounted to $3200.00. Funny, I can have it done for 1425.00 parts included in tualatin. Curtis, you lost my business for life. You over charge and that's not a good thing. I recently purchased a brand-new travel trailer from Curtis and I was highly disappointed with the experience. This dealership did not deliver on its promises, and the sales person involved was misleading and dishonest. Before delivery, I identified several items that required repair. I was assured by the sales person that the trailer would be fully inspected, tested all equipment's, and repaired the items identified prior to pick up. This did not happen. At delivery, only the exterior appeared cleaned with shiny tires, while the interior was not cleaned and poorly prepared. After further inspection at home, I found that equipment had not been tested, the TV was unsecured, light bulbs were burned out, and multiple other issues were present. Very disappointed!! I had to return the trailer twice for repairs due to poor workmanship and lack of attention to detail. Customer satisfaction is clearly not a priority. Prospective buyers should be cautious, don't get fooled by a nice friendly salesperson, get all their promises in writing, and thoroughly inspect before accepting delivery. I stopped in for help with my new brake controller and the parts dept team all tried to find what could be wrong but no luck , so they suggested I talk to service dept. And boy I'm glad i did! Nothing but positive buying experience at Curtis Trailers with our salesman Brian Wheeler! We did a ton of our own research so we could narrow down what we really wanted. The first time meeting Brian he was very nice and informative since we were first time buyers. We chit chatted as we perused the lot and he strategically took us to view several trailers on every budget level to see the differences that each one offered. We did not discuss budget or finance at all. He treated us fairly and listened to our wants, needs and must haves. Since we have 3 fur babies and no kids he guided our tour accordingly. He did not try to upsell or mislead us in any way. He was very informative and continued to keep us in the loop from deposit, ordering, waitlist, inventory and even let us know it was scheduled to arrive earlier than expected. Then surprisingly someone changed their mind and we got bumped up on the waitlist. Soooo our trailer has arrived early!! We are more than elated to start our travel adventures soon! We are super pleased thus far and look forward to doing our business with Curtis trailer for many years to come. We went to a bunch of different lots to view campers, drive many miles to see a variety of inventory and watched a bunch of YouTube videos on walk thru's to see the difference in trailers and what each one has to offer. If I could do a zero I would. Bought a $1300 5th wheel hitch today. We live over an hour away. Get it home and it's completely the wrong one. I guess that's what you get for trusting the loader and not opening the box. The clerk had tagged the wrong one. Total 216 miles and 7 hours wasted returning their screw up, and not a single offer of compensation. We will NOT be back!!! read more

I write a fair number of reviews and they are usually positive. Not this time. I could not be any more unhappy with Curtis Trailer and their service on my Winnebago travel van. In late December they tried to repair 2 van issues and charged me almost $800 for doing very little work. I called and asked for an adjustment of $344 after I had the work done the following week at Camping World in Wilsonville for under $200. In a return call, they refused my request for any adjustment. So did the supervisor I was referred to. In reading other reviews my opinion is that they bill you for any possible reason and do shoddy work. I WOULD NEVER USE THIS BUSINESS AGAIN. Amazing experience! I was experiencing an emergency need for some homeless ladies who lost their RV in an ice storm when, for 2 days, no water, no power, and falling tree branches destroyed there current RV. I called Curtis Trailers in Aloha Oregon. Darin Wirth was my sales person. Within a few minutes into our conversation, he suggested a good trailer, put it on hold for my inspection, and scheduled it to go into service for preparations. Two days later, I made it to the dealership, did the walk through, and completed the purchasing paperwork. I have never experienced such ease. Darin, help me find someone to deliver the trailer, and then I found someone to come for it. Throughout there were no complaints or attitudes that I was a bother, which I certainly was, and he followed through the entire process. I bothered him on his off days, and he kept me informed all the way through from need to texting me that the trailer was hooked up, out the door, and heading my way. These guys started billing me as soon as I parked my RV on the lot, and billed for every second of googling and brainstorming they did on how to fix my problem. When I got my bill for more time than I'd even been in town, it also had "Parts" billed when I didn't require any parts (they didn't end up finding a solution). To add insult to injury, they were not familiar with the usual mechanism that attaches a traditional camper to a truck... this is an RV service center isn't it? Took the trailer in to get a new power center installed to support the new lithium battery. It was installed, but when I got it home, it didn't work, the battery still did not charge. My furnace also no longer has electricity. I found after some research that there is a switch on the circuit board of the power center that enables lithium. They hadn't set that switch, meaning they never tested what they installed. I still have no idea why the heater doesn't work, but clearly they didn't test that either. Now have to find another place to fix it as I can't go back to the place that doesn't test things. read more

My family and I full time in our 5th wheel, and our stabilizer jack failing was the first major issue we had since starting this new lifestyle. We couldn't get on or off our truck easily or level our rig, so we needed it fixed quickly. We were in Cannon Beach, heading to Champoeg in a couple of days. I found Curtis on the website for the manufacturer of the leveling system, and gave them a call. Dan Hofer in parts and Bill O'Brien in service could not have made this potentially painful issue easier on my family. Dan worked hard to get me the special order part in on time, and Bill fit us in despite a very full schedule. He directed us to the Portland Children's Museum for a few hours, and when we came back everything was done. They even worked with my warranty company to have the majority of the work covered. We ordered a brand new Travel Trailer at Curtis in Beaverton for $60,000. When the trailer arrived we got a VM from our salesman saying our trailer was in and kept calling us by the wrong names. When we picked up the trailer our salesman kept calling us by the wrong name (even though we kept correcting him) and didn't have much time to go through it with us because he had other clients coming in. We were a bit frustrated with him as we needed help to figure out all the controls....luckily there was a service man out there working on another trailer and he went through it with us and was really great. Speed up to nine months later and we had a list of things that needed fixed and most was still under warranty. We called, made an appointment, and went over everything we needed done. One month later we were able to pick it up and only two things were fixed on the trailer. One was not collaborated so we will have to figure that out ourselves. They actually put on the receipt that they had done all this work when in fact they hadn't. Example: decal was coming off and we asked that they replace it for us. Well they charged the manufacturer for a replacement but it's the same decal. We will not go back. read more

We worked with Rob and had a great experience. We have bought two RVS new from Camping World and went in this time again but where not happy with their price, what they could do for us and the fact the salesman is calling multiple times a week still. So we decided to look elsewhere and more of a small business that is local. They had a huge selection considering Covid and other places didn't. The sale price was cheaper than the competitor. The salesman was not at all pushy and when we decided to do it he worked with us. We are happy with our experience, the selection they had and the product we got. We knew what we wanted and appreciated not being harassed to buy something we did not have interest in. Excellent service and product. So happy with our purchase, their store and the discount you get when purchasing from them day of pick up and one coupon for later. Highly satisfied and the staff is so great. read more

Would not honor manufacturer warranty because we bought the trailer elsewhere. Robin in service and the general manager Shawn both clarified (in writing) Curtis Trailer's policy that they will not take in warranty repairs right now unless the trailer was purchased through them. CAMPING WORLD has been fabulous to deal with and will honor our warranty there. We have purchased 2 trailers in the past at Curtis, but we will buy from and recommend CAMPING WORLD from here out. read more

I went to Curtis Trailers to look for a small first time trailer. I met with Brad Lien, he showed me a couple different trailers in my price range. I picked one out and put down a deposit. I was in contact with Brad and he made the process really easy for me. I went back to get the trailer and he walked me through every inch of the trailer step by step on what to do. He is so professional and he helped calm my nerves about driving it off the lot. The whole experience with everyone I came in contact with with was so nice!! The service department is the worst I've ever had, I was lied to and taken advantage of. This was the number one worst experience ever, asked for a estimate and was given a figure when the amount went hundreds more I protested, they could have talked to and I could have told them that I didn't have enough money to pay beyond the estimated amount Erick W. Left out a lot of other derogatory information maybe that's what was different from your crew. For I the satellite traveler antenna didn't work and had water in it. Winegard was able to work with me by honoring the warranty to the antenna fixed at no expense to me. The bottom line is that the antenna had to be removed and reinstalled correctly with new sealant. Lesson learnt I should have done it myself from the start. read more

We didn't have a very good experience with Curtis Trailers in Beaverton. One Saturday we decided to stop and look at some models we were interested in. We asked for someone in particular but we ended up with another guy. After looking at a couple models, he told us he was busy and only has time to show two trailers. We liked one model but just wasn't sure to buy it. He said we can put $100 down payment and then submit a loan application when we were ready. Five days later we submitted loan application online. One of the optional fields asked for amount owed on trade-in. We didnt know exactly the amount so we left the field blank. Next day I got a call. She didn't know someone had already took us around and she would send the paperwork to him. After a few days of not hearing anything, we contacted the guy and he said he hadnt done anything with the application because it was missing the amount we owe on trade-in. We gave amount to him. He said he would follow up with a call. After more time and not hearing back from this guy, I asked for someone else using the message feature on their website. I get the same guy to call us back and he says it's still processing. Another week goes by and he calls to ask if the monthly payment amount is ok. Why hasn't this guy worked our loan application? At this time its almost two weeks after submitting the application. We tell him the monthly payment is fine and we dont want to put down payment. Three days later the $100 was redeposited into my bank account, the trailer now shows available on the website and no idea why. I sent another message online asking why did that happen and I got a response back (not from him) saying it will be looked into and the rep will contact me. Here it is...Two weeks later and no follow up. I give up. You win. I'll go somewhere else. read more

To begin with, I had had a very bad, awful actually, experience at another RV company in the Tacoma area. (Never go to Poulsbo RV!) I had gone there because a friend, now former friend, worked there. They were a bunch of dishonest, thieving snakes. So, when I decided to go to Curtis Trailers, I was already jaded and on edge thinking I was just going to get the same B.S. from them, as in "all RV dealerships and sales people are snakes". I could not have been more wrong. As luck would have it I dealt with a salesman named Tim Cude, not once, but twice. I think I kinda bit Tim's head off verbally and unintentionally when we first met because I just didn't trust that I would be treated fairly. Tim was simply awesome to work with. I purchase a rather large travel trailer. Tim walked me through the entire sale with respect and consideration. I told him from the outset that I wasn't interested in any up-selling, service or extended warranties. He respected that and that was the end of the discussion. The reason that I ended up working with Tim twice is that I figured out pretty quickly that the travel trailer I had purchased was way to large for my needs. I decided to take it back and placed it on consignment and purchased a much smaller trailer that I am much more happy with. Again, Tim walked me through the sale. Then, he took me out to the trailer and showed me how EVERYTHING worked...and I mean EVERYTHING! He was very thorough and answered all of my questions. Tim is the kind of person who exudes trust and confidence. He has a personality that makes you want to talk to him and just enjoy his company. I have dealt with Curtis Trailers sales, parts, service and the yard personnel. Everyone was kind, considerate and more than willing to help with anything. I highly recommend Curtis Trailers and most specifically, I recommend Tim Cude. If you go there even just to look, ask for Tim. You will be happy you did. As for the negative reviews I see here, sometimes there are people that just can't be satisfied with anything. Considering my entire and repeated experience as Curtis Trailers, I doubt there is much validity to those reviews. read more

We found the trailer we were looking for. We were looking for slightly used. We just happened to find the model we wanted only 2 years old. When we first looked at it we were told it would be "detailed" prior to purchasing it. The purchase process was simple and smooth. When we picked up the trailer it had not been "detailed". Actually had not even been cleaned. We have spent several weeks cleaning. Had to hire professional carpet cleaners. It was disgusting what they pulled out of the carpet. There was a piece missing on the closing hinge of the bathroom door. The low point drain cap was missing. The bathroom was disgusting. We were very disappointed. We had them install an Andersen Hitch. The release handle they installed popped off shearing both bolts on our first drive. Probably won't ever go back. read more

An exciting venture turned out to be a very disappointing interaction with Curtis Trailers in Beaverton. First of all, the service they had committed to doing when we picked up our trailer was not complete when we arrived. We were talked into finishing the sale and complete the transaction without the work being completed. We brought our trailer home since we had a camping trip planned and trusted them to follow through with the parts and service they committed to at a later date. Bad on us for trusting them! They then said they would order our additional parts and let us know when they were in. Unfortunately, they didn't follow through with what they said they would do and only gave us part of our order. The response we got was, "Sorry. The transaction is finished. We only made $100 off of you." I was a little surprised to hear that. I figured the manager, Dan Schneider, would be able to make things right given a sales person does not have the authority to fix something wrong like this. He didn't talk to us and told the sales person that the transaction was final and there was nothing more they would do. I will never refer anyone to Curtis Trailers! read more

Sloppy customer service. Disorganized priorities on repair project management. The work on our trailer took longer than expected and yet they saved our car for last to be worked on so we had no vehicle for an un-necessary extended period of time. (An intelligent person would have gotten the car back first.) Can't get a hold of anyone. Their excuse is that they're "short handed". They will take NO responsibility for issues that come up and make it very clear that it is somehow the customer's fault. read more

Although they will quote you an attractive price, they will absolutely low ball you on any trade or pile on fees and extras if you pay cash. Their sales manager (Jim) is a piece of work. I recently purchased a Cougar 29RKS 1/2 ton. I used the Beaverton store and Angela was my sales person. Really good, no pressure experience. We set an appointment to look at 5 RVs. Angela showed us all of them and we liked the29RKS. I was surprised how many little things needed to be adjusted on the rig at pickup. The on demand hot water did not work in kitchen due to flow restrictor in the faucet. Some windows needed lubricating. Floor had a bubble in it. I had a gooseneck hitch installed and that went well except the ball was a little low and this caused the latch for the front hatch to be broken off by the truck on the way home. The GM was quick to send me a latch and ball that was 1" taller. Service was quick to schedule an appointment for the floor and fixed it in a day. I had service install vent domes, 2 200 watt dollar panels and 2 more LiPo batteries. all of this went smoothly. The trailer sits in my yard on Solar, running two refrigerator. I haven't needed to plug in at all. Overall I liked the experience, but think Curtis could improve their quality control. I received a very good trade in on a five year old rig. read more

This is a review that has taken several years to write. We bought our first trailer (new Passport) in 2013. It was a decent trailer in a good price point. It started to show wear in the frame and instead of repairing the frame we traded the Passport in for a used Outback 2012 with three slides. We have had numerous leaks with this trailer. Often enough that we now plan for a leak when we go out for a trip. We lost much of the end of 2016 due to repairs and delays. Our new roof was guaranteed to not leak, as Bob Woodward the service manager told us that, "Curtis knows how to put on a roof" Well, we've still had issues with leaks, current problem was a poor install of brackets on the roof vent cover. (See photos). Leaking water almost ruined our weekend again but felt was able to fix the leak on our own, found a couple of more potential leaks in the process and am finally writing this review. If you take your trailer in for service, expect; unreasonable delays in repairs, unclear expectations on the repairs and shoddy workmanship that needs to be double checked. We really like the sales person Vaughn N, but sales is the easy part, it is the service after the sale that earns our continued business. read more

I am severly dissapointed in Curtis Trailers, I bought a 2017 Aerolite trailer. I discovered the outdoor Kitchen door and frame on outside of trailer was broken. I took it back 3 months later asked them to fix all the issues, mostly outdoor kitchen, they had it for a month by appointment and warranty and said it was fixed. WRONG!! I took it to Central Oregon for vacation and to help with my ill mother, discovered it was not fixed. Called them and manufacturer, who told me to take it to Big Country RV. They fixed the outdoor kitchen arm shock, did not address the bent door or screws put in crooked. Also still under warrantee they also did not fix the metal shavings from the slide. I do not trust them either! Now I've taken it to Curtis Trailers after the snow melt. Extended Warranty mind you and they refuse to fix it still. They never fixed it in the first plagce!! I am going to have to seek legal counsel to get any monies back. Don't buy anything from them without a knowledgable person to inspect every crack and craney.. General Manager still would not acknowledge that they had it and didn't fix it the first time. He couldn't even keep his story straight on what needed to be done. read more

Wow were do I start. Let see 2016 we bought a BRAND NEW 2016 CLIPPER travel trailer from Curtis Trailers. On the day we went to pick it up it was pouring down rain and noticed that a window was leaking. So we told Vaughn about the leak before we even hooked it up to take it home. Vaughn told the parts department and the came out and pulled the entire window out and put this ugly black tar looking stuff around the window and put it back in. Now fast forward 3 years. We only used the trailer once in 3 years. We noticed the floor was starting to get soft. So we called Curtis Trailers and told them the problem. Their reply is have you brought it in for check ups? And I said Why in the hell would we take a trailer in for check ups when we only used it once. You could not see the damage or it leaking because the water is running between the wall and under the lanolium So they said pretty much no check ups no fix. Have been to this location several times for parts for my travel trailer. And they've had parts that another poupular RV store in Wilsonville (my area) have not had on a couple occasions. Good knowledge and friendly help when I've needed it in the parts department. Anytime I've looked through the lot at trailers, the salesmen are around but not pushing. Introduce themselves and letting you know that they're around. This will be one of the first places that I'll go to look at RVs when I'm ready to buy again. read more

1 star for the service department, especially Nic. I took my trailer in here to get three things fixed. They gave me an estimate for $600, and when I arrived there they tried to charge me $900. I tried to protest and this is what I got - treated with disrespect and acted as if I was asking too much to expect I would pay the price quoted. To add on to the headache, one of the three items wasn't fixed and they had charged me for it (and I still have not received a refund). I was truly boggled and perplexed at how terrible their customer service and service department is. Nic was my service Manager and he was awful to work with - didn't return my calls, talked over me and raised his voice when I asked questions. The sales department and the store aren't so bad, but the service was atrocious. Don't take your trailer to this place - they are not to be trusted read more
