2 lunch specials...

Stopped with my wife and we both got the Lunch Specials... cam back the next day for dinner. I great spot, flavor is excellent, I hope to eat here a couple more time before we leave. 5 stars...

a half eaten plate of food

Words can't describe the feeling you get after eating at this establishment. I have probably been here over 20 times this year alone, and notably have never had a single complaint. The food is seasoned with spices that should be in a damn museum. Not only is the food incredible, but it comes out within 10 minutes max. The workers are amazing, and will give recommendations. After my most recent visit, as I thought curry and kebab couldn't satisfy anymore, my favorite song started playing. It was a religious experience, and I will forever return.

two plates of indian food

This used to be my go too spot when I sold beer up in Boulder like 6 years ago. Sadly I don't often find myself in boulder anymore so when my husband suggested meeting me for lunch here last week it was a no brainer. The food here really is phenomenal! Menu is small which allows them to really perfect the options they offer. Great value as you get a ton of naan, a lot of rice, a huge portion of whatever you select and a crispy onion app. They also recently just started allowing you to choose two options which is even better. I love getting a meat and veggie so this was perfection. I really love Curry n Kebab and should make a point of driving up to boulder more often so I can keep supporting them. If anyone is worth it they are!

I gave Curry n Kebob a 4 star review before but I have to say, after having the lunch special here again ($11), I have to bump it up to 5 stars. Is it the most amazing Indian food you'll have? No. But for the price, I'd be surprised if one can find a better deal. Just a tip for spicy food lovers, the hot spice level here did not strike me as spicy at all. Very hot is the way to go!

Chana Masala special.

Stopped in while visiting family in Boulder. Great menu with plenty of vegetarian options and the staff are very knowledgeable on what is vegetarian and what is vegan. We split a bunch of dishes to include Chana Masala, bindi masala and some tofu saag. All were outstanding with the few we ordered hot arriving with a good amount of heat, perfect. Great depth of flavor. The naan was well above average and our specials arrived with some samplers of dahl and some sweet cut up pineapple. Plenty of food, we ordered apps but it wasn't necessary. I do wish I could have had a beer with dinner but they don't serve.

Food is pretty decent. Service wasn't good and the vibe to the place is very bland. If you need a quick lunch it's average.

Motomaki - Hawaiian Salmon Poke Bowl, sub bacon for crispy eggplant

When you first walk in, there are two kiosks where you can place your order and you may walk up to the cash register and order with a live person. We chose to order at the register and the employee was very friendly and explained the whole Motomaki process, which we appreciated. The process on how-it-works is located on the wall, but we both prefer in-person customer service. We ordered three rolls and one fountain drink for a total of $57 with tax.... I thought that was high for what we got. The service was fast and the ingredients were fresh. I'm glad I got the sauce on the side. My husband didn't care for the rolls because he said the seaweed was too fishy and he described them as "seaweed burritos". The rolls fell apart after we took off the aluminum foil. Also, just an FYI: three rolls were too many and we both would have been fine with one each but now we know for next time. Overall, I thought the food tasted good, the service was great, the price was high, and we would opt for bowls next time.

I appreciate the options for greens, white rice, brown rice, or a combo for the base. I loved the crispy eggplant, especially dipped in the jalapeño aioli. The salmon poke was cut and flavored well. The toppings tasted fresh and added a great texture to the bowl. I loved the addition of asparagus, which I don't often see in poke bowls. The happy hour $3 off from 2-5 p.m. is a great deal and brought my filling bowl down to $15.75. My order wasn't accurate -- I had to go up to the counter to ask for missing items that I had paid to add (edamame and a side of jalapeño aioli), but I was given them without a fuss. Everything was delicious and portion sizes were generous. I'd love to come back next time I'm in the area.

We have since ordered take out, but I probably wouldn't do that again. It's not packaged in a way that maintains the quality as much and the salads are packaged inside the hot meals instead of separately, so we didn't really get to eat that. However, their food, especially the kabobs of all meats, are delicious. Their hummus is top tier! They are also extremely friendly, with a very clean environment inside.

Lately, when I get hungry I tend to think of this cuisine. As if to say that I was led to it by some invisible force, like a magnet, I made a u turn to get on the east bound lane to rush to it. A small restaurant but on the outside, I sensed some authenticity. After taking a few photos of its exterior, I stepped inside with high anticipation. On Yelp, it's got a solid 4-star rating left by the past diners/takeouters. Sounds promising. A young lady upfront said a quick hi followed by a question "For here or to-go?" to which I said "to-go. The menu has a good selection of both small (appetizer) plates to entrees. Their menus are somewhat fancy booklet style. Depending on the item, there are some accompanying photos of them. I wanted at least a few items so I went with 1) Fava Beans ($9 from the Appetizer section) and 2) Vegetarian Lovers Combo ($17 from the Entree section.) And for the next 45 min (from Boulder to Denver) on a beautiful mid Sunday afternoon, I had go through a very agonizing time smelling the mouthwatering smell of the two dishes while I was fighting the traffic jam caused by an accident on 36. Once I was home though, I wasted no time to savor the two dishes. And this is how my early dinner went: 1) Fava Beans - this dish could utilize more seasoning. It's a little bland or I should say boring. On the positive note, it does taste clean and healthy. I do like simple in many cases where I abhor something that's oversalted. That said, this dish pass my taste test. At the same time, it's definitely not something I highly recommend. 2) Vegetarian Lovers Combo - I can comfortably say that this is a solid dish. There are two falafels that are triangular shaped (never seen them shaped like that). Both baba ghonouj and hummus are in the top two compartments portioned generously. In the main compartment, house salad, rice and tabbouleh are beautifully and carefully placed. One large pita bread that was cut in half was in a piece of foil separately so it wouldn't get soggy. Oh let's not forget, there was one grape leaf on top of the tabbouleh which I saved it for the last. When I finally ate it, I realized that this is/was the star item of the whole combo plate. I've eaten super oily grape leaves that are too soggy in oils but this was perfectly moist and yet not oily. Small and yet it was dense inside. Wish the plate came with two of them. A little suggestion I would like to make to the restaurant (so I hope the restaurant owner read this!!) These two dishes lasted for three meal occasions until dinner time next day. The value for the total price of $23 (before tax) is pretty hard to beat in this high inflation time especially in a city like Boulder. To me, this is a solid 4-star experience.
