This place is awesome. I've liked every visit and each time great meals. Weather it's dinning in or take out, it's been always been good. I get their mild and it's pretty hot to me. But an enjoyable hot. Flavors are always there. No complaints. The staff is always super nice and their services are great. The place isn't small but not huge either. Nice atmosphere and clean.

I'm a little bit confused how best to rate this place - is it 3 or 4 stars? Because, their portion sizes are unbelievably tiny -- and it's worse when compared to the higher-than-average prices they're charging. But the flavors of the food are amazing. The alu tikki was particularly note worthy. I hope management will take notice of this feedback. You can charge a bit extra if you're delivering quality, but you can't disappoint customers by serving just two bites per appetizer. I also think their takeout order was a lot smaller than their dine-in portions. That is even more disappointing because you don't realize it until you're home how little food they gave. We paid about $30 for 3 appetizers but it wasn't even enough for 2 people to share as a satisfying pre-dinner round. Add: I'm even more disappointed with the business owner's response. You can look on their website and the Gobi Manchurian is $9.99 - it was 6 quarter-sized pieces, Paneer Pakoda is $6.99 and was two bite-sized pieces, and the Alu Tikki is $4.99 and I've shared the photo. They have 21 appetizers on their menu - only 6 of them are $5 or below. I wish the response wasn't so defensive and sarcastic - I had hoped to give them another try but likely won't at this point.

I've been here quite a few times now and always had a good experience! The service has been efficient and friendly each time I've come. I've yet to see them half full regardless of when I've gone, so I wouldn't expect a wait. Their menu is quite big, usually for an Indian/nepalese place I would lean towards the Nepalese food, since it tends to be their specialty. However I've found their strength to be more in the Indian and Indo-Chinese dishes. The chili chicken in particular is one of my go tos. I've always enjoyed the Nepalese dishes when I've tried them, but the serving sizes are quite a bit smaller and come at a higher price. I'd probably recommend looking elsewhere if you want Nepalese specifically. Overall, very solid spot with good portions and reasonable prices if you're looking for a south Asian spot in the area

First time here based on a friend's recommendation. Restaurant was clean. , staff very attentive and professional. I went with the chicken curry. Was very good. Came with basmati rice. I had the medium curry, it was quite spicy! Overall a good experience. Would recommend.

I first went to Yelp and look at the reviews of Curry Kitchen before ordering UberEATS delivery. I saw there were highly reviews so i thought, I will give it a try! I had order for my family the Chicken Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken Butter,, Veggie samosas, pani puri, and naan. There was a deal on UberEATS for buy one get one free for Butter chicken, pani puri, and naan which I thought wow, I've never seen this offer at an Indian restaurant before. Was excited that I didn't have to cook for the rest of the week to enjoy the food but.... when I tried the chicken tikka masala and butter chicken it was oddly sweet and severely bland. The sauce was super watery and you can't taste any of the traditional indian spices. It was lacking spices which is very old for Indian food because the cuisine is known for its spices and bold flavors. Chicken in both dish was super dry and tough like the chicken was over cooked to the point of no return. The basmati rice as ok. The veggie samosas were seasoned but it was an ok samosa not the best one I ever had. The samosas paired with their two sauce was ok. The sauces once again was super watery. The pani puri was crispy and packed well but the potatoes mixture was very bland and under seasoned. It needed more spices. The water sauce was ok and one note with a little heat. The naan was super chewy and tough. It was rough to eat. We did not enjoy any of the dishes we ordered. Overall with the food quality, cookery, and lacking in seasonings, I sadly can't recommend this place base on my take out order experience.

Chicken Tikka Masala and Garlic Naan

SO GOOD. It's been a while since I've had some good chicken tikka masala + on a random rainy day, I had a craving for it. Many places in the area with scary reviews so I just went with this place + very grateful I did. I asked for my chicken tikka masala to be spicy + they delivered! the garlic naan was so moist and flavorful. I enjoyed my meal so much that I order biryani then next day! The biryani wasn't spectacular like the chicken tikka masala but I still enjoyed it. Great portion sizes. They advertise cooking classes! I am inclined to attend ones after eating here.

A hidden gem located towards the back near the Cinemark theaters. We got to try a few dishes here and all have been delicious. The food always comes out fresh, hot, and flavorful. They have a big selection of various items but my go-to is their selection of curries (eg. chicken korma). The chili naan is my favorite and pairs well with the curry. I also love their complimentary appetizer with the trio of sauces. Mango lassi is also superb and a perfect pairing with your meal. Happy to support a local business and the service have been friendly and attentive so far. Definitely my go-to local Indian spot for now.

The restaurant is very clean. The service is ok. I was at the front door for about 10 mins before I just seated myself. A staff member walked by and never said anything, so I just seat down myself. I had the Chicken Chana Masala. It was ok. Not enough flavor that I am use to at other places, but it was still good.

Fining halal momos is always a blessing so I was really happy to visit this place. We tried the veg and chicken steamed momos as well as the chili momos and all of them were juicy, packed with flavor and exceptional. Garlic naan was basic and fine but the disappointment was the hot and sour soup my sister ordered. It didn't taste like the usual indo chinese spicy tangy concoction with crunchy noodle bits on top, instead it was mouth burning spicy and when we requested if something could be done since it wasn't edible they said no it's meant to be that spicy...? It was spicier than what we even get in india! Service was also quite slow but other than that everything was fine, parking was easy to find and space looked clean.

Cute restaurant with simple decoration. Food speak volumes for itself. Soooo good!

Is the tikka masala SPICY? If not, can I make it spicy?

Tikka masala is not typically spicy but you can order any dish at the spice level of your choice.

Is your naan made from scratch and in a real tandoor? I haven't found any restaurant in Austin with good naan.

Yes ,our Naan is real from scratch. Thanks

I tried the Ulavacharu soup--absolutely delicious. It's main ingredient is horse gram, which apparently is in the legume family. It wasn't like any soup I've had before, so description is a bit tough. It was fairly spicy to start with, but less so as I kept eating it. The only things I could identify was ground up horse gram, some sweet onions, and some thinly shaved ginger, but it had a lot of complexity. Highly recommend that and the rose milk (especially if you need some relief from the spiciness when you start out.) I had a little bit of my friend's butter chicken sauce, and that was excellent too. More heavily tomato-based than I'm used to, but a lot of depth of flavor. I'd happily order that in the future. I can't wait to come back and try their buffet when my diet restrictions are over :) Service was great. I asked if a few of the menu items have coconut in them since I'm allergic, and our server double checked with the kitchen for me and was very nice about it. Really pretty dining room as well. The location isn't as central as I'd like, but that does make it easy to find parking in the lot. Definitely recommend!

The food is absolutely delicious and very very fresh!!! I have a pretty good heat/spice tolerance and I found it highly spiced and fragrant. You might ask for light spice if you're more delicate. We had two lunch boxes, one veg and one not, to sample more offerings, I cannot recommend it highly enough. What magic they do to that cauliflower. Crisp outter coaster without being heavily battered, and tender delicious, perfectly cooked inner. The dal was flavored magnificently. Often it's a sad pile of peas. Not here. The buttered naan that came along was thin and chewy and crisp at the same time and we had enough to take home. The chicken was tender and highly spiced. The potatoes perfectly soft yet managed to not fall apart. Fresh samosas were shatteringly crisp with a fluffy tasty potato filling. The portions are huge even by Texas standards. The value is enormous the prices more than reasonable. This tiny place needs to be high on locals radar I can't wait to go back. This place is going on my rotation

It's a shame too, especially because the food is decent. Packed with flavor, aromatic, and satisfying. The beverages (when you get them) are okay, and the pitcher of lukewarm water will not be poured for you because nothing says "fine dining" like inattentive waitstaff. If you're expecting a "fine dining" experience in a strip mall, set your expectations to somewhere between a marginally reputable fast food chain and eating a can of whole chicken cracked open with a rock, spear, and sprinkled with a dash of hard luck. Mmmmm.... classy! Oh! Customer service doesn't matter to you? Then you'll loooove this place. No interest in the waitstaff actually taking your order in a timely fashion? This is the spot for you. Overpriced meals served in piecemeal to a 3 top, appetizers served well after one entre is nearly finished while the other two meals are still likely being staged? Is that to your liking? Get yourself to Mama Bros where your time and money will be flushed down the toilet! Oh, but wait... The best part of your experience will be the menu. Wow! How incredibly inefficient and confusing it is! Don't let the QR code fool you into thinking your menu will make sense; just ride that long scroll to the very bottom where you can order takeout meals and then scroll all the way back up to somewhere over the rainbow. What a journey! So, yeah, that's what you're in for. How can this place improve? Maybe try shutting down permanently and trying again elsewhere. That would be a strong start.
