    Burrito

Here is a National chain that I wish would make it's way to my hometown. This is a great Mexican/ Indian fusion build your own burrito concept. Much better than Chipotle, Qdoba, etc My burrito had farro, chicken, curried chick peas, with a nice tikka sauce and fresh veggie toppings. Was very happy with this selection.

I was a little disappointed by Currito. I went in expecting food with tons of flavor, but instead I got a bowl with little to no flavor. It was actually pretty bland. It could have been the type of bowl I got, so I'll give this spot another try down the line. Service was pretty quick. Lots of people come to grab lunch here. Ingredients are fresh and they make the bowls in front of you chipotle style.

Love this place always fresh, giant portions great flavor never disappointed, brought my kids here they have never been here both of them loved it best creamy lime dipping sauce.

Wifey had been wanting to try this place for a while and we needed a quick bite. The best way to describe it Chipotle-esque, but with international sauces. We got the Indian one and the Thai one in small burritos (yes, they come in three sizes instead of the Chipotle Food-coma one). Besides the regular drink fountain, they also have unsweetened black tea and honeyed green tea. I had about 5 cups of the green because it was delicious. I am not a big fan of Thai flavors, but both burritos turned out quite tasty. The chips were a tad weird, but the mango salsa was great.

I finally checked Currito off my "to-go" list at lunch today. It was great and I will definitely be back soon. They have many premade options to pick from. I got the Bangkok express and it was delicious. The prices were fair, the food was ready quickly, and the food was fresh and delicious. A great lunch spot.

My bowl is bigger than yours, guaranteed

The space is open, bright and well decorated making it very inviting for brunch. You order at the counter from the menus placed along the wall then food is delivered to your table. The various brunch items all sounded very inviting so I was having trouble deciding what to order. So I got a recommendation to try the Shakshuka. Not sure how to pronounce it but when it arrived it was just the right portion and quite tasty for brunch. It's a bowl with a red pepper sauce and feta cheese and kale along with eggs sunny side up. The dish is served with pita so you can do a little bit of dipping in the tasty sauce. To accompany our food we selected the mimosa service and bloody mary pitcher. A pitcher is just perfect for sharing. And the mimosa service was delightful. The server arrived with a bottle of Prosecco and small carafes of orange, grapefruit and blood orange juices to mix yourself. The food was fresh and tasty with prompt delivery of our food to our table. Not quite a full service restaurant since you have to order at the counter but still a nice experience located downtown.

Being visitor from VA Beach, I asked what's the recommended dish, the server suggested omelette. But I wasn't in the mood for omelette so I saw shakshuka. I tried their Green Goddess version that has spinach (instead of tomato sauce) and feta. The food is a solid 3. I also ordered the Dubai Chocolate latte. It was a 3 as you taste more the milk than the chocolate syrup. I also got their chocolate chip banana bread.

Wow! What a way to spend our 1 year wedding anniversary! I loved this place…read more It has been a few months since eating here but I still find myself thinking about it. Our next trip to Cincinnati; It will be extremely difficult to stay away from here. We spent the day in Newport and around Cincinnati and wanted somewhere nice for the occasion. I was iffy on this place at first... you can throw a rock all over America and hit a place with 'Barrel' in the name these days. The Yelp reviews swing both ways here but I'm here to tell you my take... because it swings so far towards the 5 stars that it's very much a 6 or 7 star place(maybe more). We gauged our arrival time based on other activities that day. We wanted ample time at the nearby Lego exhibit so when we arrived there, we made a reservation for 4:30-5. Eating early and making our way back to Louisville was a great idea. The entire time we were there, no one else came in so we had the entire place to ourselves(It was a Friday). The atmosphere is homey but during busy times, I could see it being noisy. The booths could easily fit 6 people comfortably... probably 8 in some cases depending on how wide some of you are. Special Note: This place highlights The Parrillada Experience for Two on their menu and we wanted it! We didn't order it because at a price tag of 130-and pictures online, we didn't want it to be a failed outing. After our first trip, The Parrillada Exp will be on the agenda next time. It's a mixture of different steaks, sausages, shrimp, sides, and salads. Definitely worth the cost. On to the food: Sausage App - Argentine Chorizo. Farmhouse Sausage. Grilled Ciabatta. Hearts of Palm. Green/Red chimichurri. Pepper Relish. I don't like ordering this type of dish when I go places because you never know if it's going to be delicious or very bad. It ended up being super delicious. We couldn't make up our mind which sauce we liked the best and which meat we liked the best. App PERFECTION! Land and Sea - This is what my wife went with. Asada Skirt Steak. Jumbo Shrimp. Asparagus. Red chimichurri butter. I had bites of the shrimp and it was good. I had to save room for my dish. Wagyu Denver Cut - I went back and forth. Lobster ravioli being on the menu almost made my decision instant but I was going back and forth between ravioli, steak, and a few other things. I asked the server which he recommended of the 4 Chef's cuts. He recommended two... one of which was the Wagyu so I went with it. I wasn't disappointed AT ALL. He mentioned that the Wagyu Denver Cut was a new addition to the menu... I'm not sure but you could definitely tell it was cooked, arranged, and presented with care. I savored every angle of every bite. We also ordered a side of brussels because of course! Originally we were going to dessert somewhere else but went ahead and ordered the Hazelnut Vanilla Creme Brulee here. Perfect ending to the meal. This brulee was light and had the right amount of crunch. It was also larger than expected. We had no complaints with this place. Easily one of the better restaurants I've had in Cincinnati. If you're doubting visiting this place, take the dive! Other notes: They have beer and a small cocktail variety but they primarily seem focused on wine(plenty of options to choose from).

My family shared a lot of our entrees, I feel their poultry and seafood are their best. The pork chop though tender, wasn't incredibly tasty. I have not tried a beef dish. The dessert was delicious! The good first, though: Whatever the flaws in its business model, Green District still turns out well-conceptualized salads that always seem fresh and tasty. The Hide & Go Greek is a very nice chicken one with a robust, terrific dressing. The Thai One On salad is (you guessed it) an Asian-influenced one with shrimp, lots of cabbage and cilantro, and a kind of generic but fresh-tasting Asian-style ginger-heavy dressing. Also very good. Fortunate thing you can order online and don't have to verbalize those unwieldy salad names to a fellow human. (But if you think those names are bad, another one wants you to hold its beer: the Tequila Mockingbird.). Anyway, the food gets this to three stars, but only barely. Alas, the service at this location is a shambles. Count on at least a 35-minute wait, even if you order right after 11am, when things presumably ought not to be backed up. And it looks like chaos back there--just not enough employees back there, most likely. Last time it took this restaurant an incomprehensible 50 minutes to get my salad out. (Who with a regular lunch "hour" downtown has time for this?) Credit to the unflappable and put-upon young fella at the end of the line; he kept doing his job steadily and kept cheerful about it. The manager is always madly rushing about and isn't nearly as cheery (but it almost certainly isn't her fault, either). It astonishing that the food can be is good as it is in this environment. There's something very wrong about this restaurant's business model when the family-run lunch spot down the street (seemingly just as many orders) can crank out your to-go salad (as good as here, for the most part) in three to five minutes and be as friendly as they can be about it. Whoever came up with the plan has some major issues to resolve.
