It's a small stall within a larger kitchen concept (lots of various restaurants) in Costa Mesa. Owners were very friendly and accommodating. We ordered 3 rolls but they ended up hooking us up with another one and all of their sauces so we can try it all out. The sauce was a bit bland for me-I like my sauces a bit bold in flavour. As for the rolls-they were fresh ingredients and nicely pack. I liked their beef the best. Also, they gave us a peach drink on the house, which reminded me of the one I usually get at Phuc Long tea house-it was refreshing on a hot day. Order at their kiosk directly located at their "kitchen" because you can earn a discount; if you order at the screen by the door when you enter, there's no option for discount.

"Cuốn" in Vietnamese means "roll," often referring to fresh spring rolls. Cuốn is a Vietnamese restaurant located in Costa Mesa. They serve Vietnamese Fresh Rolls, noodles salads and coffee: These fresh Vietnamese spring rolls are make with shrimp, vegetables, herbs, and rice noodles wrapped in rice paper. They also come with tofu, chicken, beef, fish and shrimp. Vietnamese spring rolls are traditionally served with nước fish sauce, but they are also super flavorful with hoisin sauce. Currently they are running a promotion for 20 percent off on spring rolls and salad bowls on order over $10. ‼Use code: 20OFF. July Special: salted Vietnamese coffee $5.

I visited Cuon on a Thursday early evening. Parking in the designated lot was very limited, so I opted for nearby street parking instead. It's one of the ghost kitchens, so there was a wide selection of different cuisines to choose from. There wasn't much seating inside--just two benches near the front. I ordered a chicken spring roll & a shrimp spring roll, while my friends grabbed food from some of the other restaurant options. I'd love to visit again to try more of the restaurants in the kitchen.

This is located in a Costa Mesa shared kitchen complex. Ordering online for pick up is super easy. I ordered the fish salad bowl and a chicken plate for my husband. I really love that there are such healthy options at this Vietnamese spot. The fish was juicy and tender and paired well with the tangy fish sauce. We also ordered 4 spring rolls and they were SUPER HUGE and stuffed to the brim. My favorite was the beef spring rolls (the beef is marinated in yummy sweet/umami flavoring). They come with yummy peanut sauce.

Wow! Who knew I'd be able to find authentic Vietnamese style fresh summer rolls, a popular Vietnamese appetizer featuring a filling of protein (like pork and shrimp), vegetables (such as lettuce, carrots, and bean sprouts), and rice vermicelli noodles, all wrapped neatly in a thin rice paper wrapper, in Costa Mesa of all places! The fresh version of the more familiar crunchy spring roll, or gỏi cuốn, which it is commonly called, is served cold and is a light appetizer before you enjoy your main entree. When I scanned my app for delivery options, this new eatery popped up on my radar. Located in the pick up and go Costa Mesa Kitchens building, this new addition was a pleasant surprise to all the other usual suspects in the dining plaza. When the order arrived, I was very pleased with the clean, neat and attractive packaging. Everything was very well organized, presented and the summer rolls were impressively huge! My mouth was watering just gazing down at them nestled In nicely in their cozy little boxes. I ordered beef shrimp and fish respectively. Omg they were all so good, I honestly recommend all of them! The fish was flaky and fresh, the beef was tender and flavorful and the shrimp was plump and juicy. The accompanying sauces were fantastic, as well! I recommend going with their recommended pairings as they paired beautifully with the rolls. I highly recommend them to anyone having a hankering for fresh, handheld rolls to enjoy in this hot summer heat. So satisfying and soooooo good! Happy Eats!

3 piece spring rolls - 2 shrimp and 1 chicken. I got it with hoisin and their fish sauce. The chicken spring rolls has avocado in it. Very nice touch. The shrimp spring rolls are grilled it seems. Very good. I'm not a big fan of mayo but the guy recommended it with the chicken spring rolls. I thought the fish sauce with the chili that's included tasted better in my opinion with the chicken. They also gave a side of pickled daikon & carrots. Pretty good size and filling. Very refreshing I would say. Service was self order but there was someone who was there to help me answer questions. It's one of those kitchens you go in and order to-go only, no dine-in available. But I will definitely come back! It was good!

Was in the area and yelped a good spring roll place and boy did I hit the jackpot! This place, you can't even find it from the street. No signs! I was about to give up and found a very packed parking lot on the corner where it was supposed to be and I thought to myself, it's gotta be epic! There is a food kitchen with about 6 different kitchens, no place to sit down it's strictly take out with a specific takeout counter for all of them! It's all done cleverly with notifications via text. It's so genius. I parked and went in, they have kiosks. They helped me order, I got the pick 4 and ended up with tofu, shrimp, chicken and fish. I asked for a peanut sauce they made it special for me! All were fantastic made fresh, I love old school so loved the shrimp. There is avocado in the chicken roll as well as the fish, it's good for you, but am going to stick with shrimp! I absolutely love the food, the kitchen concept and can't wait to go back! I got a lemon iced tea (Arnold Palmer) so delicious very sweet! They even took the time to write me a note! Well done thanks guys!

I didn't get a chance to take a photo of the rolls because they were gone within seconds! The rolls were soo good, fresh and packed with quality ingredients. I'm so happy they are so close to me! The coffee is sooo delicious it doesn't have any after taste like most Vietnamese coffees. I'll definitely be returning here!

TLDR: Fresh, Flavorful, and Full of Love! I visited Cuon on their grand opening day. Located at Costa Mesa Kitchens, this spot specializes in Vietnamese spring rolls and salad bowls. I was craving for something light but satisfying and let me tell you, they've absolutely mastered the art of fresh, healthy food that doesn't sacrifice an ounce of flavor. The spring rolls are packed with crisp veggies, fragrant herbs, and perfectly seasoned proteins -- the Chickie Roll, and the Rolling with the Soy Roll (aka fluffy but fried-to-perfection tofu) are my go-to favorites! Each roll is made fresh to order, tightly wrapped, and served with a variety of sauces that explode your taste buds -- I swear I can have the Chili Tomato sauce as a drink for breakfast, lunch & dinner. Their salad bowls are equally incredible -- vibrant, crunchy, and drizzled with same incredible sauce. Everything tastes clean, nourishing, and honestly, kind of addictive in the best way. The staff is friendly and clearly take pride in what they do. Whether you're grabbing a quick lunch or picking up something post-workout, or ordering to-go to enjoy at your own leisure at home, this place hits the mark for healthy comfort Vietnamese food. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to eat well without compromising on taste!

Box of 3 The Beef me up Bowl The Shrimpossible Bowl

Best place to get your springroll fix for sure. Fish and beef are must try!!! Make sure to ask for sauce recommendation to pair with your rolls. Bowls are really good option too if you want something heavier. I tried the beef and the shrimp bowl. Both are satisfying and flavorful. If you can do "Nuoc Mam", it will elevate your taste bud. P/s: dont forget the peach iced tea to wash it down.

This was a solid weeknight takeout spot in the Costa Mesa kitchens. The protein tasted good, the mint gave it a nice touch, and the noodles made it filling, and best of all, the kids were happy with it.

Even though this place is pricey I happily supported it because it stood for something. Now that it's no longer vegan, it feels like a completely different place. Seeing venison, eggs, and raw dairy on the menu was honestly jarring. That shift isn't small, it changes the entire atmosphere and comfort level for me. Cross-contact becomes a concern, and I no longer feel at ease dining here. The branding around these new additions being described as "ethical" is the most frustrating part. They try to explain how their meet and eggs can be "ethical" but they don't even bother to try to explain how their raw dairy is "ethical." Probably because is no logical argument. Their pride and excitement about these "ethical" addictions feels entirely disconnected from the community that originally supported this space. I'm genuinely disappointed.

It took a minute to locate the restaurant and figure out parking, but once we arrived at the door, the experience was first-class from beginning to end. The hostess was charming and welcoming, the staff kept our waters filled and the table spotless, and our server, Juan, was outstanding. His knowledge of the menu, detailed descriptions, and personal recommendations made ordering easy and built our anticipation for every dish. We started by sharing the beet salad and Chicken Tinga Empanadas with the Gringo Killer Sauce. The beet salad was fresh and beautifully balanced, while the empanadas were packed with rich, savory flavor. The Gringo Killer Sauce added a bold kick that made them especially memorable. My wife ordered the wedge salad, my daughter chose the Grilled Octopus Al Pastor, and I had the 8 oz Picanha special. Every dish was exceptional. The octopus was a creative and flavorful take on al pastor, and the Picanha special was perfectly cooked, tender and was an absolute standout. Everything was so impressive that I sent my compliments to the chef and was fortunate enough to meet Chef Jackie personally. Then came dessert. Juan described a peach cobbler special that immediately had my mouth watering, while my daughter ordered the Espresso Crème Brûlée. Juan returned to our table with three plates and spoons and informed me that Chef Jackie has recommended her specialty. I did not argue, Chef knows best. She surprised me by sending out something different: a slice of Baklava Cheesecake accompanied by a scoop of house-made peach cobbler ice cream. Now, I have eaten some outstanding cheesecakes all around the world, but this Baklava Cheesecake was on an entirely different level. It was rich, layered, perfectly textured and flaky, and so unbelievably delicious that I nearly licked the plate clean. The house-made peach cobbler ice cream was equally impressive--light and creamy, yet captured the full peach cobbler flavor. The Espresso Crème Brûlée was also beautifully executed, with a crisp caramelized sugar shell and a deep, smooth coffee-flavored custard. My daughter ate half of hers before turning her attention to the cheesecake, and she does not even like cheesecake. That alone should tell you how special it was. I live three hours away, but I will absolutely be making the drive back. Lemon & Thyme delivers exceptional food, thoughtful hospitality, creative dishes, and the kind of personal service that turns a meal into a lasting memory. This is my new favorite restaurant!!! Do yourself a favor and make the trip to Lemon & Thyme. Ask for Juan, trust Chef Jackie, and do not leave without desert.
