The old tub was sitting on an 8 foot high deck that had a 3 and a half foot iron railing that the tub had to be lifted over. And then lowered onto their trailer. They went over and above the call of duty and didn't damage our deck or landscaping. This was a very hard job and was done in 92 muggy degrees. Their prices are great and their service is 5 star. They communicated with us e Rey step of the way. This was a complex installation because due to a narrow yard and a driveway with limited access. Major electrical work had to be done in order to meet code. Their electrician is the best you could ask for. Working to pull permits in our City isn't simple either but it all worked out and we were in our new pool before Labor Day. If there were any negatives, it was the extra costs for stone, concrete, etc. Even though we were informed up front, we just kept writing checks. Also, the concrete company cleaned the truck's chute out after each pour. This left large chunks of concrete all over the yard. Usually the contractor is responsible for the subcontractors work but apparently not in this case. It was a very labor intensive cleanup from that alone. If you're thinking about a pool I highly recommend Caribbean.

I was at their mercy and told them to install the new filter. then came time to close the pool, they sent a couple of guys who literally knew little about pools, they didn't use the pillow that we were sold said we didn't need it. we opened our pool this week , green. I am thinking they didn't even use closing chemicals, I am praying that the center drain line was properly blown out. if they were apologetic or polite one thing the woman is down right nasty. she doesn't take complaints well, so convenience is no substitute for professionalism. This company does work without your consent, and will charge you!…read more I am disappointed to leave this pool company after 2 years because they went ahead, and did work outside of my agreed upon contract of a pool opening. At no point in time did they contact me to do "additional work". Therefore, be very careful. They replaced a piece that did not need to be replaced on top of my filter, tossed to the side. Not once letting us know. Not once hearing from us to agree on them touching anything outside of an opening. What's more disturbing is now the piece that was replaced I am not sure can go back. Thus, forcing me to now shut off my pool filter and now not using my pool until this company resolves this blatant issue of unauthorized work and possible damage to what they replaced as irreplaceable now. Make sure you find a pool company that values their customers consent on all work done on your property. Especially because I was not even home for this lack of consumer respect. I would ALSO like to point out that the items replaced were there last year and the year before that. and NO ONE DID OUTSIDE REPAIRS UNTIL NOW. I WAS TOLD LAST YEAR AND THE YEAR BEFORE THAT EVERYTHING WAS FINE.

This is my third year in my house, and the third year I was dreading taking care of my pool. Last…read moreyear was bad, constantly cloudy, a money pit. I decided to throw in the towel and find a pool maintenance company for this season. After calling a lot of companies, I found the no one wanted my business as much as A Sunny Day Pool did. His prices were reasonable and cheaper than others, so it was an easy choice. I had him open my pool ($175) and return to vacuum it. His rate for cleaning is $50 an hour. It has taken me hours of unsuccessful vacuuming in the past to even remotely get my pool looking good. My pool cover fell in a little over the winter so there was a lot of leaves in the bottom. He brought out his own equipment and got the pool sparkling clean in exactly 1 hour. I am not kidding when I say that is the best $50 I have ever spent. It is two weeks later and my pool is still sparkling clean. I have him scheduled to come again this week and do a clean up before a party. Hiring this company for my pool was a great decision. It is just one man, but he is reliable, professional, and gets the job done perfect and quick. I would 100% recommend him to anyone in the Colonie area looking for pool maintenance. I will continue to use him through the summer and the rest of my years owning a pool.
