They communicated with us e Rey step of the way. This was a complex installation because due to a narrow yard and a driveway with limited access. Major electrical work had to be done in order to meet code. Their electrician is the best you could ask for. Working to pull permits in our City isn't simple either but it all worked out and we were in our new pool before Labor Day. If there were any negatives, it was the extra costs for stone, concrete, etc. Even though we were informed up front, we just kept writing checks. Also, the concrete company cleaned the truck's chute out after each pour. This left large chunks of concrete all over the yard. Usually the contractor is responsible for the subcontractors work but apparently not in this case. It was a very labor intensive cleanup from that alone. If you're thinking about a pool I highly recommend Caribbean.

Their expertise and professionalism is always present. I was actually really annoyed at Joey's review. Let me see if I understand this: He was in a jam and no one else could help him (TWICE!!). Yet, Concord Pools said they could help and he complains about the price? I'm going to guess that the great company he mentioned that he now frequents was too busy to help him out of a jam but is happy to sell him chemicals and let him cry on their shoulder? The pool was "disgusting" (his words), and yet he expected it to be crystal clear in under a week??? he didn't know it was disgusting prior to it becoming urgent? I don't know how bad it actually was but I know how long it takes to get my own pool, clean when it's full of leaves. Secondly, I learned the hard way that a pool with problem water will use up chlorine rapidly. I'm terrible at taking care of my water and Concord always helps me out. I don't like paying for it either but they always give me good advice and don't oversell me stuff I don't need so, in the end, I know I saved money over going to the "cheaper" guy.

At no point in time did they contact me to do "additional work". Therefore, be very careful. They replaced a piece that did not need to be replaced on top of my filter, tossed to the side. Not once letting us know. Not once hearing from us to agree on them touching anything outside of an opening. What's more disturbing is now the piece that was replaced I am not sure can go back. Thus, forcing me to now shut off my pool filter and now not using my pool until this company resolves this blatant issue of unauthorized work and possible damage to what they replaced as irreplaceable now. Make sure you find a pool company that values their customers consent on all work done on your property. Especially because I was not even home for this lack of consumer respect. I would ALSO like to point out that the items replaced were there last year and the year before that. and NO ONE DID OUTSIDE REPAIRS UNTIL NOW. I WAS TOLD LAST YEAR AND THE YEAR BEFORE THAT EVERYTHING WAS FINE.

Come out and say it's now the motherboard. Replaced that, it glitched, came on and back off. Now saying it's the control panel but it's one that may not be able to find to replace, since tub is an older model. And may need a new hot tub. Will go elsewhere if that's the case. Also ordered a new liner over a month ago for pool. Said it would be installed before the 4th of July. Got a call last week stating it's now being done July 6st. Well it's the 6st and still not being done e. They charge a $299 show up fee when they come out, even if they can't fix the problem. Better off going elsewhere and save you the headache and money!!

I really had a wonderful experience working with Dave at the Schenectady Old Brick Furniture store…read more He was way more attentive, personable, and knowledgeable than the person we worked with at Raymore & Flannagan the day before. My partner didn't like the vibe of R&F so much, because it felt like we were being rushed into a used car sales pitch, that he decided to skip the trip to Old Brick the following day. In truth, Old Brick was the polar opposite experience, and Dave gave me the breathing room I needed to make an informed decision about my new mattress. Upon entering Old Brick, Dave introduced himself and told me that I could browse and test the mattresses on my own. He also said that he'd be nearby if I needed help and then checked in with me after a couple mins. He asked if I'd like to try this mattress technology thing, to which I said, "oooo -- you had me at technology", and he walked me over. I laid down on a bed with a TV facing downward as he started the program. It scanned my sleep position with these rollers under my back, then it had me lay on my side. When the scan was complete, it knew that I was a "Blue dot" semi-firm mattress sleeper. And being I usually prefer semi-firm mattresses, I was impressed. Then Dave walked me through a variety of "blue dot" mattresses and had me test them. He commented on whether he felt any particular mattress looked comfortable or not. I think I tested every blue mattress there, but with his guidance I settled on an Old Brick hybrid mattress. It borrows a number of incredible features from other mattresses such as cooling gel, a large number of springs, several layers of memory foam, etc, but for less than half the price of the major brands. It was delivered the following day, and the delivery guys took the old mattress away for me. Overall, the experience of picking a mattress out was very pleasant and informative with Old Brick. Dave guided me through the various options, explained the features in layman's terms, and I didn't feel pressured. I'm very impressed with this business and we both absolutely LOVE our new mattress!
