Mark is the nicest and easiest person to deal with when it comes to Spas - His service is almost to good to be true... I bought my spa back in 2012 after researching basically everywhere and I am so glad I purchased from him (Spa Wholesaler). Mark was straight forward about the product - the pros, the cons, good/bad, the benefits of each - now I live in Amsterdam, NY and could have easily went with my local retailer but I found their prices to be much, much higher for the spas and they couldn't recommend handymen if there ever was a problem. Numerous places I went to seemed pushy trying to sell sell sell, when you deal with Mark you are not dealing with a robot - 4 years old now my Spa still runs and looks as if it's brand new. As for handymen/service for the tub, anytime in the past years I have an issue or question regarding the tub (which you will) either Mark or his partner Jeff answer their phone or quickly get right back to me. There is no waiting, no trying to sell me anything extra. They've even spent time on the phone talking me through simple issues or diagnosing a problem. I had to replace a seal once that came loose, they could have easily said no, we need to come fix it for $$, let's schedule an appointment yada, yada, but instead they talked me through it for free and on their own personal time. Well, when we bought our spa last November I wrote a review on the sales process and how Mark sold us what we wanted and what best suited our needs. No pressure-just good advice. Lots of people are good on the sales side. He told us when we bought the tub if we ever had a problem he would try to troubleshoot with us over the phone and save us a service call but if that didn't work we could expect him in 24-48 hours. Based on our experience with other companies, we just did not really believe it but it sounded good. Well, we had something happen and he was as good as his word. He called back promptly, we tried phone troubleshooting (no luck) and within 48 hours of our first call he was here to help us out. Turns out, it may not be a spa problem at all but something in our electrical service. Far from being upset that he drove an hour for what is likely not his problem, he actually went through the tub to ensure that everything was set up properly, tightened up some things that had come a bit loose in 10 months or so of frequent use and told us to call him whenever we needed him. Mark and his team have been wonderful to work with. I had been shopping around for a hot-tub for a few weeks at the end of 2020. Had visited or called pretty much all of the local stores in the capital region, this was very frustrating for me as the sales associates ether talked over me or couldn't answer basic questions about energy consumption or the manufacturing process for the products. Most sales persons just want to steer me to the most expensive modules. I had seen Marks website and on a whim called to make an appointment. This is the best place for sales, service and knowledgeable, honest opinion. I would never go anywhere else. Mark is the best! I went there anticipating purchasing a new tub. My current tub is older and needed some repair. He gave me an honest opinion. When he came to the house he said the tub was in really good shape, better than he expected. I could get several more years out of it before deciding to buy a new tub. It needed some maintenance but that was still less expensive than a new tub. There was no high pressure sales pitch to purchase anything, in fact he talked me out of it!! He came back with the items he needed, made the repairs and my tub was up and running. If you live in the upstate greater Albany region and looking for a hot tub then look no further. Our wife and I split our time between Staten Island and Edinburg NY. We have a Hot Springs Spa in Staten Island. We decided to buy a spa for our upstate home as well. After some research we visited The Spa Wholesaler. Jeff and Mark sold us an Artesian South Seas spa. Great price and excellent warrant. We run it 24/7 all year round. Temperature in the Adirondacks can be -20 in the winter. They delivered the spa to our door and helped lift it onto our deck. Gave us a startup kit with chemicals and top and stairs. That was 6 years ago. Not one issue since. The cover got a little waterlogged and stitching started to deteriorate so we just bought a new one. Got a heavier duty one with more insulation thickness. Excellent. These guys are the absolute best. Mark has helped me in the past with my tub, but last November we had a terrible storm where four power poles snapped at once. The power surged and blew out my motherboard so even when the power came back on the tub did not work. Unfortunately temperatures plummeted and the tub froze solid. I was in a panic. Mark came out ON THANKSGIVING weekend to see what need to be done. He wrote the estimate explained the insurance process to me and I had a new tub within 12 days! Even the insurance lady told me that his pricing was more than fair! Jeff came out and removed the old tub and installed the new one. There service is second to none! After going to many home shows and dealing with all of the sales calls and 'we are the best' attitude, we decided to call the Spa Wholesaler. Mark was great. So helpful! My husband and I purchased our hot tub in August of 2017. Mark was great with helping us to find the perfect tub for our needs. We had shopped at bigger stores that offered different finance options, but in the end the Spa Wholesaler ended up being by far the best value. The hot tub was delivered shortly after we ordered it. We have needed chemicals several times since our purchase and Mark has always been helpful in leading us to what we need exactly. He doesn't mark up the prices at all. The funniest thing was when I told him which one I wanted, he said "you don't have to buy it today I'll give you the information and you can think about it....." Really? A sales guy that says that goes to the top of my list!! These guys have saved me, and my swim spa, 2x now. I would, without a doubt, have the most expensive raised garden bed in my yard if not for them. I bought my swim spa from a company in PA which means no local pool or hot tub supplier will touch it with a 10 foot pole. "Did you buy it from us? No? Okay well sorry no, we can't help." I must have heard that 15x before finding the Spa Wholesaler crew. This year and last they came out to service my tub and return my sanity. Professional, knowledgeable (about ALL tubs!) and hard working, they fixed 2 issues that would have otherwise led me to drain the thing and start planting pumpkins in it. I had purchased a spa from the Altamont fairgrounds spa blowout sale in 2014. My heater pump went 3 weeks ago and I had contacted the companies service dept which after trying 6 different numbers, i had finally reached someone who i left a message with and got a return phone back. Now 3 weeks later, many emails and phone calls to them, i still dont have any a new heater pump which they said they would send me. I started to panic with the cold/freezing upcoming weather this week and Mark had calmed my fears and said he would be out the very next day to bring me a new pump and fix my issue. Wonderful customer service... I purchased a house that came with a hot tub, the previous owners allowed the pipes to freeze. We had to take apart the entire hot tub and fix the leaks, The Spa Wholesaler walked my dad through the entire process (and we hadn't previously purchased anything from them and the hot tub was not originally purchased from them) but they still helped us without a problem... about a year later, our heater didnt seem to be working. I called and they trouble shooted the problem with me over the phone. He knew exactly what the issue was and helped me so quick. He had no reason to help, but he did. He will inform you about the advantages and disadvantages and more importantly show you the differences of the various manufactured spas. They have many different manufactured tubs in the showroom and warehouse for you to see and measure against each other. We have had our hot tub for years. Recently had a tree puncture our cover and it was beyond repair. Spoke to Mark over the phone. He gave me options that depended on size, location and amount of usage. Once he got the info he placed the order. It came today. Mark had warned us not to sign for it until the box was opened and the cover was inspected for any shipping damage. Fortunately it was in perfect shape and it is on the tub.
