Barbara provided both massages in a beautifully decorated room that celebrated Sharon Springs past as a resort town after WWII. Cheryl, the owner, was knowledgable about the area and the history of the town. When I arrived I was invited to the inner waiting area which was nice and warm and served me a delicious loose leaf tea blend. The atmosphere was calming, the staff was easy going and I had plenty of time to relax before we started the massage. Barbara did a fantastic job and made me feel very comfortable and pampered. We really enjoyed the experience and left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. A great plus was that as compared with where we live, the price was about 30% less. I pre paid for my product and they said it would take about a week to get. I had to call two weeks later and it still had not come in. They were very suspicious saying " it is not their policy to accept prepayment for orders" which really made me uncomfortable. They said they needed to check with someone who orders products. Two more weeks go buy and I had not been contacted. I stopped into see the status and the product was on the shelf. Again the person was suspicious like I was trying to get a product for free or something. I would not have pre paid if I knew this was going to be a hassle. The gals who took my order initially were very pleasant so it was not all bad. I also understand that there are people out there who would try to get something for free.

The members are friendly and respectful of each other. Around mid-morning, a lot of older people use the facility, usually taking part in swimming classes, pilates, cardio equipment, or just visiting in the lobby with some coffee. This Y is I believe the only branch with racquetball courts, which are hard to find these days and greatly appreciated. The sauna is nice and the steam room is, ahem, intense so brace yourself!
