Its good. I went there a few years ago and enjoyed myself. I really liked eating on the deck.

The clam chowder was buttery and full of meat and potatoes, but could have used a bit of corn starch to thicken it up. The bacon wrapped scallops were good but could have used a maple glaze or thicker bacon to enhance the flavor of the bacon. The mozzarella sticks were gooey and full of cheese but needed a bit more seasoning in the breading. Overall, the food was tasty and not overpriced. This is a great place for a family lunch outing on a nice day. Service: The cashier was nice and helpful. Ambience: The restaurant has a small gift shop inside that has a bunch of cute gift options. There are multiple small picnic bench areas under an awnings and with a view of the water. This is a great spot and I look forward to trying out more of their menu.

They offer fresh seafood to pick up and take home to cook yourself, take out, or dine in their quaint eating area. The food is off the boat fresh! There is also an adorable little shop with Maine themed items. You order your food, and they call you when it's ready. Great tourist spot, but also lots of local traffic.

From the second we walked in this felt like a one of a kind experience. The table was set beautifully, Virginia and her team were so welcoming, and she is so incredibly knowledgeable. After the oyster tasting we enjoyed a lobster roll and then hopped on Captain Joe's boat for a tour of an oyster farm and a ride around this beautiful midcoast area. Timing of the tides worked out so that we got to see a bunch of seals. Captain Joe also helped us shuck some oysters while we enjoyed delicious rum punch cocktails he whipped up on the boat. We ended the tour with a beautiful sunset before heading back to the dock. Since moving to Maine seven years ago, it seems like during summertime, all the classic destinations have become so overrun with tourists and certain activities and places that are my go-tos have lost a bit of their charm. I think that's what I loved so much about Lady Oyster. Located in a tiny little peninsula village called West Point, it is off the beaten path, and almost feels like stepping back in time. I would 10/10 recommend Lady Oyster to anyone looking for a true hidden Maine gem. I hope to come back this winter for one of her dinners!

The picture taken was right after they arrived at the table. Seafood overcooked and stuck to bottom of tin foil baking/serving dish. Yes, $$$ to eat out of tin foil with plastic forks. Everything from the food to the service was not just disappointing, it was offensive. They close at 4, we got there at 3:30 and were rushed the entire time. We ate outside. We asked for umbrellas for the picnic tables but they wouldn't provide them because they had already put them away as part of their closing chores. The teenagers were pushy about collecting our trays and were clearly motivated to leave by 4:00. The scallops were disappointing. They were flavorless and tough. The real reason for this review though was Anna herself. I'm still in shock at the way we were treated. She inappropriately yelled at my child for climbing on some maritime object. She embarrassed her and crushed her in front of everyone. It's a greasy spoon, family friendly restaurant with open fields where kids play. Kids make mistakes. And we tell our kids when they're making mistakes. But if an owner has items so precious to her, she could put up signs, fence things off, or just not leave them out in the open. She also could communicate her needs to people, including children, respectfully. But she didn't. I spoke with Anna privately at the end of the night saying she didn't have to scorn my child. She could have spoken to me or communicated without shaming her but she double-downed on her offensiveness, aggressively continuing to insult my child to my face. She behaved as if she was looking for a fight and needed a target to unleash her aggression on. In any event, as long as Anna is running Anna's restaurant, we will never return and I told her that. I don't think she will mind, she seemed to not want our business from the moment we got out of our cars today. I've just never experienced such ugly behavior before. She should be ashamed of herself. Maybe she's unwell and needs emotional and mental support. Tonight I'll pray that God gives her some grace and hopefully she can find some peace so she won't have to take out her aggression on her guests' children.

I never mentioned that our waitress was also as good the food, I believe her name was Tanner she was so helpful, sweet and had a great mannerism too , I also made it a point to tell her coworkers to tell their manager of how great our waitress was, it's hard nowadays to find someone who goes above and beyond doing her job, 5 stars for your work .. Thanks Again Cooks we love coming back to this area. Certainly worth the visit.. you'll all thank me later, Noel
