Purchased an alternator from Cost Less and had it replaced in their parking lot only to find that…read moremy car still didn't work. I had to have it towed to my mechanic where he found the alternator purchased from them was bad. Per my mechanic, that was my first mistake. He added that they had horrible customer service and they weren't going to like me telling them their part was bad. HE WAS ABSOLUTELY CORRECT! They did not want to give me a refund; stating that their policy is no refunds on parts that were already installed. How was I supposed to know it was bad before installing??? I had to argue with them and they stated they had to confirm their alternator was bad. They were supposed to contact me the next morning, but instead they avoided me. They eventually ended up refunding me my money and stated they had it tested and it was good. But my car worked perfectly fine with a new alternator from Tucson Alternator where they tested the old one and confirmed it was bad. They also charged me a 15% restocking fee.... for their BAD alternator!!! Instead of apologizing for the inconvenience, a week without my car, a tow fee of $130 and labor for my mechanic when it could've been fixed that same day in their parking lot if their part was good; they were the ones upset at me. Horrible experience. Highly recommend everywhere else except COST LESS!

Some warning lights came up on my car and I asked one of the employees to see if they could run their diagnostic machine to see if any codes came up. The initial employee was able to run the diagnostic code but was not very helpful in interpreting the results or next steps. Fortunately we asked the manager for help who quickly recommended a cheap remedy- an engine cleaner solution. And it worked! Very grateful for his assistance and highly recommend this location because of him.

Never mind I owe a hauling company. Go ahead and chase me off. So I knew exactly what I needed. The counter salesman wasn't going to let me in. I told him I needed 1/2 by 1/2 studs he responded. Not well but ok I had drove over 25 minutes to get there. Then I said lets match another part. He hesitated because I needed to grab it out of my truck. But I demanded. Then he refused to help a trucker that arrived3 minutes before they close but he would not open the door. They don't have that many unique parts. I own many trailers and unfortunately this is not the place to find parts. By the way. The location sucks. Update....he measured my part with a digital veneer caliper and still gave me the wrong part! WTH?

When I reached out to the company for assistance, they refused to take any responsibility or offer a resolution.I believe Pull-A-Part took advantage of us by selling a faulty vehicle under false pretenses.
