I went in for an estimate to fix my Camaro, and they were not up front about the costs. The guy seemed to rush me since he wanted to go to lunch. He charged me almost $80 just to look at it for a couple of minutes and told me he would email me a report with prices and damages. My name is Gary Knox and I grew up in the muscle car era of the 1960's and have been a car guy all my life. I have modified every car I have ever owned to be exactly my personal performance vehicle. I have always needed to do all my own work because finding competent shops that would do what I wanted has always been frustrating and I hate having a so-called "expert" ask me, "Why do you want to do that?" If you look at any other of my reviews you can see I'm extremely particular and picky on who I allow to work on my car. This review is long overdue. My wife and I moved to Tucson more than a year ago. As we got settled, it was important to us to find a reputable and capable place to service our vehicles. I made a purchased on Feb/06 for a O2 sensors, but I make a return after 2days, because it didn't delivered on time and I can't wait for it. I've been in the car scene for many years so I've been in and out of a lot shops. This place definitely exceeded my expectations. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the owner and support staff. I was offered a cold bottle of water (it was extremely hot that day) and a place to sit on a leather couch. There's a flat screen to watch movies while work was being done my vehicle. I found myself at Eden Customs when I was in the market for a part that I was having trouble finding for my vehicle. The owner of Eden just so happened to have the part I was looking for. In fact, he owned the same car as me. So he went out to his car, took the part that I wanted off his vehicle, customized it to my liking, and charged me an extremely reasonable price. I was completely blown away by the customer service and quality of work! I returned again when my brakes had worn down. I was on a budget and didn't have much to spend. Again, Eden Customs pulled through. The owner sold me a set of used brakes (ENDLESS) off one of his shop cars. The brakes were about 70% worn and I was given a price 1/6 of the original price since they were used. That's something you can't find anywhere else. Brakes were installed and I love them! No problems at all. There are very few shops that I trust, but Eden Customs is definitely one of them. read more

No job is too small (I just had some mudflaps installed while my tires were rotated, billed at only 3/4 of an hour) nor too big (they've done major suspension and brake upgrades on our cars), and the price quoted is not only fair, it won't change before you pick up your car. Edwin and his team always keep you informed about what's going on with your car, and their craftsmanship and customer service are excellent. Too bad that Eden Customs doesn't have a lot of reviews on Yelp because they truly deserve it. Imagine you know someone who knows a lot about cars. I mean a mechanic who is also an automotive enthusiast, not just any knowledgeable mechanic. Someone who tinkers with cars and their performance. Then this person also owns a shop that can do the things he and you tinkers with. I am talking about after market modifications and tuning that are done by knowledgeable mechanics, not your high school buddy in your garage. If you're looking for a place like that then Eden Customs should be one of your visits, at least. What's more cool is that they work on expensive German cars. I was looking to put after market suspension in my VW CC and almost gave up until I was introduced to Eden Customs by word of mouth. I spoke to Edwin (one of the co-owners) from the shop. He impressed me right away with his knowledge of German after market parts, and ended up recommending what I thought I was going to use anyway (KW V1). These are expensive parts and I was on the fence because I did not know how they would perform. Edwin assured me that I would like them based on what I told him about my driving preferences. Although I only spoke to him once, I felt like I could trust him. Fast forward a couple months from that conversation, I am now driving on a set of KW V1 in my CC and totally love them. Nice and firm without sacrificing stock comforts, as Edwin had said. I've been back for some adjustment since and the shop did it without charge. I also spoke to Edwin about other stuff for the car and his knowledge continues to impress me. As soon as my car is out of warranty, I know which shop is going to service it. If you're a car enthusiast and want the best service for your ride, check out Eden Customs. By the way, they have a large, clean shop with cool cars inside as well as some custom 2-wheel bobbers (I knew they were cool people for some reason) ... Eden is located very close to my home and was in the market for an HID headlight kit for my bike. Was very pleased to learn EDEN had the kit in stock and had immediate openings to install. The HID was fair priced but it was the job of the techs and their install job that exceeded my expectations. The job was very clean, very well done, and the techs went above and beyond to take the time and buff my old headlight lens to make it look new again. Did I mention the shop manager Edwin gave a 2 year warranty with the kit? I will be taking my bike to these folks for any and every custom job I may get into. Needed some lowering springs installed on my Jeep Grand Cherokee in addition to getting a quote for the a full color wrap. Based on the astounding positive reviews on yelp i thought i go by Eden Customs and check them out. Gotta say that the whole progress was flawless. Person at the front desk answered my questions sufficiently and provided a very reasonable quote for suspension and the wrap. Even after i advised that the wrap will not occur for quite some time they said that is ok and would still honor the discounted price of doing the lowering springs still. I was delighted and they had no problem in bringing my own parts for them to install. Eden installed the springs in a very timely manner and very happy with the results.
