Front office friendliness was not good. I wanted an estimate and left my vehicle for the night. Still no estimate days later. My experience was kind of meh. I have a 93 year old adopted mom, she never would have felt good about this place or the lack of engagement and follow through. Elected to retrieve my car and go to a shop where I felt like there was some customer service--oddly no attempt at all to keep my business. Would they do a good job with repairs? Not sure, but if the reception and lack of follow through in producing an estimate is any indication, I am a skeptic. To me there are better choices. read more

I was rear-ended and found TACC through some research. I wish I would have gone somewhere else. When I dropped off my car, it sat in the lot for a week before I heard of any updates. I was actively calling them to check-in, by the way. By the second week, I was getting regular updates which I appreciated. Fast-forward to when I picked up my car, I found that my windshield was cracked (which it wasn't when I dropped it off). Instead of taking responsibility, since my car was in their care, they told me to file a claim through insurance. To make matters worse, as I drove home, I saw a check airbag light come on. When I was hit, my airbags didn't deploy, but I would have thought that the technicians would have checked for this as they were working on a vehicle with damage from a car accident. I also noticed that my alignment was terribly off, when I took it back to address the airbag light, they told me they wouldn't do an alignment for a rear crash, only a front crash. At this point, I was tired of hearing their lies and took it to a mechanic. I didn't even tell the mechanic I had been in a car accident, and yet they asked if I had recently been in a car crash because the alignment was terribly off. I was flabbergasted. I am entirely disappointed and would not recommend this company. In the past, I have gone to Chapman Collision and National Auto Collision Center and I had a good experience with both of these companies. In early December 2022 I brought in my 1986 foreign car for bodywork repair. My insurance company had an adjuster provide an estimate and my goal was to have Tucson Collision do the work. The company did evaluate the damage and give a written estimate (which coincided with that of the adjuster). Since parts would have to be sourced, I was told to check back in a month. The first week of January I called TAC only to be told that the estimator no longer worked there. They did have the documentation but told me to bring in the car for a new estimate--nothing about honoring what they had already provided. And despite their original estimate including links for the parts, they decided to find them elsewhere. And they DID find the parts and I DID approve them. Naturally, the second estimate was higher than the first. We had discussed the possibility of additional work and a portion of that was included in the new estimate. I explained that while I was indeed interested in the additional repairs, I needed an estimate for just the work that the insurance adjuster authorized. I called twice to follow up. No response. Look, if the company doesn't want the job (for whatever reason) then they should have the decency to tell me. Why leave me hanging? My fault: I should have realized their slimey tactics when then refused to honor the first estimate they provided. All in all, a rather disappointing experience. read more

Can't say enough good words about this company. From the moment we walked in to get the quote to picking up the finished product (amazing!) of our car all repaired, we are in awe! The entire left rear bumper and wheel well was completely scraped from me accidentally backing into my fountain. But, these guys repaired it so well, it looked like it just came off of a showroom floor. It's perfect! The car was completely detailed, both in and out.... it's like we have a brand new car again. My 2008 Toyota Solara had some damage on right side and the front bumper. After speaking with Rene I made an appointment and left the car for the repair and paint. The repair was more than I expected. The color was perfectly matched and there was no sign that the car had any damage. The headlights were cleaned and other extra work was done. These kind people were the best! Recommended by my insurance and boy am I glad! After a collision where my rear tire and rim were greatly damaged, they stepped in immediately and knew how to fix and workedvery quickly. I highly recommend them. My Subaru dealer does not do auto body and was not only unhelpful but delayed me getting the car fixed by not responding with information I needed and an estimate. They also replaced the tire and rim and never looked for further damage and 3 days later I was back as emergency when tire was rubbing on car! On the same day Tucson Auto got my car towed in , I got a call with a detailed report of what was needed. 2 days later I had an estimate and delivery date of when my car would be ready. They really saved me when the insurance company was trying to underpay my claim. They worked with the insurance adjuster and got everything fixed, even the repairs that weren't apparent by a cursory look. I didn't have to do anything. This place is horrible. The female owner, I believe her name is Angel Lopez is rude and doesn't give a crap about customer service. I only came here cause an accident I was involved in and their insurance had chosen them for repairs. Over $5000 in parts/labor and they couldn't fix it the first time or even take complete fault for their wrong doing or at least apologize for the inconvenience. She was rude on the phone and cut me off when I was trying to tell her my situation. ( BTW, if you advertise that you open at 7:30am on Google and someone calls at 8:30 and it goes straight to voicemail that says "you are closed". You might want to change your information so you don't cause more inconvenience. ) When I got my car back I wasn't able to give it a complete check cause I was rushing to head to work but 2 days later I see that my front bumper is not flush to the rest of the car, the back passenger door from the inside would not open and could not lock. My husband and I took the car back and the owner said they would fix the front bumper but not take liability to the passenger door cause the only thing they did was clean the inside of the car yet didn't get in the back cause "it was filthy with dog hair". First, I have a cover that protects my seats from dog hair and second, no one had asked you to clean the inside of my car. So after my husband said we would contact BBB and I was on the phone with the insurance company she quickly went inside and 3 minutes later comes outside to tell us they would look at my car again and to not call the insurance. (The insurance company has records of this incident) When we left to get another car so we could drop off my car, Rene, had come to help us and told us that THEY REMOVED THE PANEL TO THE BACK PASSENGER DOOR during repairs! So... the owner says they wouldn't take liability yet the repair guy told us what you guys did to my car and yet you blame it on us?... I got my car the next day after calling them to get an update and when I went to pick it up no one was there except the owner, Angel. She walked me to where they repair the cars and my keys were outside of the car just sitting where the windshield wipers are at and my doors unlocked. What if someone drove off with my car?! I drove off and without an apology for the inconvenience or rudeness. I'm fortunate enough to have dealt with other respectable repair shops and this place is definitely those called "scam artist" mechanics. And after looking at their Facebook/ Google reviews this has happened to other people and it shows your true colors with your comments. read more
