5 Star Collision Center - After repairs. - Body Shops Near Me - Tucson, Arizona

Husband's car (rear bumper) was hit in a parking lot. Our insurance company recommended 5 Star Collision Center for the repair. Husband took it in to 5 Star, was given an estimate and a day to bring it in with an understanding that it would take 3 days to repair. In the car went. At the end of 3 days, husband was told it would be a few more days. It took 6 hours just to remove the bumper. It ended up being a week and that was okay. They did an excellent job on the car, even washing it and vacuuming it. The cost was slightly more than the estimate because of the difficulty in removing the bumper, so that's okay too. It's our only experience with 5 Star but we will recommend them to others and use them again if needed. Thanks, 5 Star! read more

My son had his vehicle ran into the Friday after Thanksgiving, he dropped his vehicle off the first week of December and every time he calls them, they find a new part that needs replaced. We are halfway through the February, and they still have not given him a date on when he might get his truck back. 5 Star keeps blaming the vendor they get the parts from, meanwhile my son has had to borrow other family members vehicles so he can get back in forth to work. He is making payments on a vehicle he doesn't even have access to right now. read more

Passage side door of our 2021 Camry was hit by another vehicle. 5 Star did an exceptional job on the bodywork, cannot tell that our vehicle was ever damaged. The service is friendly and we received us text message updates throughout the repair. read more

I ran over a parking bumper and damaged the bottom of my bumper. My technician, Geno, was honest with me and told me that my bumper was okay. I greatly appreciate his honesty and will definitely return here for any body work my car may need. read more

Stopped by for a recommendation on what to do about a wear spot on the center hub of my steering wheel (a remnant of the overuse of hand sanitizer). Although 5-Star was not able to repair the problem without replacing the part, Francisco referred me to an upholstery shop which was able to help me. Thank you, Francisco!! read more

from the very beginning of my interaction with 5 Star I felt like this wasn't the place for me. They need a course in Custer care. they way they interact with customers should be of most importance. Because my insurance recommended them I decided to make an appointment to take my care in. the first appointment I had to cancel, I called them and rescheduled for a later date. well over a month. the day if my appointment I went in to find out my appointment was canceled and my rental was canceled leaving me in a bind. this was a combination of the insurance and 5 Star speaking with each other and never once called the customer (me) to confirm anything. 5 Star never apologized or took fault for anything. instead they told me out of curiosity they will get me in the following week. I could never go back with the interaction I had with them. read more

We were behind a pickup that had several containers of paint. Suddenly, paint began pouring out of the tailgate and spewed white paint on our car. It splattered all over the grill, hood, windshield, roof and mirrors. No, I was not tailgating, it was just a lot of paint all at once. 5 Star Collision worked with our insurance company. They sent a tow truck out to get the car. I was updated regularly and the car was finished when promised. I couldn't believe the finish they put on the car. Moulding, windshield, grill, wipers and fog light bezels were all replaced. I couldn't find one speck of spilled paint on the car! I paid them our deductible and drove home a very satisfied customer! read more

Had a small dent on my car. Took a few weeks to get it in the maintenance shop and have the repairs done. Everything's a bit backed up but they kept me updated the entire time. Overall, they gave it back in great shape and cleaner than it was. read more

Outstanding! 5 star customer service and the repair process was fast and easy; quick consultation for the estimate and my mother's truck was fixed in about two days. I recommend this facility for its outstanding service! read more

I was happy with the final result of body work on my car. However, the communication from Jennifer was disappointing. She wasn't especially friendly from the start. After mentioning I did not have transportation to 5 Star to pick up my car, she failed to communicate to me (as she promised) that Henry was on his way to pick me up. What if I had not been home? Henry drove 20 miles to Green Valley to pick up a customer without any communication from Jennifer. Very unprofessional, but I will recommend 5 Star in terms of the quality of the work. read more

I took my 2019 Honda accord to get some repairs by these "professionals" a few months ago. First of all, they took forever to have my vehicle ready. They kept giving false updates and kept pushing out the date of when the vehicle was going to be ready. They kept giving out excuses and kept giving me a different reason each time of why the vehicle wasn't ready. I finally got my vehicle and it was missing parts from the bottom. I obviously didn't take the car back to this horrible place to get that repaired. I unfortunately got hit by another vehicle about two months ago. I decided to take my car to Jim Click Collision Center by the auto mall. They went ahead and pulled my vehicle apart and sent me photos of the "work" this center did to my car. They glued most of the parts together and they screwed the parts together with regular dry wall house nails. Did you guys think I wouldn't of found out? I will make sure to call Geico and let them know of the horrible job you guys did. And I'm sure you will get sued. You guys probably told Geico new parts were being used for the repairs and kept the money for yourself. Please do not get your car fixed by these people, they will not do a good and professional job. Your call will end up looking like mine. I wonder how many people you guys have scammed and provided these types of "repairs" to their vehicles. My car looks like an art project by a 5 year old! read more

My car was repaired by 5 Star after a recent accident. They did an incredible job of repairing the damage. My car looks brand new. Plus, even including ordering parts, it was fixed rapidly. Bodywork done well is not cheap, but I found 5 Star's charges competitive. Very happy. read more

I had sourced several body shops for estimates and even during that part of the process 5 Star stood out. The ambience of the office is very warm and inviting, it wasn't all greasy and grungy like a lot of body shops can be. Angie was great, she helped me right away, surveyed the damage to my truck, gave me an estimate and set the expectation as to when they could get to it and a reasonable estimate of the cost. I brought it in, they got to it right away, their estimate was spot on and they did a masterful job. They even washed and detailed the outside of my truck. I was blown away. VERY, VERY happy with the work they did, the service and the overall experience. I would recommend them to anyone. read more

Anytime my car is in a fender bender there is no question who I am going to call. So when my brand new car was hit and dented on the front bumper I got a little sad but then I was fine because I knew exactly who I needed to contact to make it look brand new again. I ALWAYS bring my vehicle to 5 Star Collision when it needs work. They make any crappy situation so much better. Their entire staff is SUPER friendly and welcoming. You never wait long at all they take care of their customers extremely well. This past visit I had a quick quote and then when I dropped off my vehicle again to get fixed it took them 2 days for the work it needed which the dealership told me it would take them 4 days. They kept me informed the entire time about the status of my vehicle. And my favorite part is they do the utmost QUALITY WORK every single time! I know my car is always in good hands with them. read more

I chose this business because of the good reviews of others and I was not disappointed. Everyone was both kind and friendly and also knowledgeable and capable. It made a stressful situation as easy as possible. I can still remember the names of everyone I talked to- Angie, Mark, and especially Margie, who went out of her way to give me a ride to pick up my car. Thank you, 5 Star, for all your help and the good work you do!!! read more

I was rear ended in October and need my car for work so I was very stressed. I called everywhere in town and no one would help me with arranging a rental car, I was so frustrated. When I called 5 Star, Angie answered right away, got me into a rental car the SAME day (which was almost impossible at 5:00 pm on a Friday afternoon), and she was so sweet along with every single person who worked there. Best customer service, my car looks absolutely perfect and was ready within a couple of days. I will never go anywhere else and would recommend Angie to anyone in need of their services. read more

After being in a fender bender, I called my State Farm agent to file a claim and asked for the name of a body and paint shop to do the repairs. The agent told me that under the policy I was free to pick any Body and Paint shop I wanted but when I asked for which one they had the best experience with, the gal immediately said Five Star Body and Paint in Tucson. After using them for the needed work, I can easily see why she recommended them. The quality of their work and the friendly, efficient service they give are amazing. Since I live in Green Valley, they asked if I would like their estimator to come to my home instead of my driving there. The estimator came to my home and when the work was authorized sent someone to pick-up the vehicle to have the work done. No extra charge for that service. The work done was perfection and when my vehicle was delivered back to me, it had been fully detailed inside and out, including cleaning of the carpets. It hasn't looked this good in years. I highly recommend them to anyone needing Paint and Body work. The quality of their work is outstanding and the friendly, efficient above average service by their employees is exceptional. read more

I recently had my car repaired after an accident. 5 Star had been recommended by the other party's insurer, so I didn't need to see a claims adjuster. I was a bit dubious, but decided to check it out. I called over and was told to stop by, and they would look at the car and schedule me. When I got to 5 Star, the information from the insurer had already been received, so what proceeded was incredibly efficient. The employees I met made a great first impression. They were friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I was in and out with an appointment in under 1/2 hour, knowing what they were going to do and how long it would take. When I dropped my car off, because I had declined a rental, I was driven home by the owner, Angie. Every day my car was with them, they called to give me an update. When the car was done, Angie and another employee delivered it to me at home. The car looks great. The workers are extremely skilled. The details are perfect. They cleaned it inside and out. I could not be happier with the work they did and highly recommend them. The quality of the work they do is matched by their extraordinary customer service. read more
