Husband's car (rear bumper) was hit in a parking lot. Our insurance company recommended 5 Star Collision Center for the repair. Husband took it in to 5 Star, was given an estimate and a day to bring it in with an understanding that it would take 3 days to repair. In the car went. At the end of 3 days, husband was told it would be a few more days. It took 6 hours just to remove the bumper. It ended up being a week and that was okay. They did an excellent job on the car, even washing it and vacuuming it. The cost was slightly more than the estimate because of the difficulty in removing the bumper, so that's okay too. My son had his vehicle ran into the Friday after Thanksgiving, he dropped his vehicle off the first week of December and every time he calls them, they find a new part that needs replaced. We are halfway through the February, and they still have not given him a date on when he might get his truck back. 5 Star keeps blaming the vendor they get the parts from, meanwhile my son has had to borrow other family members vehicles so he can get back in forth to work. from the very beginning of my interaction with 5 Star I felt like this wasn't the place for me. They need a course in Custer care. they way they interact with customers should be of most importance. Because my insurance recommended them I decided to make an appointment to take my care in. the first appointment I had to cancel, I called them and rescheduled for a later date. well over a month. the day if my appointment I went in to find out my appointment was canceled and my rental was canceled leaving me in a bind. this was a combination of the insurance and 5 Star speaking with each other and never once called the customer (me) to confirm anything. 5 Star never apologized or took fault for anything. instead they told me out of curiosity they will get me in the following week. We were behind a pickup that had several containers of paint. Suddenly, paint began pouring out of the tailgate and spewed white paint on our car. It splattered all over the grill, hood, windshield, roof and mirrors. No, I was not tailgating, it was just a lot of paint all at once. 5 Star Collision worked with our insurance company. They sent a tow truck out to get the car. I was updated regularly and the car was finished when promised. I couldn't believe the finish they put on the car. Moulding, windshield, grill, wipers and fog light bezels were all replaced. I couldn't find one speck of spilled paint on the car! I was happy with the final result of body work on my car. However, the communication from Jennifer was disappointing. She wasn't especially friendly from the start. After mentioning I did not have transportation to 5 Star to pick up my car, she failed to communicate to me (as she promised) that Henry was on his way to pick me up. What if I had not been home? Henry drove 20 miles to Green Valley to pick up a customer without any communication from Jennifer. Very unprofessional, but I will recommend 5 Star in terms of the quality of the work. read more

I took my 2019 Honda accord to get some repairs by these "professionals" a few months ago. First of all, they took forever to have my vehicle ready. They kept giving false updates and kept pushing out the date of when the vehicle was going to be ready. They kept giving out excuses and kept giving me a different reason each time of why the vehicle wasn't ready. I finally got my vehicle and it was missing parts from the bottom. I obviously didn't take the car back to this horrible place to get that repaired. I unfortunately got hit by another vehicle about two months ago. I decided to take my car to Jim Click Collision Center by the auto mall. They went ahead and pulled my vehicle apart and sent me photos of the "work" this center did to my car. They glued most of the parts together and they screwed the parts together with regular dry wall house nails. Did you guys think I wouldn't of found out? I will make sure to call Geico and let them know of the horrible job you guys did. And I'm sure you will get sued. You guys probably told Geico new parts were being used for the repairs and kept the money for yourself. Please do not get your car fixed by these people, they will not do a good and professional job. Your call will end up looking like mine. I wonder how many people you guys have scammed and provided these types of "repairs" to their vehicles. The ambience of the office is very warm and inviting, it wasn't all greasy and grungy like a lot of body shops can be. After being in a fender bender, I called my State Farm agent to file a claim and asked for the name of a body and paint shop to do the repairs. The agent told me that under the policy I was free to pick any Body and Paint shop I wanted but when I asked for which one they had the best experience with, the gal immediately said Five Star Body and Paint in Tucson. After using them for the needed work, I can easily see why she recommended them. The quality of their work and the friendly, efficient service they give are amazing. Since I live in Green Valley, they asked if I would like their estimator to come to my home instead of my driving there. The estimator came to my home and when the work was authorized sent someone to pick-up the vehicle to have the work done. No extra charge for that service. The work done was perfection and when my vehicle was delivered back to me, it had been fully detailed inside and out, including cleaning of the carpets. It hasn't looked this good in years.
