But yeah, I can show you pictures that it was Bent up. Their solution was. To take a grinder and and fix the problem that way, even though they didn't want to correct the problem the right way I get my car back and now my hood won't open. I had to go to another shop to get it I wouldn't trust these people. They say a rear end collision has nothing to do with the front end. I said everything could've forward. could've popped the plastic hood release whatever they didn't it but yet when you take your car to a shop that's been in a wreck. They should do a checkpoint to go over everything in the car but yet they say it is my problem. I have to fix it myself even though before I was in this wreck, my car was in perfect working condition. The law that they have to give it back to you in the state that it was before you were in the wreck it is crazy what they will tell you and what they will say to you just so they don't the proper job who takes a metal grinder to metal hide the fact of the underlining problem. My car got postponed once and I had to bring my car back once as well as when I was driving I heard rushing air turns out they didn't install my back window correctly so they had to take it off and put it back on right. Originally contacted on 9/2/24 by email and again on 9/15/24 with no response. On 9/19/24 spoke to Mike(owner) and was told since he was 5 minutes from house would come by to see cars and provide an estimate. Finally on 10/2/24 he emailed and said would come by on 10/12/24 and see cars. Over 5 weeks after had initially contacted him. Came to my house late with terrible attitude and proceeded to put his hands and fingerprints all over my car. Even though anyone knows the oil, etc on hands, fingers damages the paint and leads to rust. Mike would not provide an estimate despite going over cars as he had a haircut appointment. Told me he would have me estimate by mid week 10/16/24. Since did not hear back from Mike on 10/23/24 I emailed if any update on. No response to email, estimate or call. On 10/25/24 I emailed again "Why no response? At least have the common courtesy to respond. Bad enough I have spent almost 2 months on. You said you would have estimates a week and a half ago. thanks" Of course no response from Mike. After waiting almost a week as again no response, I called today 10/29/24 and was told she was not interested in. I dared to follow up so I hurt his feelings and did not care that wasted 2 months of my life/time. Terrible place. Sadly, my 2008 vehicle sustained a front-end hit (3/24). Luckily, by an insured driver. The damage exceeded book value. Although insurance was willing to pay for the repair, I ended up taking the loss, retain the payout, salvage the car, and purchase a new/used one. In my 45 years of driving, never have I experienced working with an automotive company with higher standards, professionalism and integrity than Cutting Edge Collision Center! I was referred to Cutting Edge by my trusted mechanic after my small SUV was involved in a hit and run in the parking lot at a home improvement store. My hatchback and panoramic sunroof were compromised from something, possibly a 2x4, bashing a large dent in my roof at high speed. I called my insurance company who referred me to a dealership but when I met with the dealership's adjustor it didn't feel right plus they were slammed and could not get me in for several weeks. So, I called Cutting Edge and the moment I spoke with Celina it was obvious I was in touch with someone who really cared. When I arrived for my initial consultation with Mike I noticed vehicles in their shop from DPS Highway Patrol, U of A and Tucson Electric Power Co and I realized right then and there that I was definitely at the best repair shop in town which gave me peace of mind! It turned out my SUV had major damage which would prove to be quite tricky to repair due to the enormous impact of whatever had hit my roof compromising my hatchback and sunroof. The repairs required multiple parts which had to be ordered and due to the COVID pandemic plus Christmas and New Year holidays the parts, like all parts and supplies at the time were on infinite back-order. Stay far far away! Brought a classic Jeep (1984 stock with very limited production color) in for a small dent repair. Consulted with Mike and was told the dent would be removed by their paintless dent remover guy, then they would spray the rear passenger quarter and blend near the bottom of the passenger door. Very limited paint was supposed to be sprayed. Fast forward to a couple weeks ago when I went to check on the vehicle. According to Mike (manager), the painter "took it upon himself" to spray the vast majority of the side of the Jeep" to include the passenger door. To boot, the color was way off and instead of doing it right and removing the key cylinder and handle from the door, they taped over them, which leaves obvious lines. To fix their error, they had to use several coats of paint to finally come up with the right color. One would think they would color match a sample prior to painting the whole side, but not this company. Apparently they just spray and spray until they get the color correct. The problem we have now is the paint is so thick that it sticks out past the decals, and the factory spot welds that I expressed over and over that need to be as prominent are now covered with several layers of paint. Not to mention the paint they sprayed has contaminants and runs in it. So, the value of the Jeep has greatly diminished now. I told Gary (owner) at this point the only resolution is to strip and respray the Jeep (which still leaves me at a loss), but according to him "that is not reasonable". Instead, he apparently thinks it is reasonable to do shotty work outside the scope of the original discussion and not have any repercussion. Gary's solution was to charge me $1350, which is the middle range of his $1300-$1400 estimate. I'm not paying him to destroy my Jeep. Everyone makes errors. I gave Cutting Edge an opportunity to make it right, which they refuse to do so because they'll lose money on the job. That is not how this works. Own up to your mistakes and make it right, even if it is not to your monetary advantage Potential customers: trust me when I tell you to please do yourself a favor and find a better shop. read more

Thanks to other's reviews of Sooter's I've been working with them on repairs since I moved here a few years ago. After a recent run-in with a shredded semi-tire on the Highway, the car needed more TLC than Sooter's could provide, so they recommended Cutting Edge for the body work. we had a damaged rv which took over a year to fix. they said it had been cleaned and detailed, ready to pickup. it was filthy inside with metal shavings and small pieces of plastic all over the floor. the tile look wallpaper around the shower was bubbling up and two rows did not even touch, showing the underlying surface. screws were left off the outside causing the side to bulge out. a vent cover was gone from over the stove. they did fix the shower, replaced steps and side but poor quality overall. they also discounted the total due to our dissatisfaction, nice but would have been better to have it done right. read more

I've been to Cutting Edge on a few occasions. The first time, it was to have a side mirror replaced on my Volkswagen (due to my negligence). The second and third times were because I was unlucky enough to have my brand new Jeep hit twice within a 6-month period. First of all, Cutting Edge does beautiful, quality, work. This goes for both their custom work as well as collision repair. Yes, their prices are a bit higher that those of other companies, but body work falls under the "You get what you pay for" category. They're not into quick fixes. Their approach is old school in that they take their time to ensure that the work is done right the first time. For this reason, neither insurance company hesitated to give the go-ahead on both occasions for the repairs to my Jeep. And their customer service? That alone warrants 5 stars. Mike is so sweet and he made the whole process painless. He was there every step of the way and made sure everything went smoothly. My hectic schedule (and the fact that some jerk hit my brand new car twice!) had me running around like a chicken with my head cut off, so he was great about taking care of the all the details so I didn't have to. All I had to do was take the car in for the estimates, then drop it off again to get the work done. He took care of the rest. He stayed in touch the entire time and even found a way to save me $300 on my deductible on one occasion. He also dealt with the rental company and made sure that they picked my rental up when the repairs were complete so I didn't have to ride all the way back to Enterprise after a long work day. I am so thankful that there are places like Cutting Edge. Whether you're in an accident, or need custom work, they will get you taken care of. I messaged the shop on Saturday night around 8pm knowing they were close and I received an automatic reply I responded thinking they were going to get back to me Monday morning, around 10pm, I received another response and I admitted I was rude and made a mean comment.
