They say cars aren't museums and should be driven out in the elements, but I say, why not do both? Three years ago, I started doing some research on local detailers specializing in ceramic coatings here in Tucson. Cool Auto had great reviews and many of them were personally answered by their owner, Cassandra. When I called for more information, sure enough, Cassandra answered the phone and took the time to explain all my options and invited me to see their shop at any time. I found her prices were fair and her shop was full of beautifully detailed cars and professional folks when I visited. I booked an appointment immediately. Over the years, Cassandra and her crew have expanded their offerings, now installing PPF and window tint to go along with their expert paint correction, detailing, and ceramic applications. Over the years, they have handled paint chips, door scratches, water spots and maintained my car's finish perfectly. Their prices are fair and they get the job done right, every time. It's rare these days, but after three years visiting her shop, I trust and believe it when they say they care about their customers' cars and happiness. I've brought the membership, I get my ceramic coating maintained every year, and eventually, I'll replace the original PPF on my bumper at Cool Auto as well. If you appreciate someone looking after your baby just like you would, Cool Auto is the place to go. read more

I had an excellent experience here. They did a truly thorough job restoring my vehicle inside and out, far beyond what I expected given the damage and wear. The headlights, leather, and overall condition look almost brand new. My grandfather, who owned the car before me, didn't even recognize it when I showed him photos -- that's how dramatic the difference was. They had really great customer service the entire time my car was in there. The owner was very down to earth, and it really make me feel very comfortable. They were patient and flexible with my schedule, and I really appreciated that. Once I finally got the car in, they took great care of it. I'm genuinely happy with the results and would 100% recommend them. I definitely will be coming back for the future especially when i'm ready to get my car painted that I can afford it due to the side fender paint that has been fading for some time. read more

Did a great job with our Z3's exterior detail. The price is worth it, and the owner was very knowledgeable about maintenance and repair. David worked on our car, and it looks great. read more

Have ever had that one week that took you out? I had car spills after spills on my last week of ICU rotation and I didn't have the time or capacity to deeply clean my car. But honestly who wants to drive around in a car that feels gross? Nobody. I searched for a location instead of a mobile business which lead me here. Customer service was top tier. I will find out the names of the ladies who helped me and do a google review as well. So I made an appointment, but then needed to reschedule and it was an easy hassle free process. Now my car looks and drives like new. I will definitely be back. The only downside was air drying my mats. But it was worth the price. I've already told 3 people. I will be back read more

After the drive from San Diego to Tucson, my car needed some help. So many bugs splattered all over the car. Found this place Cool Auto Detailing. They were able to get me in next day. Fixed it right up and looking great. Shout out to David the detailer who did excellent work. Thank you. read more

We've had our trucks taken care of here a few times. The website is easy to navigate to set up your appointment. The options are clear. The owner is really nice and will tell you exactly what goes into the service as well as the importance of taking care of the exterior in the weather so here. It's not cheap but you get what you pay for and you're supporting small, woman-owned business. I wish the hours were a little longer in the day. If you have regular office hours, your service may run into your work day. Highly recommend. read more

I spent nearly $3,000 on a ceramic coating that is completely useless. I was told nothing but lies about the capability of the ceramic coat. It has not stopped anything from scratching my vehicle including WOOD. I have called multiple times to voice my concerns and have been completely blown off. I have been told "oh it's a 7 on the hardness level" which I don't believe she has any idea of what that means. Cause if that was true it wouldn't be getting scratches from wood (which is a 4). Either the curing or thickness applied was wrong. Neither of which they are interested in hearing...this place has been nothing but let down after let down. read more

No hesitation recommending Cool Auto. We took in two worn, smelly cars and came home with beautiful, clean and shiny cars, inside and out! I'm thrilled with the results. Also, it was very easy contacting the owner. She spent a lot of patient time with me, going over the various options they offered and what it might take to get out my grandson's sour milk. We got in at the appointed time with no waiting and the cars were finished early. Thanks so much for the great service. read more

Same as before. I am loving this place. So I went back a few weeks ago to get a proper interior detail before I housed the car in a garage for a few months. Man it's so nice. The leather seats were more soft, the wear-n-tear I put in the driver's seat disappeared, IT SMELLED REALLY NICE, and they even went to town in the back/trunk area. For the last few years I'd collected some bicycle greases and lubricants (I swear they're for my bicycles) and they just collected and mushed together in an enclosed plastic 'cup' in the back of the SUV. Not two cups, just one cup. Over time the cup became a waste pit in the back corner that collected everything from a 10mm socket (I know, I cried too), many hearing aid batteries, a Twinkie wrapper and some other stuff. Before dropping off the car I cleaned it out. Hell, I even sprayed it with Windex cuz that'll clean everything! Wrong. It was still a little sticky and annoying to me. I didn't say anything to Cool Auto. But the interior was immaculate. WHen I got back in the car they made a small pile of stuff they found they thought I'd want. Including a military challenge coin I got in Afghanistan in 2003 that I swear I'd lost last year. How nice did it smell? Well, it no longer smelled like me so that's a huge win in my book. Again, thank you Cool Auto. read more

We received the ultimate detail from Cool Auto! From here on out we will only trust them with all of our vehicles!

Great service, attitude and results. I got tired of the shoddy job done at the main chain carwash company and thought I'd try to step it up a bit to get the car looking great. I have a Jeep and the exterior was quite muddy and the interior hadn't been attended to for a while. (that chain,Mister... once refused to clean my car because it was too muddy, insisting that I wash it first at home and then bring it in). Anyway, the team at Cool Auto Detail got me in quickly and did an outstanding job...just as clean and polished (maybe better) than when it was new. Yes, it takes longer and costs more than that chain but I think it is very well worth it! read more

They provide good service a bit higher priced but job gets done right and staff is good.

I want to "Thank" the entire team at Cool Auto! I especially want to say "Thank You, Ruben!" Ruben was faced with a SUV that sat in Mexicali for 5 1/2 months while being repaired after an accident. The vehicle was covered in dust, inside and out. There was also overspray on the entire body. Ruben tackled the job and my SUV now looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor. I can tell all the employees take pride in their work. Cassandra, you have great employees! read more

I left the oil filler cap off and showered my engine compartment. It was horrible. They got me in right away and got it cleaned up quickly for a reasonable price. My engine compartment was spotless. There was some paint damage that wasn't there beforehand, but I couldn't be 100% sure it happened there. And it's a risk you take with pressure washing. And they were quick to recommend a place to fix it. The staff was really nice and the waiting area is comfortable. Would I use them again? Yes. They've been really great with follow up. So I feel like they have the personal touch down pat. read more

Amazing service! Would highly recommend! Friendly Professional service and my vehicle looks like new.

I got my car cleaned last year for a whopping $200ish and was greatly disappointed. My seats were still soaked hours later, and the inside ceiling of my car wasn't cleaned at all. I was so upset that I called and complained about it and I just got told to go back in so they could take care of it-mind you after my car had been there a whole business day. Unacceptable, was a waste of money and wouldn't go back again. read more

They are marvelous and your vehicle will never look better!! The folks are professional and helpful.

We stopped for two nights in Tucson after nine days on the road, and our car was pretty bug-decorated. Since our hotel room wasn't ready, we took a chance that we could get an exterior hand wash, since our SUV's roof carrier precluded our going through most automatic car washes. I called Cool Auto around 1:30 on a Friday afternoon to ask if they could squeeze us in while we were in town. Come by in an hour they said. Two hours later we had a beautifully clean car looking as it did when we drove it off the Lexus lot a year and a half ago. The crew here is thorough and all business and they do a spot-on job. We waited in air conditioned comfort that suited our pooch as well. We love businesses like this that take their work seriously, are proud of what they do, and offer great quality for the price. read more

I just got my 2005 Pathfinder back from Cool Auto at 1641 W. Prince for a full detail, inside and out. All I can say is wow... they exponentially exceeded my expectations!! We have had the truck for 13 years. And I would say I am definitely an above average maintenance and care for my vehicle kind of guy. But 13 years of wear and tear creates a lot. It looks and feels almost show room new. I was most impressed by the small details... The detail to the cupholders, vents, even the plastic surrounding the rear tail lights., Amazing!!! But the biggest issue, was on the passenger side. There were at least five or six swirl marks made from rubbing compound about seven or eight years ago... Nothing I ever did was able to get it out. They are now totally gone!!! I also had a very bad issue with a "guy" who did some body work on the truck. There was overspary everywhere and much of the drivers side doors and hood felt like sand paper... Now these same areas are smooth as glass and shiny!!! I am simply blown away. So if you are in need or want an amazing full detail on your vehicle, I could not recommend these guys more. Thank you Cool Auto!! The customer service and communication was also top notch! Every single person I dealt with was great! I WILL be back!! read more

I had a horrible incident whereby a catering tray I was carrying in my backseat was sealed inadequately and pig fat grease leaked all over my leather seats. Got hold of Cassandra via a couple emergency calls to get some help. She had me come in immediately to assess the damage as time was of the essence. After a speedy inspection and treatment to see if the seats were deeply damaged, I was on my way. They caught it in time to make what coulda been a HUGE job into a simple, quick cleanup. It took so little time, she didn't charge me...but rest assured, I'll be bringing all of my cars here for deep details when needed!!! Thanks Cassandra!!!! What a refreshing attitude and level of service!!!! read more
