Gabe is the Reason I'll Always Stay a Customer…read more Years ago, B&J Refrigeration earned my loyalty for life. One of their techs (coincidentally working next door) noticed I was having issues with my AC and offered to take a look. Turns out, a rattlesnake had crawled in, eaten a rat, died inside the unit, and the rat had chewed through some wiring. He diagnosed and fixed it on the spot -- that kind of service you just don't forget. Since then, Gabe has become my go-to technician. He's honest, sharp, and thorough. Every time he comes out, he brings not just professionalism, but solutions. I even had him service my commercial office in Tucson for years. Simply put: as long as Gabe works at B&J, I'll be a customer. Most recently, I had an issue resurface that Gabe had previously warned me to keep an eye on. When it came up again, I followed his guidance and isolated the cause -- a bad fan motor. When I called to schedule, I did hit some friction with the office (not everyone appreciates a homeowner diagnosing a problem, even one with engineering and patent experience). That part was frustrating. But thankfully, Gabe followed through, confirmed everything I suspected, and had the parts on hand to get me back up and running quickly. The company is lucky to have someone like Gabe -- people like him are the reason customers stick around, not policies or scripts. Thank you, Gabe, for always being the guy I can count on.

The unit that needed to be replaced was only 1.5 years old but was unfortuntately installed incorrectly by our contractor, whom we parted ways with for his incompetence. We had to start all over, but this way it's better because we have a warranty on the unit and we know exactly who installed it and the process with them was fairly seamless from start to finish. It's been over month since we replaced the unit and we haven't had any issues.

After five estimates from contractors in Tucson, I chose Covenant Aire not only because they gave me the best price, but Danny the owner was truly helpful with investigating our current issues. We just received two 5-ton Seer 17 units and one 3-ton Seer 16.5 unit made by Medea/Bosch. The quality of the Medea units, compared to the Ruud units was obvious. Instead the tubing rats nest inside the Ruud units, the Medea units are very clean and well constructed. The Medea units are both more compact and much quieter than our previous Ruud A/C units. The team from Covenant Aire was very professional and fixed up the mess left by my last A/C contractor. I cannot be happier or recommend any A/C contractor more highly than Covenant Aire! Covenant Aire also offers affordable 10-year service agreements to keep their products in top running condition.

We couldn't have been happier with the work and Arin & Daniel were awesome as was the crew. This year and to no fault of theirs I apparently didn't clean out my P trap drain well enough to remove some debris that had started to build up in the trap and caused the unit to shut down due to heavy condensation build-up that would have caused water damage had it not shut off. I had to call the 24 hour on call person who was very pleasant since I woke him out of bed in the middle of the night. He helped me get the unit going until we could call in the morning and schedule for someone to come out on a "Friday" and take a peek at the issue. Well as always Daniel shows up between 2 & 4 pm and resolves the issues in a few minutes. Daniel is awesome and what I appreciate about him the most and with all of the ACS team is that they will educate you as to what you problem is and they take their time. They are the best in communication between professional and customer and that says a lot about the superior quality of serves you get with ACS. The Rogers family has certainly done their due diligence in hiring the best of the best in HVAC repair. **** It should be noted that we found ACS by trial and failure with other HVAC companies (even the ones with local celebrity endorsement) and would NEVER want anyone to go through what we did trying to find the right company to service your HVAC unit. It's because of forums like Yelp & Facebook that allow the consumer to give an honest opinion of their experiences with local business like ACS.

He is preferably based on his namesake east side but will wander as far as midtown. I had several/varied projects needing attention - installation of a new dishwasher (and hauling away the old), installation of a kitchen sink garbage disposal (where there wasn't one at all), resolving a minor freezer issue (ice sheet forming at bottom, under the drawers) and replacing a strip of tile in front of the fireplace. All were completed A+ for a total of about $600 in labor, plus all the parts: $120 for the Costco disposal and another $100 in supplies (mortar, tile, grout, plumbing). This included a couple of 5 gallon buckets and a small circular tile saw blade (all of which I let Jason keep). Because the mortar needed to dry for at least 24 hours before grouting, the project spanned two Sundays... yes the man is his own boss and regularly works 6+ days/week. He's good about messaging too but sometimes cannot respond until evening... like 8pm. That never bothered me and my replies frankly encouraged it, Lol. I am a solid fan of the guy however do be aware he smokes the occasional cigarette but (on his own) always does so outside and never "in the middle" of a task, only during logical breaks (completion of disposal, completion of mortaring, etc.). I mention this only because I have an aunt who is actually allergic to cigarette smoke. Besides the reasonable/reliable and very experienced qualities, I think my favorite is that he doesn't mind you shadowing and (enthusiastically) explains any wrinkles or issues he spots as he's working, oftentimes the fault of the previous installer. Bonus, he warrants his work for a year.
