I've come to Happy Bites since they've opened in Tinley Park and have even visited some of their…read moreother locations. It has been a bit now since I visited and sadly was disappointed in my experience. I called ahead to order so pick up would be easier. The staff member was having a difficult time understanding me but we got my order in and everything seemed clear! When we went to pick up our food, we noticed the inside wasn't super clean and they had fans on in both eating areas. The woman at the register helped a couple of others before calling me up so I could pay for our order. There was no confirmation of items just my name. When our food was ready, they were missing the small french fry. She immediately got defensive saying she didn't charge me for it and I could pay still. Another staff from the back came out and also chimed in. I was happy to pay for the fry but everything is made to order so we had to wait a bit. The food here is very good. The wings weren't as crispy as normal but that could have been from the wait. Overall, there could be some service improvements made and better communication among staff.

There was no option for cash or no tip. I would have liked to tip in cash rather than forced to choose a percentage. Their menu is basic: Hamburgers, cheeseburgers and bacon burgers. They offer basic fries and then two other styles with bleu cheese and other toppings. The menu does not explain what is included with each requiring a conversation with their staff. It's not the most elaborate of menus'. Most burgers range $13 - $15 dollars. If you've caught reviews of the amphitheater, you are already aware that their costs are high. Most food vendors offer food in this same price range. Some nights ago I was attending the Nathaniel Radcliffe / Kings of Leon show. It was getting dark and Kings were up next. Hitting the food vendors as musicians tested their instruments is the best time to avoid crowds. Cooking took a few minutes but we had our food in hand as the band took the stage. Burgers had a nice char smell to them. Fluffy buns that were toasted with shredded lettuce and some kind of salad dressing or aioli. Additional condiments were kept on the side of the food vendor. Looks as if this condiment station is shared by all food vendors(?) Not sure about this but since others weren't refilling their condiments this vendor's station was getting janked! Ketchup was out and the area was dirtied from the massive usage with hardly anyone cleaning up the area and refilling. Some patrons commented that the condiments were refilled but not enough to feed the demand. They have to figure this out and work on it. Reading reviews of the amphitheater, patrons are not happy with management and how services are provided. A meal of some kind with a booze beverage can run approx $30 per person. How was the burger? Decent. We sat in the field on a blanket. It was already dark and they shutoff the floodlight overlooking our area. Eating in the dark, I didn't care much what I was shoveling. The shredded lettuce worked when paired with mustard and ketchup. It was like the burger was made to work with Heinz. But the quantity could have been more. The menu didn't say whether it was a 1/4 lb or 1/2. If having light, a side of some kind would satiate hunger. Bag of chips or plain fries. When it's hard to see, why buy fries with complicated or messy toppings. Whereas with daylight, go nuts!

Love the burgers there. I've always gotten my meal correct, and good service. What is stopping it form being a 5 star is 1. once in a blue moon I'll get a tomato that taste weird. Almost sour and I would have to take it off my burger. 2. The fries are not that good. They need to salt them more or add something because they have no taste. I explained to her that my daughter still wanted the food, Her solution was for me to come back to location and reorder the food, I explained to her that I was coming 20 mins away and it would be helpful if the order could be placed now to expedite my order, She told me no, because they don't have time they have customers. Mind you these are customers who paid after me. Also, just the unprofessionalism of calling them customers to me insinuating that I was no longer a customer because they already had my money. I asked a couple of times thinking there was a misunderstanding, which angered her enough to ask if I wanted a refund? Totally blown away with lack of professionalism displayed I said Yes, I'll take a refund. She proceeded to process the refund asking me several questions and putting me on hold. Maybe taking several mins, so long I was nearly back at the restaurant. I than brought up the fact that time its taking to process the refund the order couldve been placed again, to which she replied. I told you I can't take your order and hung up the phone in my face. I could not believe it I would have just turned around and went home, not sure if she said it and I didn't remember or just another occasion of unprofessionalism by not saying your name. She handed me a card with no corporate number. Not wanting to press the issue further because how unstable she reacted I took the card and left before she further escalated the situation. Her attitude is the type that lead to late night waffle house brawls between the employees and the customers. She does not understand that she is simply the manager her actions should be in line with corporate standard. I truly do not believe these formats matter it's a digital complaint box for you to relieve your anger and no real accountability will be dealt to the employee. But l do plan to copy and paste this narrative and post it on every review page I can find. Hopefully Shake Shack realizes that there is something to be learned from your competition. Please go study Chick fila and institute their customer service polices. Until than no more $35 burgers for me, I'll take my business to Culver' half the price none of the attitude of Manager Marianna Dickey at Shake Shack Oak Lawn

I add in the hot relish and a line of honey mustard and a line of chipotle mayo. I put banana peppers and jalapeños on the side so I can adjust and control the tang and spice depending on how much hot relish and sauce they put on the sub. It's delicious but MESSY and if you wait too long it can get way soggy. I haven't had it toasted yet, I keep forgetting, but I think that will probably help. The service is awesome and quick. I highly recommend the location!

After waiting more than 25 minutes with no food or update, we went inside around 6:20 PM to check on our order. We were told it was still not ready and that it would be brought to our curbside spot when finished. We returned to our vehicle and continued waiting. Our order was finally brought out at 6:45 PM--51 minutes after we arrived. What made the experience even more frustrating was watching another customer who arrived approximately 20 minutes after us receive her curbside order before ours. There was no explanation for the delay, no estimated completion time, and no meaningful communication. I understand restaurants can get busy, but waiting 51 minutes for a mobile curbside order while customers who arrived much later are served first is unacceptable. This completely defeats the purpose of ordering ahead and selecting curbside pickup. I would appreciate an explanation and appropriate resolution from Culver's.
