Pub burger - A burger with a toasted bun topped with black sesame seeds and small bits of seasoning. The burger contains melted cheese and a beef patty, with some of the cheese visible beneath the bun. The burger is placed on a plate, and the image captures the details of the bun's texture and toppings.

#2/2024 My Culver's near me. All it's one of the newer ones over a few years old it's definitely stepped up its game the quality has gotten much better. When it first opened the first even 6 months it really wasn't worth a damn The franchisee seems to be taking a lot of pride in it and the quality is quite well I've had quite a few sandwiches from here off and on when I'm home. It's clean for the most part the employees are quite cordial and they do a pretty good job making sure everything is accurate keep up the good work.

A clear plastic cup of frozen yogurt with a blue spoon inserted, topped with cashew nuts. The cup has a logo that reads 'Culver's' and is being held by a person inside a vehicle, with the dashboard and part of the person's hand visible.

Decent burgers, fries, and onion rings. Lots of frozen custard selections. Fast service and friendly staff.

Bad burger - A partially eaten burger with a bun, onions, and other ingredients is placed on a blue tray. The tray contains a paper liner and a printed sheet with images and text. The burger appears to have a bun top, onions, and possibly other fillings. The background includes a paper with a landscape image and some printed text.

It's a little place reminds me of the "corner tavern" in Chicago where I grew up. A few tables and a bar. Clean place, music low so people can talk, couple of TVs with the Cubs and Sox playing. The menu is simple burgers, hot dog, sandwiches, etc and of course a menu for beers and wines. The Nick burger is a pound hamburger and little nick is a half a pound, I would recommend they add a NICK JR. Or Nicolette 1/4 lb. because I could not finish the little nick!!! In this Ozempic world got to think smaller! I wanted to finish that hamburger but man o man, no way! Hands down the best hamburger! I said it! Fresh not frozen, hand pressed! They don't sell fries, I didn't even miss them. The hamburger comes with a bag of chips! The hamburger came with pickles, they can give us half of the amount because that's a lot of pickles! Reasonable price which is unheard of these days! CASH ONLY! So go to the bank first!!! The waitress was very nice! A little bit of wait to get our food but in a hurried world it was just fine! We will go back! I heard the Italian beef is very good will give that a go! But that hamburger was juicy and little crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked. Bravo! Give it a go!!!

She was so sweet, service with a smile. We started with a couple of their handcrafted cocktails. Hubby had tonight's special drink, a Gold Rush. I had the sister to a Gold Rush, a Bees Knees. It's just a matter of bourbon vs gin. Both are refreshing cocktails made with honey and lemon. We shared the Spanish octopus to begin, a perfectly grilled octopus tentacle in a romesco sauce topped with pico de gallo and toasted almonds. We thoroughly enjoyed it. A generous portion and so tender. Hubby had the Saturday night special, the smoked prime rib. It came with grilled vegetables and truffle fries. He had this speciality last time. This time it was so fatty (see photo). I had the grouper puttanesca with couscous. I love grouper but I felt it was salty. With capers and anchovy, the fish didn't need salt as these things bring salt to the dish. However, our entrees were generous in size and tasty. We definitely like this restaurant. They have a loyalty program, plenty of seating inside and out, a nice bar area and a Vegas-style gaming room. Phoenix Kitchen even nixed using seed oil at their restaurant. We did miss out on the complimentary house-made limoncello this time. What's up with that?!

When we arrived, the place felt empty, which was surprising given that it was Columbus Day and many people were off of work and school. Our waitress was friendly and checked in on us frequently, and the dining room was clean, but the food was just mediocre. We started with bruschetta ($10) and cheese curds ($11) for appetizers. When the cheese curds arrived, we were pretty confused because they looked more like chicken tenders than cheese curds. They were greasy, puffy, and barely had any cheese inside. They didn't taste good at all, so one of my friends let the waitress know we didn't like them, and she took them back without issue. The bruschetta was much better and made with fresh ingredients, but it lacked flavor despite the freshness. We did finish these, though. For my entrée, I kept it simple and ordered six chicken tenders ($10) with a side of BBQ sauce. They were decent--crispy and well-cooked--but lacked any real standout flavor or seasoning. As for my friends, they were generally pleased with their meals. One ordered the crispy chicken sandwich ($14), which she enjoyed, though she was disappointed she didn't realize she could have added sauce. The waitress hadn't asked if she wanted any, and my friend must have missed this on the menu, so a reminder would have been helpful. My friend did like the sandwich's crispy texture, though. My other friend had the Cajun pasta ($12), which she liked a lot. It had a nice spicy kick and came with two pieces of garlic bread. All in all, I don't think I'd rush back here. The menu has a lot of options, and the prices are reasonable, but nothing we had stood out enough to make me want to return.
