    Basically half a scoop...pathetic.

Oops, I forgot to avoid this location cuz the custard scoops are so skimpy. This was the smallest yet, and missing the chocolate syrup shown on the photo. The bottom HALF of the serving cup wasn't even full. Seriously, WTH man? At least the onion ring order was good but the place is about CUSTARD. Are they telling the workers if they give a decent portion it's coming out of their wages? Not cool.

#2/2024 My Culver's near me. All it's one of the newer ones over a few years old it's definitely stepped up its game the quality has gotten much better. When it first opened the first even 6 months it really wasn't worth a damn The franchisee seems to be taking a lot of pride in it and the quality is quite well I've had quite a few sandwiches from here off and on when I'm home. It's clean for the most part the employees are quite cordial and they do a pretty good job making sure everything is accurate keep up the good work.

Decent burgers, fries, and onion rings. Lots of frozen custard selections. Fast service and friendly staff.

Phoenix…read moreKitchen describes themselves as a modern upscale casual dining experience, serving locally sourced new American cuisine. Erica took great care of us this evening. She was so sweet, service with a smile. We started with a couple of their handcrafted cocktails. Hubby had tonight's special drink, a Gold Rush. I had the sister to a Gold Rush, a Bees Knees. It's just a matter of bourbon vs gin. Both are refreshing cocktails made with honey and lemon. We shared the Spanish octopus to begin, a perfectly grilled octopus tentacle in a romesco sauce topped with pico de gallo and toasted almonds. We thoroughly enjoyed it. A generous portion and so tender. Hubby had the Saturday night special, the smoked prime rib. It came with grilled vegetables and truffle fries. He had this speciality last time. This time it was so fatty (see photo). I had the grouper puttanesca with couscous. I love grouper but I felt it was salty. With capers and anchovy, the fish didn't need salt as these things bring salt to the dish. However, our entrees were generous in size and tasty. We definitely like this restaurant. They have a loyalty program, plenty of seating inside and out, a nice bar area and a Vegas-style gaming room. Phoenix Kitchen even nixed using seed oil at their restaurant. We did miss out on the complimentary house-made limoncello this time. What's up with that?!

SIBLING HANGOUT!!! I…read morehad this place on my list of places to go, and finally, I had an opportunity. It is really visually pleasing in this establishment. VERY spacious, and you wouldn't think that from looking at the building in the parking lot. I will say this OFF TOP, I will be back. This place appears to have lots to offer, and I want in on the good stuff. They have party rooms, a massive bar and plenty of seating for friends, foes and the family. Adorable decor, but also simple. Its a bar/pub friends! Let's get to the sips and bites shall we! I ordered a cranberry and vodka. When it came, it was dang near clear, so I knew that would be my only sip for the evening and some water. lol We ordered starters/apps: Chicken Wings and Cheese Curds. Simple, tasty, hot and the service was SWIFT BABY SWIFT! Entree: I ordered Fish tacos. I had my fingers and toes crossed hoping they were going to be amazing. No sir, no ma'am. Flavorless. They looked great though. I ate half of one and gave to my sib for take home bites. I blame me, I should have ordered something safe, like a burger or something easy peasy. Sis ordered a Patty Melt with fries. Looked good, she stated it tasted amazing. Winner, winner, burger dinner! Bro order a couple things: Chicken Tenders and fries and a Quesadilla. He stated his items were delicious. We sat, ate, sipped and enjoyed the space. I would absolutely recommend this establishment for friend/family gatherings, or popping in for sips and wings. They have an assortment of homemade sips and eats, and their menu is pretty large. If anything, I will be back to try more options of things. Simple grub! Great location and friendly staff! As always, you don't have to take my word for it, go get you some!

It was 5:45, I didn't have a reservation, a they didn't have a table available until 7:30 but there were spots at the bar which they said was full service. My friend and I cozied up to it and ate there. What a surprisingly good experience. The staff was super friendly and that bartenders had great suggestions. I hate when people at the restaurant say everything is good. Not these young ladies. They made some sound suggestions which we followed. French onion soup and the steak frites were both excellent and priced well IMO. They have a really good whiskey/bourbon selection with a few hard to find bottles. I settled on a Blantons neat. They had Pappy, but I'm not wasting money on that anymore. Food came out quickly and we ate and watched a baseball game. The locals at the bar told us about their membership program where I guess for a small mo they fee you get a bottle of wine and a charcuterie plate once a month. Seemed like a pretty good deal. I don't live anywhere near there, but if I did I'd certainly join. In any case, if you live anywhere close, this is definitely a worthwhile restaurant to visit. Seems like there were quite a few singles there as well if you are looking to meet someone. I have no idea what the dating scene is like in Lemont, but this might be a good spot to try.

The food is honestly the best thing about this spot; the vibes aren't quite right for a special date night, but might be perfect for a birthday party or girls night out and service can either be hit or miss. If you come here, definitely make a night of it in downtown Lemont - there's lots to explore, whether for a nightcap or dessert after Barrel & Vine to turn it into a night.

When we arrived, the place felt empty, which was surprising given that it was Columbus Day and many people were off of work and school. Our waitress was friendly and checked in on us frequently, and the dining room was clean, but the food was just mediocre. We started with bruschetta ($10) and cheese curds ($11) for appetizers. When the cheese curds arrived, we were pretty confused because they looked more like chicken tenders than cheese curds. They were greasy, puffy, and barely had any cheese inside. They didn't taste good at all, so one of my friends let the waitress know we didn't like them, and she took them back without issue. The bruschetta was much better and made with fresh ingredients, but it lacked flavor despite the freshness. We did finish these, though. For my entrée, I kept it simple and ordered six chicken tenders ($10) with a side of BBQ sauce. They were decent--crispy and well-cooked--but lacked any real standout flavor or seasoning. As for my friends, they were generally pleased with their meals. One ordered the crispy chicken sandwich ($14), which she enjoyed, though she was disappointed she didn't realize she could have added sauce. The waitress hadn't asked if she wanted any, and my friend must have missed this on the menu, so a reminder would have been helpful. My friend did like the sandwich's crispy texture, though. My other friend had the Cajun pasta ($12), which she liked a lot. It had a nice spicy kick and came with two pieces of garlic bread. All in all, I don't think I'd rush back here. The menu has a lot of options, and the prices are reasonable, but nothing we had stood out enough to make me want to return.
