Stopped for after-school snacks. Everyone was satisfied with their selection. The custard is creamy and delicious. Our cashier was Carlos; he separated the two fruits to accommodate my fussy grandson and followed up with us at the table to see if we were enjoying our desserts. Very impressed with the customer service here, especially Carlos for his patience with us being first-timers and follow-thru, and with the cleanliness of the restaurant. I love this place! This franchise is all over the Great Lakes region. It is a step up from your typical fast food, both for their meals and their desserts. Their speciality is their butter burgers. Basically they are great burgers on a lightly buttered bun. They are good, if not rich. They have other meals, too. They have catfish, fried chicken, chicken fingers--that kind of thing. For someone like me, though, the reason to go to Culver's is the frozen custard. It is so good. They have a bunch of different kind of sundaes and shakes, or you can just get a cone. Who doesn't like a friendly staff that delivers your order to your table? Oh, forget it. Culvers is a transplant fast food burger joint that has that "land of dairy" feel. Custards for desert, butter burgers, I wouldn't be too surprised if the fries were cooked in butter. I like to order a side of butter just to flex my awesome American consumer muscles. I try not to over do it, and the fact that this place is really far from where I live is a good thing. I almost forgot, they have fried cheese curds here which aren't at all bad. Inside is somewhat 'greasy', but that's to be expected in a burger joint. Better than fast food burgers and actually lower in calories and healthier than most burger places...hard to imagine with the menu items but it is! I have eaten at Culvers several times, the first when I lived in Olathe, KS several years ago. Back then - it was a huge NO! The "butter burgers" were actually swimming in butter. Fast forward to recently. We have visited this particular location on a number of occasions and I must say BRAVO! I tried the butter burger and was pleased!! I have also tried the Pork loin sandwich and my wife has had the chicken sandwich and the butter burger (on different occasions). Both time, we have been very pleased! I went here to spend some quality time with my family after we all had a long day at work. We had heard about their great customer service and were excited to try their Pumpkin shakes, but upon our arrival we were throughly disappointed by their lack of customer care and attention to detail. We went to the drive-thru and as soon as we tried to order there were no basic greetings and the employee taking our order was less than helpful and rushed us to make a decision despite us mentioning that we have not been to the restaurant in several years. While an odd encounter, I was ready to let it slide because I didn't know what kind of day that employee was having and I didn't want to make a scene out of nothing. However, even as we pulled up to the window to pay (over $45 for four burgers!) there was still no basic customer service and when we asked simple questions we were greeted with rude and brisk answers, and did not receive a single "thank you" or "have a good evening" from ANY employee. I could understand this lack of attention to detail if the place was packed, but there was only a few cars in the drive-thru and barely anybody in the lobby. I could not believe the absolutely terrible service we received--especially since we paid almost $50! I will not be returning to this location in the future and will not be recommending it to anybody who prefers to be treated like a customer instead of a nuisance. read more

Culver's is really good for a drive thru restaurant. Every time I go there, they are very very friendly and the customer service is great!. We get the double deluxe butter burger, cheese curds, root beer and cement mixers. I grew up with Culvers in WI and it's been a long time sense I've been back to one. They still have the same buttery soaked burgers and sub par fries that are never cooked all the way and are at most like flacid limp potatoes that are kind of sad to be honest. The cheese curds are good and as close as I can get to the ones I remeber from being at home, but if you let them sit they get kind of rubbery. The burger is great though I can't eat a double anymore (which is probably healthier for me anyways) and their custard is always great too. the "two scoop" sundaes are really good but almost too much! Those are big scoops, all in all now that they are closer I may make the occasional trip there to eat but probably no more then normal. read more

Decided to go to Culver's today after work. Went through the drive through. Ordered a butter burger. My toppings I asked for were: ketchup, mayonnaise, pickle, onion.
