This place was on the "must eat at" list that my husband made when we went for a quick weekend to St. George. Apparently, they are a midwest food establishment. I thought the butter burger was tasty. Culvers had a huge menu, many things to choose from. What my daughter had was the buffalo chicken strips which were super hot and tasty and juicy. The fries were crispy and paired with the fry sauce, very good. I received an original culvers burger with cheese, the patty you could tell is hand made in the store, along with their original hand made ice cream. The ice cream is rich and delicious. We stopped here because I used to live in the Midwest and when I saw a Culver's I got really excited! I immediately wanted a butter burger and some deep fried cheese curds. The food was okay. Definitely NOT like the Culver's in Illinois or Wisconsin. The taste was there but the buns were awful. I'm not sure what happened but when I got mine it was smashed beyond recognition. I had to go up and ask for a new bun otherwise my burger would have fallen apart. Besides the food, the place is clean and they have nice restrooms. I wish there was some way to rate the food and management separately because the management and the attitudes of the employees are awful. They act miserable and look it. They were rude when I asked for a new bun after I showed them how flat mine was. I think if I do come back I'll just skip the dining room and go through the drive through. read more

I don't hand out 5 stars often, Culvers gets pretty close. My experience was great. My bacon burger was great. My chocolate malt was too thick, but I won't hold that against them (Malts should be drinkable). I look forward to coming back for an excellent burger and fries. read more

I live right by culvers, me and my friend go there a lot. we always get the same order we always have a gluten-free burgers and fries, and usually a milk shake. 5 times out of 10 we won't get our fries, or we won't get a gluten free bun and we get a regular burger that we can't even eat. Or we will get a plain cheese burger and get lettuce, tomato and ketchup on it. Our order won't be the same as what the recite says. On the other hand, stuff is usually super sweet. The food is good when it comes out right, and the wait isn't long at all. I'd just suggest to check your bag before you leave the restaurant. (Also I'd you get a gluten free cheese burger they usually put the cheese face down in the box and the cheese sticks to the paper leaving you with just a patty. So get a double patty or as for it to be right side up) read more

Cashier was rude. They don't know how to organize a line, so no one can see the menu until they get to the cashier, which causes serious delay. Very poor customer service. Second cashier came over because the line was out the door (bear in mind, it was maybe six people in line--shouldn't have been out the door), took one order, and then walked away. First time in Utah. Folks are super friendly. We got some great recommendations by the server. Burgers are unique. Meat is fresh and hardy but not like your traditional patty. Still, great tasting. Custard with cookie dough? Why not! This was a plus. This along with the cheese curds. Them cheese curds are good! Never had tried these and they were pleasantly good. Have never tried Culver's before today but saw that their menu had "Wisconsin Cheese Curds" & ever since road tripping through Wisconsin I have been on the hunt for cheese curds that could compare to the real thing. I was pleasantly surprised to say they are the closest I've had to the iconic Wisconsin Original Cheese Curds. Definitely a must try if you haven't yet, the menu is a bit pricey compared to other fast-food restaurants but the quality makes up for the price. BTW frozen custard far surpasses any soft serve ice cream. read more

The food was pretty good, I would say it was above average. But the owner impressed me the most and made me want to come back. There was a cashier that was clearly very new, probably his first day. Some of his coworkers were getting slightly frustrated with how slow the new worker was working, but the owner went out of his way to make sure to just encourage the new worker and help him kept learning. On other occasions I've tried going inside and THEY SCREWED THE ORDERS UP. From the drive through, they act as if they are extremely busy, so busy it's a wonder they can even process your order, or SAY THANK YOU. Well this must have been the weekend of poor customer service at Culvers, Saint George. I just read a review from someone that went there Friday, and actually had a confrontation with the owner. (Tiffani A--Hooper, Utah) This is no surprise considering our experience on Saturday (4-7-18). We show up after the Garden show down the street with a party of 7. The line was crazy, and the place was packed. We finally found a table, and two of us stayed in line to order. First issue? You don't get your receipt until they bring the food!!! You can not check immediately to make sure the person got the order correct (and they didn't) until it is actually delivered to the table. Too late!!! Second issue? From the time we sat down to the time our food was delivered............40 minutes! This is with a 2 year old and an 82 year old. Neither of them eager to sit and wait for 40 minutes. Third issue? Order wrong. They missed a whole combo that was ordered, and still didn't have onion rings to complete the combos they DID bring! When the rings did come, burgers were gone. Fourth issue? When we finally got someone to acknowledge the order was incorrect, it WAS the owner spoken of in the previous review. This man did finally help us, but what an attitude. It is not the customer's fault that the staff is poorly trained and making multiple mistakes. He seemed extremely aggravated and frustrated. Understood. But not our problem. We pay for service and food. It is your job and responsibility as an owner to make sure you have the staff to deliver. Not ours. Finally all of our orders were done and delivered. Food was decent, service was some of the worst we have ever experienced. The staff at the counter really acted like "oh well", and we left thinking we may never come back. Saint George is a lovely place to live, and the food choices are amazing. We do NOT have to return to a place that doesn't seem to value our patronage, or take the time to properly train their staff. We watched a young girl get on the phone and yell at someone for the doors being unlocked. Then she walked over to is and said she couldn't serve us and we would have to leave. When we asked for the manager she did she was the manager. We told her that the doors were unlocked and she argued with us about the doors being locked. She was just downright rude. My wife and I stopped in on Sunday morning, around 10am. No other customers were there. We waited in the drive thru for at least a minute. No one greeted us. As someone who used to work in fast food, a minute wait is way too long in a drive thru. I went inside. There was an employee sitting on a bench who greeted me. No other employee was out by the counter. I could see a few in the kitchen, but no one acknowledged me. They probably didn't know I was there, and short of yelling/going back into the kitchen, they wouldn't have. Finally, the guy on the bench gets up and helps me out. While he's making our drinks, another employee comes out, but doesn't register that I was waiting. I asked the employee who did help me if the drive thru was open, and he said it was supposed to be. Other than this guy helping me out, I don't know if I'll come back. They were open for 2 hours already; service was mediocre. read more

This place is amazing!Burgers were decent size with a buttery bun! Everything was fresh! The fries were crinkle cut but crispy and hot!The cheese curds were perfect.I usually get these at other places and they are like rubber balls..Not these..They were a perfect texture with tasty Wisconsin cheese like no other...I also ordered a cheese sauce that was comparable to Arby's to dip my fries but this sauce was way better with a distinctive cheesy taste again like no other..The service was also amazing..super polite!The wait was short which was surprising because everything is made to order! Needless to say I will be coming back ! I am just sad that this isn't in Vegas yet!Maybe I'll buy one! THAT'S HOW GOOD THIS PLACE IS!
