I had a very pleasant experience yesterday when picking up our food. As my daughter and I were waiting in line, the super sweet Hispanic lady (im sorry I didn't get your name!) that was helping the rest of the crew greeted us with the biggest smile (brownie points already!). When she called our order my daughter ran up to the counter and she asked if she liked milkshakes. My daughter smiled and nodded her head and the sweet lady gave her a chocolate milk shake. I tried to order milkshakes last week and the week before and same excuse the milkshake machine is broke. You would think that by now the machine would be fixed. Got a single Cheeseburger, fries and a strawberry shake. The shake machine finally worked. Paid a ridiculous $21 for the meal. The cheeseburger's meat patty didn't even cover the bun. Ate 3/4 of the burger and ran out of meat! Threw out the rest. The fries were overcooked and dripping with oil. Actually looked at the fry machine oil and saw it was seriously brown. Five Guys St George We stopped here at 10 PM because we were a little hungry but did not want to spend a lot of money or time. We came in and they were getting ready to close for the night by sweeping etc; I am not a huge burger eater, and the cashier helped me find out what I would like to eat that wasn't a hamburger. I ended up getting the BLT with pickles and it was amazing. The bacon was crispy and the sandwich was loaded with toppings.I loved that it came on a hamburger bun because it kept all of the ingredients inside better. My husband got the burger the Five Guys way and he really loved it. I don't necessarily like that you have to order everything separate, and when we got our meal all of the fries were just put on the bottom of the bag, no container or anything. But we were really happy with our late night snack and will return!! read more

Which made it very difficult to get my mouth around that big boy (hee hee hee). The fries are homemade and still have bits of potato skin on them (hey you need your vitamins too, right?). Not really a complaint, just something that could be improved. They cooked all my sandwiches, THEN dropped the fries afterwards, increasing the wait. It isn't rocket science to coordinate these things better. Cleanliness, under the prep table, around the coke fountain, and a couple of tables, was not as expected. Not a bad experience. I was pretty underwhelmed with my experience here. They are COVID friendly, and I love the efforts they put in to ensure the safety of their customers. However the customer service was awful. The workers were very rude, asking for anything felt like I was pulling their teeth out. I got a lettuce wrap and they wrapped it in way too much lettuce that I couldn't even taste the burger. I'm not happy with them this time because they screwed up my order (and I didn't realize it til we were several miles down the road). I ordered a Little Burger w/ BBQ sauce, grilled mushrooms and jalapenos. What I got was...onions instead or mushrooms.... I HATE onions. No big deal, right? Just pick them off... I tried... except they were grilled and when hot they glued themselves to the bun. And I didn't realize the jalapenos would be raw / fresh... yikes. That was my bad. So... I call in my order and I am told my order will be ready when I arrive. I walk and tell give the young man my name and tell him I called in my order. I pay, the top of my receipt has my name. I gave the young man the exact amount for my order. He ends up giving me back change. I then wait almost 10 minutes watching other orders being served. I finally walk up and show my receipt. We came in September 29, 2022 and it was cleanest the place had ever been there was one older gentleman cleaning and he did a fantastic job! I usually avoid this place because it is always sticky and the floors are usually dirty but today everything was wiped clean and the floors were constantly getting cleaned! I add Five Guys to my list of favorite fast foods. I rate on cleanliness, cost, value, service, quality of food. This chain is known for the limited number of items on the menu. The key is the regular patty or the junior. With all toppings free it is best to start out with the junior. Small fries are alot! Don't go in with your usual fast food order in your head. Downsize. I might have been lucky, but this place has always been clean...including restrooms. Servers & order takers cheerful, and busy cleaning up when not taking orders. Must be a manager on duty or they are well paid. No peanut shells or skins on the floor. The only mess you will see is the brown paper bag that absorbe mlthe grease from your take out order. Goes with the ambiance. Small junior burger with small fries and new shake (just added to menu) which is almost $5 alone brought my order to almost $15. I will send the homeless somewhere else for a meal. This isn't even affordable with 2 adults and (throw in) 2 kids. This was lunch! I think this is too much! Better value meals around town. There are some top notch burger places (not fast food) that have excellent quality of meat/food that can beat this price. I sincerely hope these employees are being paid well!
