It's a Culvers so you know what to expect food-wise but I've had some poor interactions with the staff at this location over the years I've lived near it. Always check your order before you leave the drive through, including your drink. Their dining room has been closed for a long time and because of that if it's wrong you can't go inside to get it fixed and the drive through line can be massive. Really wish they'd put a cone in front of the door or a clear sign on the door for when the dining room is closed so people don't repeatedly park, walk to the doors, and have to pull on them to find out they're locked. read more

Custard is awesome and wayyyyyyy better than Dairy Queen. Burgers aren't bad for lunch, and the cheese curds can be delicious if they are fresh. They have snack packs that come with a small drink and small fry that run around $6. These are great deals for lunch. Service is spotty here though. I either get super friendly, or someone who clearly hates their life. Occasionally takes longer than it should, but overall a fan of the custard so I keep coming back. read more

Probably won't be back. Pulled up to the window and man who spoke seemed to be rushing me. I was just looking over the menu to make sure of everything. Also was asked if all the toppings that come on the double (one of my orders) was good. I said yes assuming it would be the lettuce, Mayo, and other included items. For my burger I asked for a butter burger with grilled onions. Didn't know it literally was just bun and meat. So I came home and called and they said it was build your own. Maybe I'm crazy but I found that odd that they'd ask about toppings on one but not the other. Lady who read order back at window was not very friendly either. There have multiple instances where older male workers have made inappropriate comments to young female colleagues and customers, creating an uncomfortable and very unprofessional working environment. Despite bringing these issues to the owners and managers, no significant action has been taken to address this behavior! I like Culver's. Their service is quality and the food is also quality. They have good burgers, but actually I enjoy their cod sandwiches better. The ice cream is fresh and creamy, while their concrete mixers are a great dessert. Price is reasonable and the drive through service is convenient and consistent. I guess the bloom is off the rose a bit. A year ago, when I told our Wisconsin friends that Culvers was opening restaurants down here, they collectively yawned. Now it's been almost a year since the PV store opened and maybe seven months for this location. Culver's still gets busy during lunch and dinner, but things have slowed down in a big way. Maybe it was just the Portillo's effect? Maybe. Culver's is basically a good frozen custard place that does a nice business with burgers and fries. Yes, there are Rubens and Chicken sandwiches as well, but they're known for their custards, which are delicious. On the hamburger front as I said they do a nice job... but... you knew there was going to be a but in here someplace right? Well, the hamburgers are.. greasy. I was here recently with some out of town friends and their napkins were soaked. One actually removed the top of the bun to tap it dry. So after nearly a year, I'll take a pass here and go back to my Animal Style. read more

Culver's is good. It's a chain from WI. I come here for the custard and cheese curds. When I was exiled to Wisconsin for 8 years, I'd go to Culvers for hot fudge sundaes when it was too far to drive to another one of the custard shops that has better custard/food. Their hot fudge is excellent. It's definitely too far to drive to WI now, so Culver's will do. The food is OK. The cheese curds are the best thing on the menu aside from the custard (I like them with Ranch dressing). Service has always been good. read more

I can't believe how dismissive this restaurant's managers horribly handled such an easy fix. Bottom line is that their corporate office was appalled by my mistreatment and how easily the local store could have rectified this minor issue. Corporate was apologetic and wants me to remain a customer. I'd watch yourself when dealing with these unethical store managers. Prior to the pandemic, Culver's was my favorite fast food place for years. Tonight, I had the worst burgers I have had in my life - that's no exaggeration. I ordered two burgers to go and did have an 8 minute drive home in 110 degree temp with the seat heater on. Don't want cold food when I eat. None of that worked. Buns we're still almost refrigerator cold. Lettuce and onion were refrigerator cold (not a bad thing). The slice of cheese was still refrigerator cold. The hamburger patty was a tad under room temperature, which was amazing since it was burned on both sides. The onion rings were good. Not only was the food crap, but the sanitation procedures are suspect. A female employee (no gloves on) touched and rubbed her face, then proceeded to pack orders of food for the drive through (no gloves on). Culver's gets one more chance before I abandon them forever. I normally do not mind Culver's, but this location was not my favorite. The staff seemed friendly and the restaurant was clean, but when my burger came out, it was a little cold and the top bun was dry. I don't like sending food back so I attempted eat it. But after a couple bites, I started to lose my appetite. I took my burger to the counter and explained that the bun was dry. Instead of making a new burger, he handed me a new bun to replace the dried out bun. No apology, no offer to make a fresh burger. This was my first time at a Culver's, and it kind of seems like the equivalent of a Dairy Queen with cement mixers instead of blizzards and burgers instead of hot dogs. Anyone else get this sense? Honestly, the ice cream menu seems to be lacking. You really just choose a basic ice cream flavor and add toppings, nothing special at all. I got vanilla ice cream with brownie bits which was tasty, but I just found the lack of selection odd. I have been coming to this location since it has opened, I had gone there on my way out of town there was a long line in the drive-through but I waited because I really had a taste for a Swiss mushroom burger. After they had me pull up to the side I waited quite a long time. This location used to be okay when it first opened, but it has since hit rock bottom these past few years. I went in today for a patty melt, cheese curds, and a vanilla concrete mixer. The food was pretty cold and my mixer was partially melted down already. The management/family that owns this place are a bunch of morons that will argue to no end with their customers instead of at least TRY to make things right.
