Stopped in this morning to use a coupon and check this place out and I had the pleasure of being served by Ralph, what a sweetheart! Totally went above and beyond to recommend enhancements while optimizing cost! It's people like Ralphs that keep you coming back! The dining room was clean and spacious, there are a lot of walls that make people watching challenging but it was also a good separation from the counter area. I ordered the grilled chicken combo, add cheese, and a mint Oreo shake that I asked to pick up after I was done so that it wouldn't melt while I was eating. Both were great! I loved the softness of the bread, my only suggestion would be to heat it up a little more but not at the cost of the softness because I really did love the sandwich, the fries came out warm and crinkly which was delightful and loved the add-on of the cheese :) read more

Can't say I'm a fan. Nothing wrong with the service, but the food was just bland for me. To be fair, I had a veggie burger and onion rings. Burger was pretty tasteless and I'm eaten hundreds in my life. Onion rings were crunchy and resembled a more beer battered type which is good, but again, lacking flavor. My husband had the chicken fingers and broccoli, also fine. I'm from Orange County, California and my annual visit to Phoenix wouldn't be complete without coming to Culver's. Unfortunately, there's no Culver's in California, but maybe one day! I first tried Culver's over five years ago, drawn in by their reputation for cheese curds, and they haven't disappointed. I'm on a mission to try everything on the menu, they have an extensive menu for a fast-food joint. Here's what I've tried. Mushroom & Swiss Single ButterBurger $5.09 | The Culver's Bacon Deluxe Double ButterBurger $7.99 | Original Chicken Tenders 2 pc $3.99 | Buffalo Chicken Tenders 2 pc $3.99 | North Atlantic Cod Sandwich $6.99 | Small Crinkle Cut Fries $2.29 | Medium Wisconsin Cheese Curds $4.49 | Large Onion Rings $5.29 | Medium Chili Cheddar Fries $4.49 | Medium Mashed Potatoes $2.49 | Small Vanilla Concrete Mixer with Brownie Pieces $5.79 | 1 Scoop Chocolate Covered Strawberry Frozen Custard with Eli's Cheesecake Pieces $3.99. Standouts for me are the butterburger, chicken tenders, cheese curds and frozen custard. The butterburgers are solid fast-food fare, though not quite at the level of In-N-Out, Shake Shack or Five Guys. You'd be expecting too much if you thought that much. I won't compare it to White Castle since it's just different. I'd say it's pretty on par with Whataburger, maybe even a little bit better, although I will say Whataburger is decent too. It's better than Mcdonald's (still decent) and Sonic Drive-In (meh...eh). The single burger here is pretty big, I get full off it. The original chicken tenders are a hit, even rivaling Jack-In-The-Box. The batter they use here is lighter yet still crispy with good flavor. Ok, don't @ me, they're good but they're not better than Raising Canes or Popeyes, but they still hit the spot. While the buffalo tenders are decent, I prefer the original with a side of buffalo sauce. A 2 pc is the perfect size for me with sides. The cod sandwich is good and surprised me with its hoagie roll. The sandwich itself is quite big and I get full off just this. The crinkle cut fries are delicious, a mix between Shake Shack and Del Taco fries. The cheese curds ARE THE ABSOLUTE BEST, comes with two cheeses, un-aged yellow and white Wisconsin cheddar cheese. There's nothing to compare them to because they're THE BEST. Their onion rings are bomb. Their chili is delicious and so are their mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes taste similar yet slightly different from KFC, but the gravy tastes different. The frozen custard here is to die for. You could make any combo and it would taste good because the custard is just that amazing. They have new daily combos every day from what I've seen. The chocolate covered strawberry flavor that I got was amazing. One scoop of frozen custard is a good size for me, I often find myself saving some for later. The concrete mixer is even bigger but also very delicious. The service is friendly, and the pricing is fair for the quality and quantity. My only wish is for a drive-thru pick-up option on their mobile app, which occasionally has glitches. Despite that, my dreams are filled with thoughts of Culver's. Don't assume that just because it's fast food, it's bound to be not good. If anything, this might be one of the better fast-food options out there. A must-visit. read more

I like Culvers quite a lot. I like it mostly for the custard. They call it custard but I always think of ice cream first. I think it is more smooth than ice cream. Once you have had the custard you will realize you can never go back to ice cream. Kidding, or am I? I like the plain vanilla custard the best so far. They have rotating flavors, but I think I should stick to the plain with the mix ins. I also like their fries quite a lot since they are hot and crispy. I am surprised not more people know about them. I think I have seen ads on television for them now, but lots of friends and family don't know about them. I tried their curds and I didn't like the batter due to the seasoning. I wonder if I can get a seasonless cheese curd I think I would like that a lot. No final order quality checks, and over 3 years of living in the area I've been here countless times, and they have left core items out of the order in drive-thru orders EVERY SINGLE TIME. Tonight was a late night dinner run, and ordered a Culver's deluxe single with medium fries, a side of broccoli and a single beef patti with lettuce and tomato and no bun. After waiting for over 25 minutes in the drive-thru to order and waiting in queue for them to bring my order to me, they brought the bag. I thought for a moment to check the contents given the history with this store, but drove off thinking that there is no way this could happen again. I got home and opened the bag and found a bunless burger, fries, and a missing deluxe single cheeseburger, which was my dinner. I am shocked by the lack of quality control especially in the drive-thru that must generate 50-75% of the revenue. I credit lack of quality controls at this franchise location and considering how this has consistently happened to my family a dozen times no less in three years, Culver's needs to address this problem. I will never attend this Culver's again, and since this location is within a couple miles, I will likely never go here again. read more

In my opinion, Culver's has one of the best burgers in town and I love going there. Fries and drinks are good, too. I've never had the milkshake although I think Culver's is more known for that. When the glass doors walking into this restaurant or any restaurant haven't been cleaned in a while that is usually a tell tale sign. I have received 10 orders now that have been royally screwed up by this business. Today is my son's birthday and he loves their food and so I called in advance of placing my order to make sure that a manager spot checked my order and spoke to that manager who confirmed that she would make sure that we get every single item in our order again it is our son's birthday so this was important to us. The manager promised us she would spotcheck the order. She promised us. We would get our full amount of food that we put in for our order and yet still somehow we missed both of the milkshakes. We didn't get any of our drinks at all two milkshakes and iced tea. Nothing the manager didn't offer to bring it to us. The manager didn't offer to refund us. The manager didn't offer to give us a discount. The manager didn't offer to give us a free french fry. The manager heard that she had screwed up. Her store had screwed up 10 orders in a row. She was told to manually it's herself spot check the order herself she was told it was my son's birthday and that this was important to her customers that we got every bit of our order and nothing. There is no way that any human being can order an order here at this institution and get every bit of their order. There's no way I talked to the manager and I asked her what I could be doing better as a customer to make sure that I get every part of my order she said that there is nothing that I could've done better. I did my full job. Yet still they are still incapable of getting a complete order to a birthday boy on his fourth birthday. Meaning that no matter what we do as customers, they can not be accountable for their mistakes, they have no interest in making up for their mistakes, and their accountability ends as soon as food goes into a drivers hands.
