It was good! I ordered their burger with swiss cheese and mushrooms it was delicious. It was a double burger patty so it was big burger. I also had their onion rings and I ate them all! My kids got a kid's meal that included free frozen custard with 1 topping! It was so much fun for my kid's to get frozen custard with their meal. My husband and I shared a free frozen custard too by filling out one of their customer service survey, winning! The customer service was very nice. At first we didn't get our onion rings and I know I ordered them and they kindly went back to get me my onion rings so that problem was avoided. The place can be a little cleaner but over all it was good place to get some food and dessert. read more

As far as fast food goes, Culver's is one of the best options out there! Yes, it's a chain, but it's a regional chain so I feel like they still have quality and originality in their menu compared to others. As far as the food goes, the custard is the best part. Inside, you can see it slide freshly out of the machines, and I've always loved that they have a different flavor every day! The chocolate milkshake is one of the thickest I've ever had. It's not overly sweet, which I like, and it's probably my second favorite in the area (right below Oberweis). However, my one complaint is that they don't mix their shakes together all the way so sometimes you'll get a sip of straight chocolate syrup. The rest of the menu has everything from corn dogs to burgers and crinkle-cut fries. There must be something magical about the butterburgers because my boyfriend requests one at least once a week. Apparently they put Wendy's baconators to shame. Even in the drive thru, the food is always fresh and hot, and while it isn't as good as other regional favorites like Portillo's, Culver's is definitely a step above other fast food options. read more

This location is new to the area - about 2 years and it is literally 1 minute from my house - thus its initial appeal. I think their burgers are juicy, flavorful, and I love how the edges of the meat are kinda crispy. Texture is a good thing!!! I also think their fries are okay - I always enjoy a nice crinkle cut now and again. The price is a bit higher than your average FFBJ (fast food burger joint) but as long as I feel the quality of the food is on point I dont really mind. Oh, and about the cheese curds...are they kidding? It's like a big order of midget mozzarella cheese sticks!! I really liked them but I could only eat about 5 andy you get so many! My advice is to just get ONE order and share with someone or a group...my friend and I got an order each - talk about wasteful!! Been here a few times and I always go through the drive-thru, but this time I went inside to pick out a pint of custard. Guy at the cash register was kinda blah and could have had more pep, but was helpful & informative. Ordered a value basket (prime rib sandwich was so delish!) and a pint of Chocolate Covered Strawberry custard. So, the custard is most likely chocolate custard, right? Nope. It's vanilla, which I don't really like. Probably should have asked, but the word "chocolate" is in the title. The whole pint literally had three tiny pieces of strawberry, like half of a teaspoon piece of strawberry. Nice that they use real strawberries, but c'mon! Also, there are just tiny slivers of chocolate throughout the pint; hardly any chocolate at all. I'd say the pint consisted of about 95-98% vanilla custard. Lame. I was really disappointed. I normally don't complain, but I actually sent a comment/complaint online to the store, mainly because I truly believe they should only name a pint of custard Chocolate Covered Strawberry if it is going to really taste like a chocolate covered strawberry. The manager or whoever replied to me was very nice & offered a free pint. In the past, I must say that every customer service experience I have had with Culver's has been great. My trip to this location and the pint I bought was three stars, but my experience after the fact was five stars. I have always been really happy with the food & custard. Cheese curds, pot roast, prime rib sandwich, butter burger, pumpkin shake, etc. All so good. This last pint of custard was a big bummer, but I'm anxious to see what my next pint will be. read more

Ahh Braahh, woah, i'm like sooo totally Culverized!! The butterburger with cheddar and bacon is best in class in this fast food nation, imo. Also, they have a snack pack menu at 4$ and comes with your choice of sandwich or burger paired with a small sized drink and small fries, the latter two which I have zero problem in cutting back on. Everything I've ever eaten at Culvers is pretty darned good. From the Butter Burgers and Custard to everything else I've tried on their menu. The Fried Chicken is the best I've had since coming to the Midwest. Shame they don't serve it with waffles. Quality fast food for sure. read more

The home of the butter burger. I used to think the butter burger was this thick slab of butter on a bun. It's actually a beef burger in case you have never been here. Not a bad burger joint. They have a different style and now available near Chicago. This was always a place I would see in Wisconsin but never ate at until they built this one. So I've had Culver's a few times before (different locations) and just really didn't enjoy the food. I always ordered the burgers and they were just OK. Well after reading a review that they served fried chicken I opted to go for lunch. Basic drive thru experience, Basic service, Chicken was fresh and pretty tasty. I had the gravy & mash potatoes for both sides which I didn't like the gravy at all. EWWWW... Nothing to write home about, but I'd probably go back if I'm in the mood for fried chicken on my lunch break. Or if I'm w/others that like this place. read more

Great. I'm waiting for the burger order in the car in 90 degree heat. They ALWAYS hand you the receipt and your frozen custard, then you have to wait with your number in the car for your burgers. Meanwhile, the custard melts! I spoke with you last year about this. Horrible terrible thing to do to the drive through customers. read more

Love this place. I've been going a lot lately because of their happy hour after 9 pm. I got addicted to the concretes while I was pregnant and even though I'm not anymore I can't tear myself away from the BOGO concretes and shakes. My favorite a banana and caramel concrete. Sounds kind of odd, but its amazing!! The only negative, the drivethru. For some reason when I don't go inside the concretes and shakes aren't nearly as good. read more

Tried the Cod sandwich and it has no taste. The fillet was very oily that the bun was soaked at the bottom. Felt like they forgot to put salt on everything. Not sure if the cook at this location just forgot to add salt or seasoning or its like this at all Culver's. read more

4 Stars - Damn Good/Bringing It Yes this is fast food /casual dining which does not generally get a four or a five but this place is solid for what it is. Great place to dine at Culvers. Well managed venue and clean restaurant. The cashier was very nice and patient with our large order (family of 7). The kids, my wife, and I enjoyed the meals so I only have positive things to say about this particular Culvers. Should we ever be in the Schaumburg area again, we'll certainly return to the Culvers. read more

My burger had a hair in it. let me be clear, Not that big of a deal. I've worked in restaurants most of my life, I know not everything is going to be perfect but the response by management is the key. me and my wife both got burgers and I found the hair in mine quickly, naturally we both we no longer in the Culvers mood tonight so I brought mine back to store looking for a refund to eat somewhere else (truth be told there was a 100% chance that we would be back, your close to home and good food). So I wasn't mad or rude (I am now) but apparently it is culvers' policy to only refund the food that is brought back. now to me this means one of two things 1) Culvers actually expected my wife gamble with her burger after we found the hair in mine or 2) Culvers thinks that I was lying for free food. As insulting as that paranoia is it also led to a dangerous health code issue. I told the manager, "I brought the burger and hair back but im sure you don't want to bring something that has been in my mouth back in there". Apparently I was wrong because she thought I was lying so strongly that she took the bag, brought it back inside the building and went through it (during a pandemic). I was here for a quick lunch (and then made a stop later in the day for the 4 pints for $5 deal) and our server (Jayleen) was fantastic - really informative, funny, personable. Honestly I like Culver's but EVERY TIME I go to this location for some reason they can never get my order right. I get the same thing every time and it's not an overly complicated order. I think the people who work here need to learn how to listen to an order. read more

Came in to try out the shakes they have and ended up going with a mint chocolate chip shake that was recommended by one of the locals. It ended up being pretty good and think I couldn't have went with a better choice. Shake was easy to drink not too thick and smooth plus plenty on tasty chocolate chips definitely a game changer for the day. read more

I was there today and the food was fine but the carpeting was filthy. I have never seen carpets so dirty in a restaurant. Mainly by the tables to the left of the door. I'm talking brown ground in so badly that l doubt cleaning them is even possible. I was sitting waiting for an order when I glanced down and could see the heavily soiled carpet and compared to some areas where there was untouched areas due to no traffic, the comparison was gross. Please replace and make it look like other culvers which have a higher standard of cleanliness. read more

I love Culver's. The reason Im giving only 3 stars is because I recently had their Veggie butter Burger on 3 different occasions. The 1st 2 times the veggie burger was GREAT! Today was my 3rd time having one and honestly it was cold and tasted awful, like they didnt even cook it. I wont be going back for another for sure. read more

This location is relatively clean, has friendly service, gets orders right. Order fulfillment could be a little faster, but still acceptable. I particularly enjoy their Chicken Cashew salad and periodically their Butter Burgers. My go to concrete mixer is vanilla with raspberry/Reese's Peanut butter cups/cashews! Try it out! read more

I came here for lunch during break at my work. The drive thru was kinda packed but the order taking went fast. After I waited I got my food but they gave me the wrong soda. It wasn't that big of a deal and I just drank it anyways. The food was also alright. It's just a pretty decent Culver's like the rest of them. read more

This location is very clean and the staff is also very nice! Everything from the cheesecurds to the pot roast sandwich/fries I had were delicious! Not overcooked or cold. Overall food quality is average at best and a little higher priced than fast food. The French fries are terrible. We tried the fried cod last night- take out. It was ok but the portion was small. Plus they got the order wrong. I had to drive back the 22 minute round trip to have them re-do the order. Other than the custard on hot summer nights we probably will not go there for food. read more

As much as I absolutely LOVE Culvers, I have had two bad experiences at this particular one. We placed an order for a Large Cheese curd, Large fry and two drinks after a long day of traveling. We waited about 15 minutes for our order to come and drove off after receiving it. We usually check our bag to make sure we have everything - however since we waited so long we figured that they fried the foods fresh for us! We got home and had a large fry - no cheese curds :( The next trip was about 45 minutes prior to closing time in the summer months. My boyfriend and I had never actually ordered Culvers custard or ice cream before so I asked the drive thru attendant what mix ins they had (it was not on the board). He said "Anything". We were kind of thrown off by his short remark and harsh tone, however we figured maybe he was busy. We pulled around after ordering and received luke warm chocolate ice cream with about two half size snickers.... Overall, I love the restaurant and recommend it to those looking for a quick meal. However, their customer service could use an improvement. read more

The three stars are for the food. The service here is far below the other culver's locations, which are usually pretty stellar for fast food service. No one here ever seems to know what the flavor of the day is, and they run out of ingredients on a regular basis. Not up to par for this chain, but food is still pretty consistent. read more

You would think taking 45 5th graders to Culver's would be a nightmare, but Carlos and his team made the process so smooth. My boyfriend and I go to this Culver's at least 3 times a month to get custard. 3 times in the last 2 months we have had the worst custard I've ever had (and I usually LOVE Culver's custard). It tasted like someone blended cake into it. It had a "fuzzy" texture. The first time we drove all the way back and were refunded so I figured it was just a fluke. Since then it has happened 2 more times.. This past Wednesday it happened again and we drove all of the way back and they made us new sundaes but they still had the same awful texture! I don't think we will be going to this location anymore! :( read more
