When you first walk in it is cheerful and bright! Everyone working here is happy and having a great time which we loved. The music playing is perfect and not too loud. This is our first time here. The lady taking our order was so kind and patient with us. We really appreciated her service with a smile! I ordered a single cheeseburger and my husband ordered a bacon cheeseburger and the meat patty on his burger was huge, I swear it was double what mine was! We shared a large fry and it was really huge! Looks like everything is fried in peanut oil! My husband likes the soda machine cause there are so many great options. There was a box on two separate tables that were full of peanuts (in the shell) with little paper bowls and a scoop inside. You help yourself. The burgers were hot and fresh. To be honest they are a bit over priced (Our bill was $36 for two burgers, one large fry, and one large drink!) When I say large I mean super huge! So huge that I don't think we will personally eat here that often but it was great to give this restaurant a try! If you love burgers and fries you have to give this restaurant a try! Make sure you bring your appetite with you because the portion sizes are huge! Five stars for five guys!

It's been quite a while since I reviewed Five Guys in Schaumburg. It looks like my last review was in 2014. Five Guys still looks the same. I think they may have added a few items to the menu, but we were there for burgers. And, they still have peanuts for you while you wait. We both ordered burgers, drinks, and shared large fries. The dining room was crowded so we opted to eat outside. They have a number of outdoor tables. For reasons of COVID, we took one away from others. Their hamburgers and typically large. So are their fries, which is why we opted to share some. The food was good - but there have been so many new very good burger places that opened in the area, I find some of them much better. Although the food was good, the presentation was bad. I included a picture showing my "Smooshed" Five Guys Burger. I know it doesn't affect the taste, but it shows a lack of care on the part of the cooks. My suggestion to Five Guys is to look around at some of the local restaurants, not chains, to see what they are doing.

I came out on my lunch break and pulled up to Five Guys. It has been a minute since I had a burger and fries from Five Guys. The prices are a bit pricey. Five Guys doesn't have a value deal. Each menu item is sold separately. Nice clean location with an outside patio. I ordered the wrap cheeseburger with fries. The food was freshly cooked well done with hot crispy fries. The service could have been a little better.

The friend of apparently all the employees just hung out and talked and ate at the counter with no mask, leaning over the glass. For the whole 20 minutes we were here. Like don't stand right by the food and where everybody else has to pick up their orders. If you don't want to wear a mask, don't be in my business. And I don't know why none of the masked employees said anything.

When we got there it was like going back in time, a huge old school diner. It's definitely worth taking visitors too. It's known for its hotdogs but has branched out to a wide variety of sandwiches made in a Chicago style. I had a sausage dog smothered in sautéed onions and mustard and my friend had a hotdog sans the onion. I have never seen a hotdog with a tomato in it! Our sandwiches were delicious. I also ordered a small fry to share but after the flavor fullness of my polish sausage the fries just didn't compare. I also ordered their world famous chocolate cake. It's true, it says so on the menu. I was so full from my sandwich I couldn't touch the cake at the restaurant, I just tried it now to finish my review and it's on point! It tastes different than regular chocolate cakes, I can't pin down the difference though. I will say it's just the right amount of sweetness, not overly so but the flavor of the cake is wow! Definitely a winner!

Upon looking up Big Sammy's on Yelp, it seemed like an ideal choice. After my arrival to the restaurant, I took my time deciding (even though I was in the mood for a burger) as they have a big menu with lots a good variety to choose from. I decided to order a hamburger with lettuce, onions, tomatoes, and ketchup; a cheeseburger with lettuce, onions, tomatoes, pickles, and mustard; six mango habañero wings, and small order of French fries. My ordered was prepared fresh. The fries and the wings were hot off the fryer and the burgers were freshly char-grilled. All the food tasted good. The fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, just the way I prefer. The wings were meaty and crispy with a sweet and spicy flavor. The char-grilled were cooked properly and were quite delicious. They hit the spot. My meal was exactly like how I expected. I liked this establishment for their menu variety, overall pricing, and good service. The restaurant was nice, clean, well-lit, and spacious. Check them out. I'll be back for more.

I didn't get to try any of the donuts because we had 3 kids with us, but my wife said they were good; she liked that they were hot and fresh, as she's had this type of donut before but it was more stale and stretchy. Gotta have them fresh, I suppose. I'd love to go back without kids so I can properly try a whole corn dog and a donut, but it felt like a unique treat.
