Everytime I go here I have to beg the staff here to NOT PLACE MY SANDWICH on that dirty counter! Once girl there brought my sandwich all the way towards the pay register and sat it down where another worker then put in into paper! Really? With dirty money and what not right there? I tell them all the time to place paper under my sandwich. We live close to this location, and every time we come here, it hits the right spot, and everything is always fresh. We also always have amazing service here and friendly younger workers. My husband came here yesterday, and there were two younger guys working who were personable and extroverted. My husband was talking to them about the great punk rock music they were playing, and when my husband ordered my sandwich with jalapeños, the worker asked if we wanted a lot of them. The workers here always ask great questions about customizations, and they always fill the sandwiches and aren't stingy on using ingredients, which I'm so thankful for because the sandwiches here definitely aren't cheap (almost $10 for a regular sized sandwich and $19 for a giant size). I read some other reviews about workers not giving recommendations, but I feel it's hard to recommend a customizable sandwich when every menu item describes what the sandwich includes in it, and they don't know what you like... I've never been to a sub place that did this. We like Jersey Mike's in general because they cut the deli meat in front of you, and although they don't have as many ingredient options as some other sub places, everything tastes so fresh and delicious. My favorite go-tos are the #13 Original Italian or the #7 Spicy East Coast Italian (both Mike's way with no tomatoes and with jalapenos). YUM!! read more

I really like this Jersey Mikes on Higgins. I've picked up sandwiches here more than a dozen times, and the food is always fresh tasting, with the workers and managers friendly and more than accommodating. I usually go with either the Big Kahuna or the turkey and provolone Mike's way. read more

I don't know what is going on with this location. The quality and service has really went down hill. This used to be my go to location for Subs. The cold cuts have got so bad, I don't think I would know the difference between one of theirs and a Subway sub. On my most recent visit. I ordered a #9 and ended up with a roast beef and provolone mush sub on stale bread. I called to let them know and I was put on hold until they eventually hung up on me. The time before that I ordered to go and my order was wrong then also. Very disappointing and hope they get things changed around. read more

Order was rung up rung. When I questioned it, another employee decided to aggressively interject himself. I asked for a refund and after arguing about it, I was refunded everything but my tip! I called corporate customer service and they were useless. The person expected me to forward my credit card via email so she could email it to someone else. Really??? Ever heard of credit card fraud? She then told me to make ab appointment with the store manager. An appointment??? At this point I told her to keep it and that I would NEVER go to another one of there establishments ever again. I had tried Jersey Mike's many years ago and wasn't particularly impressed. Seemed like a run-of-the-mill sandwich from what I recall. Got a coupon in the mail so we decided to give it another try and this time we were very impressed! Everyone in my family loved their sandwiches and my kids both said they'd rather have this than Potbelly or Jimmy John's (their favorite sub). It was my first time at Jersey Mike's. The gentleman working behind the counter was so friendly & so very thorough. He asked us questions relating to all our possible choices for our sandwiches. Great consumer service! We chose cold cut sandwiches. We had a long hectic day. We were in Schaumburg for a wedding & we were tired & hungry & on a time schedule. We stopped in & took a chance on this sandwich shop. Boy, were we glad we did. We took our well crafted sandwiches back to our hotel & had a bed picnic. Those were the best sandwiches we hadn't had in forever. We are now hooked. We've been to two other locations since. One in Olympia Fields, Illinois & the other in Munster, Indiana. I stopped in here for the first time tonight. I had never had Jersey Mike's Subs. There were a couple employees working who were both very helpful with my first order! I got a #4 mini on wheat; done "Mike's Way". I was even given a free cookie and a couple coupons for my next visit because it was my first time in and as the lady told me, "rookies get cookies"! So how was the sandwich? Very good! No shortage of meat or toppings! Well made and very tasty! I can say this is as good as any other sandwich shop. Now, all sandwich shops have their own kind of flavor and style; so, of course I'll still visit other places. But, Jersey Mike's Subs has a new fan! I visited for a 2nd time the very next day! Got the #13 and it was awesome! The employees were again super nice and helpful! I really like how they slice the meat for each order; you know it's nice and fresh! Woof. Ordered food at 6:18 for a 6:33 pick up. Arrived and asked where to pick the food up. They said it would be ready in a second. After waiting another 10 minutes they said they didn't start the order despite all other customers coming in, ordering, getting food, and leaving during that time. I understand mistakes happen and it wasn't really an issue until the employees were extremely unprofessional, laughing and saying they could not cancel the order. Finally got the food at 6:50. Definitely disappointing given the way the employees handled everything. read more

I do not recommend this location at all. Although, their stated hours are to 9pm, they shut down the grill top at 8:30. When I asked why, the Manager on duty stated it was policy. I asked him where is it written for customers and he stated to get the f#@% out very loudly. If a business serves their guests this way, I would suggest going elsewhere. read more

No Ketchup!! Sorry but that's my requirement on a cheesesteak. With mayo/California style(lettuce and tomato). Don't have that problem at home. The thing was a hot mess when I got it back to my hotel across the street. Wasn't happy. The only time I ever had a bad sub was this location. $18 for a drink and a large Kahuna. Ridiculous. Should have just ate at the steakhouse next door. I'm one and done at this hole. Didn't care for the customer service of the two immature kids working there either. This place has become one of my favorite Jersey Mikes locations. The guy at the register is a really pleasant fellow who brightens your day. Plus there is outdoor seating. My only suggestions would be for them to add some umbrellas to the patio tables. read more

Service was very poor. They had someone with a big order ahead of me but eventually someone else took my order. But they didn't bother to tell me that they weren't going to make it anytime soon. Instead they served all the other customers that came in afterwards first. Every single one. When I asked why, they said something about how they were the front line customers. Apparently my mistake was ordering a hot item. Those they don't feel the need to do until they make all the cold sandwiches first. Really dumb system that should be advertised. How about the food. After all that the Baja Chicken wrap had decent flavor but the wrap they used was ice cold which was gross. Do not recommend. read more

Went in to eat on 9/11/21 at 4:35pm. There's a sign on the door that says masks required, no problem I'm wearing a mask. Then I walk in and the guy making subs has his mask far down below his nose. So that means everything he's breathing out his nose is going on the food. That's disgusting! If we can't trust this restaurant to follow imperative health guidelines, how can we trust them at all. read more

My experience in this restaurant was good, even though my expectations were not met. My friend recommended this place, and I did not hesitate to visit it. He told me how delicious the subs were in this place, which is why I was so excited to visit it because I love subs too. I was already in the restaurant, and it was clean and bright. It is definitely a good spot for something really quick. The staff were nice, and I immediately ordered myself a sub. The staff did not recommend anything, so I just chose randomly, and I chose their turkey sub. The service is really quick and the place is not crowded, so I was able to get my sub after a few minutes. I am expecting something great considering its price. The turkey sub is fresh; literally everything in it is fresh. However, there is a missing flavor because it was not really the best or something I could say was really delicious. Yes, it is pretty good, but I was just disappointed since I had expected much more from it, and that was my fault. Still, I am looking forward to going back and will probably try something different next time. read more

Came in to order their Original Italian, just the sandwich. When I arrived, saw that they had a daily special deal (sandwich, chips, drink) for a great price (about the same as a sandwich only). Luckily that day's special sandwich was the Original Italian! Score! I ordered the daily special and they made the sandwich to order, slicing the bread, meats and cheese. Mike's way is the best way to dress the sandwich. Got a bag of chips and a root beer. They were allowing dine-in, but I chose to take it to go. What can I say, food tasted good and price was right (a bit more expensive than other sandwich chains, but the ingredients are superior, and you can taste the difference.) read more
