Waiting too long for a first cup of coffee. Getting the bill wrong and then forgetting to come back with a corrected one. At the other times the server was perfect. I thought my fruit cup had maybe sat in the fridge too long, as it did not look fresh. They don't serve real maple syrup. The server explained that it was too expensive! They do offer a blueberry syrup, but I haven't tried that. To sum up, a good but not great place for breakfast and at reasonable prices. Just don't expect all the bells and whistles.

Pizza was done at the stated time and most importantly. It was super delicious. My husband picked the pizza up on. Thursday evening and said there were two people at a table. I love pizza but it isn't always easy to find a gluten free crust that is delicious and crispy. I appreciate that fact. The pizza had ample toppings and c-h-e-e-s-y. Last we must have gotten someone else's order, but didn't notice it before we were too far down the road to do anything about it. This time, the food was just bad. First off, they no longer serve Potato Cakes (my favorite Fast Food Side). So I ordered their new crinkle fries. Nothing special. Diane ordered a Brisket Sandwich. It was okay, but way too fatty. Several slices were like 95% fat. I ordered a Bacon and Swiss Crispy Chicken Sandwich with no sauce. It was loaded with a gross honey mustard sauce. Why do places insist on covering things that are supposed to be served crispy or crunchy in sauces? All it does is make them soggy and unappetizing! Our Jamocha Shakes both tasted like they were a mix of other flavors. Not sure how that would happen, but we both had the same comment. With tons of options on our way up north and two straight messed up visits, I doubt we ever go back. Maybe if they bring back the Potato Cakes!

Keep in mind that we come at least once a year and they never had not accepted names onto their wait list but I understand that the servers were running behind but we were waiting for 15 minutes and they didn't even bother to tell us that they weren't accepting names onto the wait list. So for the future I would hope they would let waiting customers know if they aren't accepting names to be added to the wait list.

For a variety of reasons, last night was the first time we stopped in for a burger and beer. I'm sure it won't be the last. Orders for food and drinks are placed at the bar. You can eat at the bar or one of several tables just off to the side. Food and drinks are cash only and the kitchen doesn't have the capacity to serve groups larger than six to eight. They have a small but decent selection of tap beer and of course a full bar. The burger I ordered was as good as any I've had at a local bar and grill -- thick, juicy, topped with cheese, onions, mushrooms, and a tasty (though generic) BBQ sauce. An ample amount of fries (skin on) completed the basket. They offer a number of set combinations or you can "build your own" with any of the ingredients they stock in the kitchen. I might not be a regular--I only occasionally indulge in burgers like these--but I'll come back for another, hopefully sooner than 35 years from now.
