For a variety of reasons, last night was the first time we stopped in for a burger and beer. I'm sure it won't be the last. Orders for food and drinks are placed at the bar. You can eat at the bar or one of several tables just off to the side. Food and drinks are cash only and the kitchen doesn't have the capacity to serve groups larger than six to eight. They have a small but decent selection of tap beer and of course a full bar. The burger I ordered was as good as any I've had at a local bar and grill -- thick, juicy, topped with cheese, onions, mushrooms, and a tasty (though generic) BBQ sauce. An ample amount of fries (skin on) completed the basket. They offer a number of set combinations or you can "build your own" with any of the ingredients they stock in the kitchen. I might not be a regular--I only occasionally indulge in burgers like these--but I'll come back for another, hopefully sooner than 35 years from now.

The staff as attentive to our table and quick. The drink menu was big. The daiquiri and pina colada were from a smoothie machine and not super frozen so on a hot day it doesn't last long. I got the chicken bacon ranch wrap with sweet potatoes fries. The sweet potato fries were good but feel like missing a dipping sauce with them. The wrap was a good portion, I prefer a little more sauce. The fish fry plate was big, 3 pieces of fish. The batter was crispy. The corn bread was yummy.

Sat outside close to the dock, was a beautiful sunny day and not too hot. Wifey had a salad with grilled chicken. Looked very good and ended up as part of the clean plate club. Friends had pulled pork sliders which looked very good. Three small rolls with pork, cole slaw and a dressing. Fourth adult had fish tacos with side of fries. Fish portion was modest. One child had beef tacos, must not have been very good because only a half was eaten. Child number two had a corn dog and fries. Can't complain about the food, but the prices were a little high for what we received. Recommend as a great place to stop while on the lake but would not journey there for other meals.

It's not quite in "the best I've ever had" category, but I come from Chicago so I'm a pizza snob. I also like the pizza sticks. These are similar to pizza, but they are cut into thin like strips or sticks. Maybe due to the fact that it's finger food they don't have sauce on them and you're supposed to dip them in marinara. It's similar to pizza yet a little different. I also highly recommend the chicken Caesar salad and the nachos are good as well. The red and green salsa are good; however, I recommend the green. A nice beach, volleyball court, and boat docking facilities are available.
