It looked so luscious I couldn't really see walking away without trying it. This gelato ranks up there with some of the best things I've ever eaten in my life! It tasted like gooey rich brownie batter complete with tiny grains of deep dark chocolate sand dispersed throughout the dark deliciousness that melted in my mouth. The lady who served it to us was the best kind of ice cream/gelato store server who laughed and was delighted to share delicious treats with customers. This shop is where the Cheese Board makes their fudge. You can bet I'll be stopping in here again for some dark chocolate gelato any chance I get!

I believe there are new owners, but I am not certain. It appeared that the lemonade was pre-mixed. And it wasn't made in the plastic containers when they would smash the lemons for the fresh lemon juice. It was in a regular fast food cup. It certainly didn't taste the same. I was really disappointed. It was quite busy and it appeared. Everyone was ordering ice cream. So if that is your preference, maybe this is the place to go. They also had a grill with corn on the cob available to purchase. That was something new that I've never seen before. I hope they return to the freshly made lemonade.

Someone said they could tell some of the ice cream had been sitting out for a bit because it was gooey. Beyond the ice cream there were very few other things to choose from. There was a few pieces of random pies and cakes, but most of the refrigerator was empty. There are a few gifts here too. There are a few seats inside, but it's a pretty small place so it feels cramped. Like a few other places in the area, they prefer not to take cards for smaller tabs (under $10). The woman that was working there was very nice and offered many samples. I think they should just serve ice cream...it just seems like there is too much going on in this place (and they need more inventory).

They use a barrier of tall pine shrubs to provide a nice natural delineation between the seating area and the drive through waiting line. The chicken tenders are a favorite of mine. For something different we occasionally get the pork loin sandwich. Always good. Key note on it is that make sure you ask for desired toppings. It comes "naked" with only the pork loin on the bun. It's great if you would prefer BBQ sauce on it rather than mayo. We like the Pretzel Bites and Onion Rings as sides. Their custard flavors are great. I like the ones with strawberries or other fruit over the chocolate with add ins. Only minor issue I've had is in the spring with trainees coming on for summer. The only time I need to check my order. It's great to see how much they do for the community.
