We also bought a box of a variety of fudge slices, bridge mix, malted milk balls (my husbands fav and he said these were the best he has ever had). For me I could hardly get one in my mouth and they had a thick layer of chocolate. Good but not something I could just pop into my mouth like my husband can. We got a gift box of chocolates for a gift. My husband tried one chocolate off the shelf and said it was really good. So we are hoping our friend likes hers. I have been working my way through the creamy fudge. It is delicious and they have a large selection of flavors. I ate the bridge mix but for me it had too many of the big malted milk balls, which I gave to my husband. It looked so luscious I couldn't really see walking away without trying it. This gelato ranks up there with some of the best things I've ever eaten in my life! The lady who served it to us was the best kind of ice cream/gelato store server who laughed and was delighted to share delicious treats with customers. I believe there are new owners, but I am not certain. It appeared that the lemonade was pre-mixed. And it wasn't made in the plastic containers when they would smash the lemons for the fresh lemon juice. It was in a regular fast food cup. It certainly didn't taste the same. I was really disappointed. It was quite busy and it appeared. Everyone was ordering ice cream. So if that is your preference, maybe this is the place to go. They also had a grill with corn on the cob available to purchase. That was something new that I've never seen before. I hope they return to the freshly made lemonade.

You can't beat their selection of regional and specialty items that you don't always find in other city grocery stores. I think it's a nice touch to have a cart or two of reasonably priced discounted and discontinued items - that's nice to see. Aside from a great looking deli with select hot foods, a to-go salad bar (priced by weight), and a decent selection of fresh bread, Save More has the best fresh-made donuts and pastries this side of the Mississippi River. Sure wish you were closer but you do make it worth my 2.5 drive! Friendly staff, well-stocked shelves and always clean - what more does one need...besides a custard or buttercream-filled bismark!?

I read online they had fresh lobster tails in several sizes but there were 4 little ones totally 16 ounces. They didn't look great but I needed them. I cooked them following the directions. They didn't taste much like lobster they were more like big shrimp but clearly a lobster tail. They had a slice of butter on top and lemon wedges but the lobster was too heavily salted. So my recommendation is not to buy lobster there, the rest of the store is fine.
