The little shop was nicely decorated and has the largest collection of spreadable cheese knivesI have ever seen. We also bought a box of a variety of fudge slices, bridge mix, malted milk balls (my husbands fav and he said these were the best he has ever had). For me I could hardly get one in my mouth and they had a thick layer of chocolate. Good but not something I could just pop into my mouth like my husband can. We got a gift box of chocolates for a gift. My husband tried one chocolate off the shelf and said it was really good. So we are hoping our friend likes hers. I have been working my way through the creamy fudge. It is delicious and they have a large selection of flavors. I ate the bridge mix but for me it had too many of the big malted milk balls, which I gave to my husband. To be fair the bridge mix was almost out in the caseso I was getting the bottom of the barrel. I would have liked more raisins and other nuts. Although Kilwins has a huge variety, present the goodies more pleasingly and are much more customer service oriented, the taste of the fudge is better at Dan's.

My husband got a dark roast which is his to go to and a large dark roast with a shop of expresso for the road. He say great coffee. If it wasn't we wouldn't be coming back even if the food is awesome. I don't drink coffee (still thinking about a way to learn to like it because I feel like I'm missing out). My husband ordered the Lumberjack platter AND a side of corned beef hash. I looked at him like he was crazy and he said he was hungry. Well, 1/4 of the pancake, 1/2 the eggs and hash browns and 2 sausage links and 2 bacon plus 1/2 toast come home with him including 1/3 of the corned beef hash and the rest of my hash browns.
