The little shop was nicely decorated and has the largest collection of spreadable cheese knivesI have ever seen. We also bought a box of a variety of fudge slices, bridge mix, malted milk balls (my husbands fav and he said these were the best he has ever had). For me I could hardly get one in my mouth and they had a thick layer of chocolate. Good but not something I could just pop into my mouth like my husband can. We got a gift box of chocolates for a gift. My husband tried one chocolate off the shelf and said it was really good. So we are hoping our friend likes hers. I have been working my way through the creamy fudge. It is delicious and they have a large selection of flavors. I ate the bridge mix but for me it had too many of the big malted milk balls, which I gave to my husband. To be fair the bridge mix was almost out in the caseso I was getting the bottom of the barrel. I would have liked more raisins and other nuts. We plan on stopping back to try out some of the cheeses and getting a cheese/sausage gift box. Will give another review on the cheeses.

It looked so luscious I couldn't really see walking away without trying it. This gelato ranks up there with some of the best things I've ever eaten in my life! It tasted like gooey rich brownie batter complete with tiny grains of deep dark chocolate sand dispersed throughout the dark deliciousness that melted in my mouth. The lady who served it to us was the best kind of ice cream/gelato store server who laughed and was delighted to share delicious treats with customers. The way to describe this place would be "ultra-homey"-- the staff are all friendly and welcoming. They have a great selection of cards, photographs, and paintings from local artists. Both years, I've bought a beautiful card and written a letter to my grandmother on it.
