We are not locals but there were a few in here with their laptops. My husband and I both had the special oatmeal this time. It comes with Carmel, butter, walnuts and pecans and cut up apple. A little pitcher of milk to pour over the top finished it off. My husband had an Apple fritter calling his name and I had a bite. It arrived warm and soft and was delicious. My husband got a dark roast which is his to go to and a large dark roast with a shop of expresso for the road. He say great coffee. If it wasn't we wouldn't be coming back even if the food is awesome. I don't drink coffee (still thinking about a way to learn to like it because I feel like I'm missing out). It looked so luscious I couldn't really see walking away without trying it. This gelato ranks up there with some of the best things I've ever eaten in my life! It tasted like gooey rich brownie batter complete with tiny grains of deep dark chocolate sand dispersed throughout the dark deliciousness that melted in my mouth. The lady who served it to us was the best kind of ice cream/gelato store server who laughed and was delighted to share delicious treats with customers. This shop is where the Cheese Board makes their fudge. You can bet I'll be stopping in here again for some dark chocolate gelato any chance I get!
