Since I grew up in Illinois I LOVE Culvers!! My go-to Midwest meal is the pork tenderloin sandwich with extra pickles. I also love their sides, especially the fried cheese curds and coleslaw. The salads are very fresh and tasty. Another favorite is the pot roast dinner. Looking forward to fall when I can get the pumpkin concretes! We go to Culvers a couple of times a month and have never been disappointed. The service is excellent and they are all very friendly. read more

Worst customer support. I ordered a Spinach Artichoke Sandwich meal - I got home and they only gave me the bottom bun, a gross piece of browned lettuce and chicken. No too bun, no spinach artichoke. I called and the manager was so apologetic and said they would get me a value basket coupon right away to make up for the extra trip and that they messed it up so badly. It took a month. I got a coupon for a burger. Not what they told me. I called back and the next manager said she would make sure they sent me out the right coupon and it would be before their limited sandwiches were gone. Nope. Another month goes by. I call again. They make all kinds of excuses and say they won't send me the value basket deal but would send me a coupon for cheese curds. Talk about stingy. I expected to get a full meal - and got less than half an inedible sandwich - so I agreed to the value basket coupon. It would make things okay. But for them to be rude and take months and refuse to send what they told me twice they would send. Well, they've lost me as a customer. I expect them to make things right and for them to make it like it's my problem when they screwed up three times now - not giving them my business anymore. We went here at 8 pm to grab some food thru the drive-thru. Big mistake! I ordered a butter burger combo and all there was on the burger was cheese-no vegetables or sauce at all! And it was cold-like it was leftover from lunch. And we also ordered 2 pot roast sandwiches which were awful also. The cheese curds were way over-cooked and the iced tea had no ice whatsoever:( we will never go back to this Culver's again:( read more

Keep in my Culver's is a fast food chain restaurant and you will be surprised by how good the food is comparing with other places on the same category. Their menu offers more variety then your regular fast food. And if you like peanut butter go for the peanut butter mixer concrete ice cream than prepare yourself to go back craving for this darn good ice cream. read more

Great quick lunch. I got the pork chop sand-which and it was fantastic. Reminded the lady behind the counter that their fry sauce was out and then it was immediately take care of while one of the staff trained her on how to get it replaced. Let me start out by saying I like Culver's food. It's a better option than a lot of places. But there's always that one guy that can ruin things. I had a buy one get one free coupon for a burger. I asked if that worked for a combo twice and was told yes twice. Then when I pay there's only the burgers, no combo. I ask why and the same person that twice told me it would work now says they can't do that. What happened 30 seconds ago? It was painfully obvious he wasn't listening or forgot I wanted a combo and didn't want to fix it. Will I come back. Long pause............. Maybe some day. I am a Culver's fan of their custard. I do realize that they cook your food fresh so it does take a little longer, but I find the wait extra levels long at this particular Culver's restaurant. More than once, the employees have shown their dislike when you ask questions. Culver's on the whole has good food - I just would not recommend this particular franchise. read more

I was very pleasantly surprised when I first came because of a coupon in the mail and I stopped by after work. The "Butterburgers" are excellent-- better than In-n-Out by far. The custard is essentially a gourmet soft serve with two toppings, the concrete mixer (again, two mix ins for all ice creams) is like a DQ Blizzard, and the shakes are amazing as well. Staff: very friendly. Service: great. They also bring your food to your table like chick-fil-a. Prices: reasonable. You might spend more at Wendy's for in my opinion an inferior burger! The only disappointment I've had here is that the fry sauce is quite sub-par, I find myself using ketchup instead. But overall, an excellent place for an ice-cream fix as well as fast food if you want a burger (they have a drive-thru as well) read more

Really good burgers and desserts. The service is really good as well. We came 10 min before closing and they didn't rush us out while we dined in. Went here last night for a late night snack and shake. I was so dissatisfied I will never be back. My sister and I both ordered the pot roast dinner. I got green beans and what they call "Wisconsin cheese curds" (I feel bad for Wisconsin getting a bad rep from these), and she got a side salad and their shake of the night: salted chocolate cookie dough. We got home and unload the bag; two boxes of food and a ranch dressing. Open them up to find barely two ounces of dry shredded meat slathered in only what I can imagine is supposed to be gravy on top of the saddest looking soggy Texas toast I've ever seen. My sister's meal didn't look any better, and she had no salad. We got the ranch though, just no salad. The green beans were nothing to write home about, and the "cheese curds" tasted like cold string cheese coated in dry batter. The shake was decent, the ice cream had good flavor but we found a few raisins (I hope they were raisins) in it. Late night snack turned to late night disappointment. read more

Yikes, Culver's! We have loved your food in the past. It's always been great, but my husband got a double bacon cheeseburger and one of the patties was totally pink inside! He went back and showed it to them and none of the employees seemed to know what to do. He told them 3x which burger it was and they still didn't get the replacement right. Everyone told me Culver's was a good place to eat at. I ordered the Butter Cheeseburger with onions, pickles, catsup and mustard on a Gluten Free bun. The order came quick enough but the hamburger came with lettuce, tomato and pickles only. I opened the Gluten Free bun which comes heated and sealed in a plastic bag. I pulled the bun out and it was as hard as a rock. We banged it on the table and it sounded like banging a block on the table. Patrons at other tables though it was amusing. They only had one person working the register and customers were lined up. It was too busy to go get my order corrected. Sorry, my experience was not so great. Upon entering Culver's, I was initially, overwhelmed by the sheer number of items on the menu. Nonplussed, we decided to try the bacon butter burger with cheese, fries (obviously), a peanut butter Oreo concrete mixer, and an order of deep fried cheese curds. When the cashier told my fiancé how much we owed, I was shocked at how cheap the large amount of food we had ordered was. How could it be good? I was next shocked by the speed at which we received our order. The efficiency and enthusiasm of the crew of pre-collegiate employees running this whole show truly impressed me. Needless to say, we loved the food itself. The burgers stole the show. The meat had a buttery, crispy crust that paired well with the fresh toppings. Overall, our meal exceeded all our expectations and we were more than satisfied when we left. My only complaint is that when I asked for red onions on my burger, the cashier looked confused and said, "Um, they're kind of purplish, I'm not sure if they're technically red onions." read more

I cannot fathom how this place continues to see glowing reviews! I had been once outside of Utah about three years ago and thought it was just so so. Tried again tonight to the detriment of my stomach and wallet. Asked the cashier if their fish was crispy. "Oh yes! We batter and deep fry it" I beg to differ. It was very much a microwaved soggy mess. The fish most likely started out ok. I could tell it could have been good. But they killed it. The fries are a joke. They taste like yesterday's offerings, re-fried. This was also after waiting twenty minutes for the food to come out. No explanation nor apology was given for why it would take so long. Everything I saw come out on a tray had me wondering how they continue to open franchises. There is nothing fresh here at all. Everything starts out frozen. I gave them one star because the the frozen custard is the only thing any one should be consuming here. Please do not think I am just a stuck up foodie!! It was truly a disaster!!! I've been here a handful of times, and although the prices are a tad bit higher than other nearby fast food joints, the quality of the food is also better those other places. I've had their Reese's vanilla and chocolate concrete mixers, as well as their cookie dough and their Oreo - all of which were pretty delicious. As good as the concrete mixers were, I paid about $3.50 for a tiny (6-8 oz) mixer. That same 3.50 would go a lot farther other places. As for their food, I love their cheese curds, their burgers are as good as you'll get for a fast food joint, and the fries are pretty satisfactory. Based off the food and price, I think they get 4 stars. But what really made me decide to give them 5 stars is their service. Every time I go there, I receive excellent service. One time, I ordered an Oreo mixer, only to arrive at home to discover they gave me the wrong flavor. I filled out their online survey expressing my disappointment, and not a month later received an apology letter from their owner in the mail, along with a voucher for a free mixer. Outstanding. What can I say about culvers, well To start us off 20 dollars for two combos with some kid sized cups they call " medium " not to mention a bag with 12 fries. Oh and four chicken tenders that I so greatly appreciated I opened the box before hand to make sure they were all there. I was happy to find that one of the chicken tenders were already tasted by one of the workers to make sure it had that great culvers quality.
