I love Culver's, they are hard to find in the south, my wife and I are visiting family in Madison,Alabama and we lucked up and found one. The custard is thicker than ice cream but smoother and creamier than ice cream. If you find a Culver's you must stop and grab you a meal with their custard. Their butter burger is cooked fresh with a pat of butter on top while cooking. Culver's is no ordinary fast food joint. Their food is made fresh to order and custard is made daily. just went to culver, i normally love them and never have any issues. if anything it's just a long wait, but today the lady completely got my boyfriends and i order wrong, the gave us a 4 piece tender instead of 8! which was supposed to be both of our dinners, and gave us the wrong shake. we waited for about 25 minutes for this food so didnt even end up getting the correct food cause we already waited for long. very disappointed:( read more

I've been satisfied until now. I ordered what I thought was deluxe triple and deluxe double without cheese and fries no salt. By the time I finished I was so confused because she could get my order right the first time. I did call. The manager offered to remake it but I had already gave my husband his food and it was way to late. All I got was an apology. So apparently what ever the person rings up is law. I'm the customer. I had a bacon cheese burger. The meat was ok. The bread was too thick for my liking. The bacon was amazing! It was a nice thick cut. They are efficient. The drive through line has been long. I fell in love with Culver's when I visited AZ two Christmases ago. I was SO excited to hear they were coming to Madison. They DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! This is very similar to Freddy's. Like Freddy's, the patties are very thin and crispy and just melt in your mouth. Their custard is also very similar to the smooth custard served at Freddy's. To me, what sets Culver's apart from Freddy's though is the burger bun. They butter their bun and the bun is a bit airier than the one Freddy's uses. It's delicious! I highly recommend it! read more

The food is good. BUT every time we go they forget something and if you are in the drive thru it's a pain to get it since they make you pull up to wait for your food even if there isn't someone behind you. The worst however is their customer service. The last time we picked up from the drive thru we ordered a couple packs of chicken tenders, burgers and fries. I checked my order and they had forgotten a 4 piece tender and fries so I had to get out and walk back to the window by the door to get them. When I got home we realized they had given us spicy tenders when we had ordered regular (we had people who could not have spicy food for medical reasons), so we ended up not having enough food. The next day we called and the manager we spoke to said we were lying and that they hadn't had spicy tenders for weeks, wouldn't provide his name or the name of his manager. I've occasionally called restaurants when I've had an issue with an order and have always had good experiences that made me happy to return to that place. This is not the case for Culver's, it was the worst customer service experience and we will not return. read more

Stopped here headed back to Atlanta...Food was hot and fresh but the girl at the drive thru windows gave us our drinks with a leaky cup ,I saw it way before she was trying to hand it to my husband who was driving by the time I said it was leaking it was already spilled in the truck! All over the driver seat the girl at the window just handed us some napkins and closed the window didn't apologize for handing us a already overflowing leaking cup..Anyhow I was pissed my husband not so much..It's all about training and making sure you aren't filling the cup up to overflow..Now we have to pay for the seats to get shampoo by no fault of our own‍ read more

It was ok. It is better than Burger King, but beyond that I wasn't terribly impressed. I've heard great things about Culver's, but I was underwhelmed. I had a vanilla custard shake which was good, but it had no unique qualities. I ordered the Mushroom Swiss burger, but it was missing the mushrooms and I don't believe there was anything else on it in terms of condiments. It was very bland, no seasoning on the meat and seemed sorta overcooked and dry. I did really enjoy the fried cheese curds. Those were good. I'll try again, maybe the fish or chicken next time. Was looking forward to this Culver's opening, but have been disappointed with some of my food so far. I've been there three times since they opened. I like Culver's and have been to other Culver's in the midwest where I usually order the pork tenderloin and custard. Here are my experiences with this place. First time drive through, I picked up custard. I asked for the flavor of the day, but they gave me vanilla. Had to back up and point out their mistake. They told me to keep the first cone and gave me the flavored one. Nice to have two, but very difficult to eat two melting ones at once. Ordered a roast beef sandwich. Very dry and no gravy and didn't have their roast beef plate second time. Tried the butterburgers. Got a double cheese burger. One of the patties was burnt. Also messed up the custard again. Hope this particular store improves and get better. But right now, it still has problems. read more

I have been to several Culvers in several cities and find them overall to be above par. We just got a new one here in Madison AL and doesn't meet what I would consider minimum standards for Culvers. One time they are really good and the next time they're not. I have been to this one here several times and my wife and I have both had one problem or another. A couple of times getting the wrong order, having our orders given to someone else, etc... My wife have both had times when we have had to wait way longer than expected. Today I ordered a three piece Cod dinner. I watched as three Cod dinners (that I noticed) came out, two going to the driver thru and one going to a person who showed up fifteen minutes after me. I arrived at your restaurant at 1 pm and finally asked for my money back and departed at 1:50. This was totally unsatisfactory.
