I'm passing back through Huntsville for business and I last had Krystal's long ago. I didn't know they did breakfast, they're close to the hotel and I needed a little something while on the run. I tried the bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit. The biscuit was fresh and soft. Next time I'd try it without the bacon. I also picked up some "Glaze Bombs." These are what we know as donut holes. They come in a pack of 4 and that's enough sugar for me at the moment. Washing it down with a nice hot cup of coffee. Stopped back by on another afternoon for the Original Krystal - The tiny grilled burger topped with diced onions, mustard, and a slice of dill pickle, on that soft satisfying steamed bun. Ordered last night, received the oldest chicken I have ever attempted to eat. It was very hard, lukewarm warm and you could tell it had been sitting around for a long time. Whoever made the burgers must've just been having a bad day or didn't really care that they put 10-20 pickles on each little burger. Also added enough ketchup and mayo on one burger to cover all 5 of them. The place is always closed or dirty inside. I've tried this place over and over trying to like it. We rarely go here but when we do it's horrible. The cashiers are always so rude and never give enough food to match the price. We had drove over to this location to get dinner and a "manager" sitting in the dining room used her hands to indicate they were closed in dining room, and it's been like this for over a year, why be open? My son and parents have a "Krystal Craving" often and Nikki and her team always takes care us. Drive-thru attendant was too busy giggling to get my order correct. When i got to the window i asked why my order was more than $3, over projected total. She immediately got an attitude. Once i was given the correct total, she continued to be rude. I drove 3 mins to my hotel and my food was ice cold and old. My double krystals patties were dang near petrified. It was OK. I got the value meal for $3 (power of coupons!!!) The burger was grey and soggy, nothing like it was in the ad, but it was still a good burg. The fries were okay, along with the Sprite. But I made it 4 because, well, the meat was soggy, but it makes it taste better for some weird reason, LOL. A lot of people did say that Krystal is not very good, but it was OK for me. It shouldn't work, right? You may have read the above paragraph like me and thought, "Wow, that sounds great!" or you may have read it like a normal person and thought, "That's weird". Let me tell you what Krystal is not: Krystal is not healthy. Krystal will make your stomach go through all kinds of stages and cycles. But Krystal is so good. Super cravable. Borderline addictive. There's no other place like it in Burgertopia. Try it. If you don't like it, then maybe it's not your thing. But for those of us extreme enough to love it, it is forever a favorite. Get the Krystals with cheese, get the junkyard fries, get an appointment with your cardiologist. Also, beware of the pot hole/sink hole that rests in the road between Wendy's and Krystal's. M-F for over a year and I cannot tell you how many times my order has gotten messed up and bc we don't eat for a few hrs after we get it.... we don't notice it right away (gotta start checking the bag before I leave) so the manager gives me "half off"? Very good! I was looking to fill the void in my gut until dinner, and ordered two (2) Chili Cheese Pup's. I gotta say they were really good! Ok. New to Huntsville and Krystal. I've tried unsuccessfully at two other locations in Huntsville. This one I believe is in Madison. I just don't understand. This one and the two other locations are exactly the same. I pulled up to this one at 4:10 pm on 4-10-22. As with the other two. Nobody in line ahead or behind me. Nobody inside either. It took the knucklehead exactly 5 min to let me know he would be with me in a couple minutes. What! Seriously? Again, no one in line or inside. Is this a joke? If so I'm not laughing. Nor should the owners of these establishments. I just don't get it. How in the hell do you stay in business like this. All I want to do is try this place out and I can't. Is there a certain time of the day I might have better luck ordering from here ? Should I come in a different car ? Never been to a place that is not interested in taking your order. I like to eat their Senior Breakfast. It is just the right amount, it tastes great, and is close enough to home. When our health was better, my buddy and I would eat together every Tuesday morning. It was fun to watch other seniors there doing the same thing. read more

Honestly, I don't expect much from fast food but this location definitely exceeded my expectations! This location is spotlessly clean with a 94 health score. The food took a few minutes, but everything was fresh so no complaints there. On top of that, I received excellent customer service! Also, the bathrooms are very clean. read more
