Absolutely unbelievable...the girl taking the order could not get our order straight. It was a very simple order I have placed multiple times before but she just couldn't get it right...then after acknowledging our discount card from a local school could not then WOULD NOT give it to us (1 snack at half price). Finally I just gave up and left out of principle. She was very rude and acted like it was our fault that she didn't understand what was going on. First visit here, the service was outstanding, the cashier was super friendly and she was fast. This place will give all the other chicken restaurants a run for their money. Dear Roosters, do not change a thing. My chicken fingers were perfectly cooked and the sauce was really good. The fries were also excellent, because not only were they hot and fresh they have a coating on them that makes the the best fries in the world. Let me tell you about the toast, such goodness came from it, it was a buttery, garlicky, and crunchy bliss. Like any great southern restaurant that had outstanding sweet tea. We ordered the 7 piece fingers and toast with two sauces of your choice and a 3 piece order of hush puppies- you were talking to another employee when you stuck your hand towards my back seat window with my debit card and receipt. I commented that I "was up here" and you gave me ugly looks and attitude. When you handed me the bag with the order and I asked what sauces you gave me - Because you didn't ask when you took my order- You said " what did you order" I told you and you said " then you got house sauce" with an rude facial expression and tone. I simply said " thank you" but your performance reflects negatively on Roosters and their ownership. The catfish plate here is about as good a catfish as you will get at a takeout place. In my opinion it is much better than the other place across the street. I'm not a huge fan of the chicken fingers but I love the catfish and the fries are really good and crispy too read more

the food is always great, but the last TWO times i've gone to get roosters i have been able to walk completely through both doors, to inside & get told "we're closed." i think they should change their times online because it says 9p.m. last time i walked in @ 8:35 & this time tonight i walked in @ 8:33 i've left both times but other customers may not always be as nice about that, especially being able to walk completely into the restaurant to get told they're closed. my last restaurant job, my manager made us feed anyone walking in. even if it was right at our closing time & i mean closing time ON THE DOT .. we had to serve our guest wether we were ready to go home or not. read more
