Disappointed to say the least, I saw all the good google reviews and was looking for a new place to try so I figured it had to be good right? First let's start with the positive the service was pretty good and the people were very nice, loved the building itself and has a nice outdoor seating area, lighting is good and looks nice overall. Not let's talk about the food, not only is it very bland, but you do not get chips and salsa for the table for free. The salsa is just ok and the food leaves a lot to be desired it's very expensive for what you get, two steak tacos is like 15 bucks which is crazy I spent 85 dollars on lunch for two adults and two kids. Absolutely terrible food and expensive for Taco Bell quality. It's fast food order at the counter, not a sit down restaurant. Skip this place; Moe's and Chipotle are both 100% better. I had the puffy tacos which were very greasy. My wife had a chicken quesadilla which was soggy. The beans were actually pretty good. I was greeted and presented a menu as soon as I walked in. Alberto was very nice and very helpful. The restaurant looked like it was new. The dining room was clean. I ordered my food to go and it came out very fast. I went with the Mexican pizza because I've always loved the Taco Bell Mexican pizza. This one was slightly larger (more ingredients by portion) than the TB pizza but not worth the price tag in my opinion. It was tasty through. You also get a side dish with it. read more

I love this place! I finally stopped by for lunch and grabbed the #18 to go. It was delicious! I liked every aspect of the meal. The rice, the beans, the sauce, the tortillas, everything was great! Went there for lunch today: amazing little place. Their tortillas are to die for, and I ordered enchiladas with red sauce. Run, just run there. You won't be disappointed. If you are dissatisfied for any reason, inform the staff, and they will rectify the situation. The service was excellent, the people were nice, and their food was extremely tasty. I would take my mother there even though she makes better homestyle Mexican food, IMHO. Anyways, just go. I've waited (somewhat) patiently for Lola's to open their doors, and I can honestly say, it was worth the wait! From the fresh homemade corn and flour tortillas, to the variety of fresh ingredients to go in the tortillas, to the drinks (alcoholic and non!) to wash it all down, if you leave hungry, that's on you!! The proportions are sizable and match the cost (which is very reasonable!). Several levels of salsa heat, and chips that are freshly made and plentiful! Lola's has plenty of comfortable and welcoming seating indoors and out, but if you're in a hurry, grab your take-out in the drive thru! I tried the beef tacos and the cheese and beef gravy enchiladas. Both were delicious, although I could have stood to have them be warmer. Black bean corn salsa side was a small tablespoon serving that attests to the greatly over priced food per serving cost. It's even sadder knowing that this is related to Phil's(which is really good). I hate to leave this negative review. This restaurant is the kind where you walk up to the counter and order, pay then they bring your order to the table. Nothing fancy at all, which is fine. The employees and manager are VERY nice. The establishment is extremely clean. Now, the bad news. The food is very greasy. We had tacos Barria, chicken and ground beef (no crispy shell, only soft corn or flour tortillas). They are served in paper trays and there was a layer of accumulated grease in the bottom of each one. We also had chips and queso. The chips were really good (thin and crispy). The queso was not good. We tried 3 of their salsas (tampico, lolas specialty and tejana). If I had to eat one again (not likely) it would be the tejana. My wife had their house margarita and it had a funny taste to it which was not enjoyable. The beers were iced down cold and good because they were bottles. If you want another, get off the hard chair, grab your wallet and head back to the counter. Overall, the thing most warranted of remark were the friendly staff. We would not eat here again if they comped our entire meal. We were sick from the greasy food the rest of the night! This is the only location we have tried. read more
