The most delicious sub I have had recently. One of my friends sent me a notice about a free name-day sub. I went in and they were very helpful. I was in a hurry so I ate half of it in the car. I was caught by surprise that it was a heated sub, but that did not detract from its yumminess. The roll was soft, almost buttery. The Italian sub, though heated, had the right combination of cold cuts and toppings. I would have been just as happy to pay for the sub which I will do next time. See you soon, Firehouse! read more

If you have food sensitivities or allergies do not order online! I ordered a sandwich for pickup and asked for no mustard or onions. When my husband got home with the sandwich it had both mustard and onion. The sandwich was okay, but definitely not great. The veggies were 90% lettuce with a small piece of tomato. I also asked for chopped pickle, but if they added any I could not taste it. I don't think I will be back...subway is much better in my opinion! read more

They made me feel so good inside and I really felt cared for. my own family has never shown me that amount of care in my life. these people were so genuine and loving that it almost seemed to good to be true. I felt like a Disney princess waiting on my prince charming to save me. it was like I was dreaming. there they stood uniform and all. majestically gazing upon me in wonder and excitement as to what I would order. upon receiving that order they excitedly hustled away to begin to prepare the most banging order ever ordered at a fire house. these sandwiches were so hot and fire that we were in dire need of firemen to come put out the fire. Like most firehouse subs, this place can get a bit pricey, however, the quality of the food is very good! If you want the most bang for your buck, I would actually recommend their salads! They are massive and are a lot more filling than the sandwiches! My favorite is the Hook & Ladder Salad! read more

I miss eating here so much. They are always friendly and the sandwiches are delicious. The lady manager is really good and always makes sure customers are taken care of. This location has always been clean and a professional, friendly staff. I love the Italian sub, the combination of their sweet honey ham and the Italian dressing they put on the sandwich makes this sub unlike any I've had before. We tend to alternate between sub places, because each place makes a particular sandwich we (my family like). One of their signature subs is the Smokehouse Brisket, my mother gets this one regularly. She leaves off the mayo, as do I. This sandwich is so good we always get the large so we can eat some now and heat it up and finish it all up later. These subs can be messy, but they are consistently delicious at this location. I also love their touch screen mix-n-match drink machine. It might not be a big deal for most people, but it makes me feel like a kid again and at my age, that's always a plus. read more

Sub places always lose points with me when I ask for white bread and get whole wheat instead. They just automatically assume a veggie sub eater would also like whole wheat bread. No sir, I do not. I like my bread like I like my men: white, crusty and devoid of any nutrients. I decided not to bother with asking them to make it again. It's not a huge inconvenience to have a little more fibre in my diet I guess. The veggie hot sub was just ok. It wasn't too tasty, and it was quite messy. But overall, it was ok. What I DID like was their huge array of hot sauces you can choose from, all numbered from 1 to 10 on a scale of heat with 10 being the highest. But the highest I could find was a hot sauce labeled "Pain" which was a 9, which in conversion to the heat my palette is used to, turned out to actually be a 6. Luckily, they had sriracha as a familiar and trusty back up. read more

Good place to get a sandwich. I agree with Dashiell, the price isn't bad and its much better than Subway. The selection of hot sauces are also a plus for me, and they don't charge you to use them. Very clean restaurant as well, as many times as I've been in here it has never been nasty. That's including when its raining and muddy outside. read more
