To the owner. You need to protect your investment and come by this location. Disgusting. Floor dirty, dead roach and broken toilet in the bathroom where "the door locks" other had a sign "door doesn't lock". Staff friendly but no caps or hairnets, person behind me in line got a receipt slapped on top of their inner sandwich. One guy making sandwiches while 4 other staff members watched. Line backed up while making an online order. Bathroom door was also sticky on the wood portion (nasty) FYI. It is franchise so to a certain degree sandwich about par and similar to every other location except mikes way is "minimal mikes way." Great place for delicious subs. Actually, they have the best subs in Madison County, to me. My favorites are the Big Kahuna Steak (or Chicken) and cheese. A regular size sub is plentiful and you're given a good amount of meat. Unlike those subs that are served with more bread than anything. They have yet to disappoint me. read more

This is a terribly run establishment. They rush you through. While they are cutting the meats, the next person is wanting to know your toppings all while the cashier is rushing you to pay. Then they make your sandwich wrong because you are unable to watch them make your food because you are rushed out of line. You also get overcharged as you are not able to concentrate with everybody talking to you at once! The manager "Sandy" is a real piece of work. I got a number 8 minus the ham. I've been a sub fan since growing up in South Jersey across the river from Philadelphia, and I've eaten in all the sub shops in Madison County. My first choice is Jersey Mike's. They serve the most generous portions of the entree and heap everything else on generously. Their bread has great texture and is exceptionally tasty and snuggly holds the contents securely. My favorites are the Tuna Fish and The Original Italian but they are all great. I've never had a hot one but my preference will be the Grilled Pastrami Reuben. Someday! I've also never experienced the slow service some have posted about here in the past. I have found their servers to always be polite and welcoming. I also don't go at busy times. If they did have a problem at some shop in the past, I haven't at any of my meals around Huntsville/Madison! read more

I came back for the philly steak sub but they were out of the steak. It took a few minutes before they acknowledge a person is standing in front of them. It took another 20 minutes between paying and getting the chicken philly sub. It seems their priority is making subs for carryout for folks who don't get there within 15 minutes but make the customers inside having to wait. read more

The absolute worst customer service ever. I wish I could say nice things about the food but I was unable to make it that far. I was walking towards the door around 8:40 pm and saw that they close at 9 pm. I thought that was reasonable as I have worked in the service industry nearly all my life. But as I approached the door I witnessed an employee behind the counter begin to throw a fit as he realizes that I was potential customer so close to closing. 20 minutes before they close! For a sandwich! Not full table service with cooked meals but a sandwich shop. I continue to ask "Is it okay if I get a sandwich" as I'm met with the cold stare of the employee who was obviously disgusted by my business. The other employee said "Sure. What can I get you?" As the, previously mentioned, rude employee gives me a cold stare. We love this place! Best sandwiches in town. We tend to eat at Jersey Mike's once every 1 to 2 weeks. They have some of the friendliest staff. My kids love it and with the app you can order ahead of time and skip the line for pickup. When you have hungry kids this is always helpful. Would recommend this place to anybody. read more

The subs and wraps are always good, but the service is incredibly slow. If there are more than 3 people in line when you get there, turn around and go elsewhere. I am writing this as I am waiting for my wrap, and I have seen several people walk in the door, look at the line, and walk out again. It has been this way for a long time, and they can't seem to fix the problem (if they are even aware of it). I started coming to this location because the one on University is even slower. It was my first time in Jersey Mike's I told the girl I had never ordered before so I didn't really know what I was doing thinking she would explain or at least give me some suggestions or direction. She didn't, just told me to take my time. I decided to order 2 reg philly cheese steak and I was going to order toppings. She stopped me and said hold on a minute I have to write this down if you want extra toppings. She had to get a pad and pen. I told her on the first one I wanted lettuce tomato and onions. She said there is already grilled onions on it did I really want more onions? They are usually ordered as is. So I said ok never mind the toppings I'll just take them as is. By the way I was the only customer in the store. It's not like she was busy. I have to tell you I will never go back there...the customer service paled in comparison to the sandwich. My husband and I bit into the sandwiches and it was like someone dropped the salt shaker into them.
