Good morning. Seems like this place is going backwards... I am writing this review not so much about the food served here or the cleanliness of the establishment, but about the archaic and unjust working conditions the franchise owner places on the staff. I went in for lunch on 5/15/26 and had to wait almost 30 minutes before my order was even taken. There were only two employees working to serve both walk-in and drive-through customers. One gentleman, Damison, was working his tail off; taking drive-through orders, pushing food out the window, making repeated trips to the vehicle holding area to deliver food to waiting customers, and occasionally taking fly by counter orders. His performance in this difficult scenario was phenomenal. The other employee (Abdul?), seemed like a one trick pony, floating around the kitchen area. I did observe him bring out a tray of chicken, so maybe he had other responsibilities I wasn't aware of. He might be a wonderful employee but with Damison formidable tasks at hand he was not able to provide Abdul with any guidance on how to take, process, serve and or move customers. What I do know is that Damison kept his cool while dealing with several visibly irritated customers, myself included, though I remained silent. The franchise owner or manager should have taken action to provide some relief to these men during the busiest part of the day, lunch, but instead appeared to do absolutely nothing except count profits. If employee call outs caused this shortage and delay in service, management should have taken actions to mitigate. If the Colonel were still alive, he would be rolling in his grave over this kind of exploitation. I have always enjoyed KFC's food, so this is difficult for me to say, but I will not support another KFC until management starts treating employees and customers with more respect. Customers need to take a stand, and the only way to get management's attention is through avoidance. Let your conscience be your guide. read more

Ate at this helpful, hospitable KFC while traveling. Appreciated the friendly service from people who seemed to care about their customers. Great value and tasty crispy chicken 2-piece meal with mashed potatoes, gravy, biscuit, drink and two mini apple turnovers. All for $7 during KFC's $7 Fill-ups. We all really enjoyed it! HORRIBLE!! How do you have a drive thru attendant that cannot hear ? She didn't repeat my order back for accuracy, nor did she let me know that they were out of menu items that are featured on promotion. To top it off I was charged more that $45 for an inaccurate, inedible meal, that I was denied a receipt!! NEEDS NEW MANAGEMENT AND NEEDS TO TREAT CUSTOMERS WITH DIGNITY AND RESPECT. Forever, if I wanted a fried chicken sandwich, I would go to Chick-fil-a. Not anymore. In fact, I haven't been there since I discovered the KFC chicken sandwich. It started with a trip to Lowe's. We were in a rush to get one place to another and since KFC shares a parking lot with Lowe's, we thought we'd drive through and grab lunch. We hadn't been to KFC for years and didn't know the menu. There was only one sandwich on the menu so we decided to try it. Fantastic idea! The sandwich is a large, extra juicy, piece of chicken that is fried extra crispy. It's served with mayo and pickles on an always fresh bun. (There is an option for a spicy sandwich which trades the mayo for a spicy-spicy sauce). We've since had several of the sandwiches at various KFC's around the country and they are consistently great. Now the Madison KFC is special. We just happen to always have the same lady serving us at the drive thru. (I don't know her name but she sometimes wears a Tinkerbell hoody - you know who you are!!) She's always so sweet and makes us feel like we're the best customers that she's seen all day - I bet she makes everyone feel the same. I'm not sure if the dining room is open since we always drive thru but the service is always quick, the parking lot always clean and the sandwich always awesome. We have become regulars. I'm currently sitting on a plane writing this and instead of this lousy snack mix, I'm craving a KFC chicken sandwich! Guess I'll have to find a KFC when I land... read more

i wish I had looked at the reviews before we ordered. we ordered the 2 chicken sandwiches, corn, Cole slaw, 10 nuggets, 1 Dr Pepper and one Starry. the chicken sandwiches were not freshly cooked. they were not crispy. the nuggets were not freshly cooked. they were stale. the coleslaw was old and not freshly made. we spent $29 and it was a waste of our money. i will not be back. we also purchased the strawberry cheesecake bites and they were not good. they were doughy. bye KFC This is the location in Madison, AL on Madison Blvd read more

Took a chance on getting dinner, and the food was absolutely the worst chicken I have ever tried to eat. Didn't even try the wings that came in the 8-piece meal deal. Should have put it back in the bucket and took it back and got a refund. Will never eat at this KFC or possibly any other. Mashed Potatoes and Cole Slaw were good, biscuits hard as bricks. Said there was an hour wait for any chicken when I was at the speaker. I drove 50 minutes for kfc because that's what my pregnancy craving was and I don't live near one so I ordered a family bucket anyways. Asked them for the total at the speaker 2 or 3 times because I wasn't the one paying for it and they would not tell me they would just ignore me finally they told me to pull forward and the people at the window were just god awful. Cleaner and neater tonight than your average fast food place. I'll upgrade them to a three and a half. Typical KFC. We tried the Grilled Chicken Breast meal tonight. It has less fat than fried, but is still tasty. Especially with honey mustard dipping sauce, 2 sides and a biscuit. Well came here because it was walking distance from my hotel. Place had one couple eating in dinning room another waiting on food no one in drive thru when I walked up. I ordered a number 2 with a extra breast which the extra breast cost extra nothing new there. But when I got my meal it was handed to me in a to go bag and box. I was never asked either way. So I went to table and no salt and pepper at tables. Walk back up to counter to ask for more and had to stand there for roughly 3 mins before anyone asked what I needed. She was to busy on her phone. Guess that's more important than customer service. So I got my salt and pepper went back to table got my meal out of bag ripped box apart so I could have some what of a plate to eat off of. Breast were very small. If I pay extra for breast don't give me breast that are the size of a thigh and a wing ridiculous! Then I bite into what should be a excellent meal and the breast are so dry I would have thought I was eating chicken flavored cotton. Not sure if service and food is always this bad but I won't be back to find out. read more

I wish I could leave no stars but I don't have that choice. This has to be the worst fast food restaurant in Madison County hands-down. I love KFC but I can't find a decent place to buy it. My last visit was a mistake because I could tell when driving up there was no one there. This was at aproximately 4 PM on a weekday afternoon. I went thru the drive-through and the lady on the other end was nothing but rude to me asking me several times what I ordered in a sarcastic manner and then several times asking me what I wanted to drink. I ordered a big box with white chicken, slaw, and mac & cheese with a Pepsi. When I received my order at the window, I knew that she had overcharged me because I buy this number 8 all the time when I go to the KFC on 72, but it wasn't much, so I overlooked it. I got my order and I received a Mountain Dew and three pieces of dark meat which were all micro size stale pieces of chicken. When she handed the $10 change back to me, she acted like she didn't want to touch my hands or touch me or the money because it was going to me because I was what? I experienced what I call anti-whiteism. Who puts people like this at a food service drive-through window if they are openly racist? This was the last chance and I'll never return. Stopped in to grab something for dinner. As soon as I get in, I hear someone in the back threatening to "bust your ass" (presumably to another employee). The employee at the register never greeted me or asked what I wanted--just stood there impatiently as if my patronage was a nuisance. I felt immensely unwelcome and was going to leave but the manager (I'm assuming) greeted me and I decided to give them a chance. The lady begrudgingly took my order and unceremoniously dropped my food on the counter-- not even so much as a "thank you" or "have a good night". The meal was mostly disappointing--thanks, no doubt, to the food being haphazardly tossed into the containers, and further tossed into the bag. Few things scream quality like a soggy, barbecue-sauce-soaked biscuit. In hindsight, I should have listened to my instincts and gone over to Zaxby's. Lesson learned. read more

order placed at 5:21 pm only 4 people inside. received my meal of 4 thighs, 1 coleslaw, 1 corn, 1 mac & cheese. 61 minutes later. and upon review of order instead of the 4 thighs, I got 1 breast 1 wing 1 leg, 1 thigh. and no cole slaw. Drive to madison! it's KFC is much better!!! read more

On the doors it says the dining area closes at 9, which is already early for being near an airport and in a hotel parking lot for a fast food place. Walked there in 20f weather to get food at 800pm, for all the doors to be locked. On a wednesday. Management and employee training, non existent. Customer service, none. read more

Oh my goodness, what a terrible experience. My husband and I stopped in at the KFC in Madison, Alabama Friday, November 9th at 3 pm. There was no one in the dining room eating, store was very dirty, but we were hungry and this is a chain so how bad could it be? My husband noticed a tub of potato salad on the floor.... there were 3 people working. One on the drive-thru, one filling mashed potatoes into containers and the clerk up front. We gave our order, tried to fill our drinks up, no ice. She could have just given us ice from the drive-thru so that we would have our drinks, but no. She went back and got the tub of ice and filled up the ice machine, a couple of times. We sat down and waited. Another customer came in (all 3 employees knew her) and she got her boxed meals and drinks and left. My husband said that maybe her food took less time then ours. I still didn't see anyone making our food. After about 10 minutes, I went up and asked if they had started making our food???? No, "I forgot". And she pulls 2 chicken pieces out of fridge and says it will only take a minute.... I said no, we are going to leave. (After noticing how nasty this place was, I didn't want to put their food in my body) I asked for a refund and she disappeared. Evidentially the lady over the drive-thru is either manager or assistant, either way, she didn't look at the order on the screen and see it hadn't been filled. She unlocked the register and gave us refund and asked if we wanted the meal for free. No thank you, I told her we we would go to Chic Fe La. she looked at her clerk and said we had been waiting 12 minutes????? She said she had to fill the ice back up, Manager had to tell her customer comes first? I said y'all filled another lady's order that came after us and she was already gone! We left, Chic Fe La is always clean, has plenty of employees and always thanks us and food is delicious. We would have gone there if there was one near us in Madison on the way out of town. I have been going to this KFC almost every week for over a year. new staff service has cratered. Tonight I went for the Wednesday special with an extra piece. through drive thru. they forgot the extra piece. I go back say the extra piece is a thigh, grilled, they state no grilled left so I ask for original, they give me grilled breast, I go back again, they tell me I asked for a breast. I never eat white chicken meat! i tell no and ask for my money back only for the 1 piece they screwed up. I would have left mad but not post here if they had fixed immediately without attitude.
