I recently tried Lost Pizza Co. in Madison and was pleasantly surprised by the experience. Originally started in Mississippi, Lost Pizza Co. has grown into a regional chain with around 30 locations across the South. I ordered takeout online through Toast, which made the whole process incredibly easy. I was able to use Apple Pay and customize my pizzas without any hassle. My order was ready for pickup in about 30 minutes, and picking it up at the counter was quick and convenient. From the outside, the restaurant is an unassuming storefront in a strip mall, but the inside is anything but ordinary. It's packed with character, with lots of antiques, neon lights, and unique decor that give the space a fun, funky vibe. There's also plenty of seating if you want to dine in. For the food, I ordered a pizza split between the Beekeeper and the Kujo on thin crust, along with an order of cheesy bread. Everything was delicious! I'd definitely go back and am looking forward to trying more of the menu in the future. read more

Headed over to Madison and decided to give this location a try. Clean with a funky vibe. You go up to the bar and order then grab a seat. I ordered the thin crust "Beekeeper" and my wife built her own. We also tried the cheese sticks. Got our drinks and grabbed a seat. Plenty of TVs and nice music, sort of a sports bar type feel. Cheese sticks came out first. Thicker crust. Lots of melted cheese and garlic. Served with a warm marinara. These were excellent. Had the marinara been dappled on top I would have called this a great "grandma" pie! Pizza came out fairly quickly. Not super thin, but a light cracker type crust. Cupping pepperoni was crisp and flavorful. Cheese was smooth and rich. Honey drizzle gave a hint of sweet. Basil should have been placed after the cook but was still good. Undercarriage was a little light but still crisp. My wife got the Alfredo base with pepperoni and pineapple. Her words "I have found my new favorite pizza place!" Pizza felt like a Bar style. Both pizzas were great, this time we made sure to get a medium. Overall excellent meal! Will be back! read more

I visited here last Tuesday with my mom. This is a relatively new pizza restaurant that opened maybe around a year ago in a medium-sized shopping center. I went to undergrad at Mississippi State University in Starkville and there was a Lost Pizza there; I think this is a small chain that got its start in Mississippi, actually. It certainly shows in the fun, bluesy, Delta-influenced decor. The vibes are great! I was a little surprised, though not displeased, to find that this is an order at the counter joint. The cashiers were bubbly and nice. Our order took a short time to come out but nothing crazy. Drinks are self-service and the drink cups are cute. There's plenty of room to find a more private place to sit. We split the spinach and artichoke dip appetizer and a small Beekeeper pizza, which I get the impression is limited-time. It comes with pepperoni, basil, and a drizzle of honey. You can choose between thin or thick crust, which is nice; we went for thin. The spinach and artichoke dip came out first. It was a pretty bougie take on the appetizer, with a thick layer of melted mozzarella on top and a couple of red pepper flakes throughout that made it punchy. It was crazy hot temperature-wise too. The chips were very thin and had some trouble breaking through the mozz on top and frequently broke when trying to dip. We wound up using a fork to break up the cheese and then scoop dip onto our chips. That helped a lot. Our pizza came out shortly afterwards. We ordered a small. I will agree with other reviewers who said the small is *quite* small. If you came with an appetite, it'd be on the small side for a meal. That said, for our purposes, it was a great size to split with the dip for a more reasonably sized lunch portion. The pizza was quite good. Not overly saucy, with crispy crust and gooey cheese. The pepperoni cups were crispy and delightfully greasy, and the honey on top was a great addition that complemented the flavors well. I'd happily reorder this pizza. Overall, definitely a chill place to grab a pie and hang out! Would be happy to try some tamales some time too. Made me nostalgic for MSU even though I never made it to the Lost Pizza there; job well done of recreating the "feel" of the state. A nice visit for sure! read more

Great spot for families and friends to enjoy a nice casual meal. The pizza options are great, awesome salads and sandwiches too! Awesome location in the heart of Madison across from City Hall and in the strip mall with "Just love Coffee ", Jeremiah's , and the Trash Panda store. Service is usually very good, but the tables can fill up quickly during Friday and Saturday. It's a little pricey for what it is (pizza), but I've never left having had a bad experience. read more

Stopped in to check this place out; I love pizza and hadn't been before. This place looks unassuming from the outside but is very quirky and a little hip on the inside. Much bigger than the outside would leave you to belive. I ordered a large pepperoni and Italian with the thick crust (thin is the other option) and it came out very quickly despite being the lunch rush over the holiday. The pizza cheese came up to the edge of the crust and there was plenty of sauce. Taste wise there was something missing I couldn't quite place that kept it from being perfect, but it was still good. Ok - expensive Pizza - 17.00 for 10 wings. Counter help doesn't know what a "wing" is they give you a price quote for wings and then tell you they boneless. Which in proper English means nothing more than a chicken McNugget dipped in hot sauce how insulting. It's sad, especially for a buffalo native to watch people claim to have wings and their staff doesn't know the difference between wings and nuggets I give him praise for the pizza but sadly if you want good pizza and wings try Raphael's - you get a much better deal Good customer service in a decent price. . Ordered a few items here after a long drive into town. Had a thicker crust pizza and a thin crust pizza. They were both just okay. Garlic cheese bread was ok, probably better eaten hot from the oven, not after a drive back to the hotel. Fried ravioli and mozzarella bites were typical fresh from the freezer. I didn't enjoy anything enough to come back. Interior was atypical for a pizza place with random stuff all over the walls. Also emphasized by the fact somehow they have tamales on the menu. Any more its hard to find dine in pizza places. This place has good atmosphere. Booths, tables and high tops. I found the food as expected. Neither bad or good. I wanted a pizza and got The Islander. Bacon, pineapple and roasted red peppers. Never been a fan of red peppers. But knew what I was getting. Lots of families with kids, which were fine. Just be aware. Id rate the food as 3.5. But the booths had cushions. If you know from my previous reviews, not a fan of hard surfaces. Along with the easy atmosphere, I rate overall a 4. Lost Pizza is always good. But sometimes we can't get past our tried and true and we never look at their other offerings . So take my advice and try their tamales. Their tamales are like my Mama use to make. My eyes tear up from the melange of spices and heat that goo into these corn blankets of pulled pork. I like the ambiance and decor. I found myself walking around and looking at the photos and memorabilia on the walls and hanging from the ceiling. We had great service and the food was served quickly. Also, the prices were reasonable. I had the meat pizza and I liked the taste and appearance. My only complaint was the pizza sauce was a little off, and difficult to describe, but I was not a fan of the sauce. Will I return? Yes, I will try them again. Nicecly decorated with nostalgic items from the 70s and 80s. The pizzas were very good, although a little salty. The small pizza is probably the smallest I've seen at a pizza restaurant. It is right-sized for a petite or light eater but may not be enough for a teen or typical adult. The service was good but they expect you to tip when placing your order, which I do not do. The food here is amazing. Very, very good marinara sauce. Something truly hard to find outside of an Italian community. The toasted ravioli was as good as my St Louis roots. So hard to find them are not made with cheese ravioli. In St. Louis you get the death penalty for that. Perfect toasting, meat filled, just the way they are supposed to be. Sprinkle some Parmesan generously and perfection on a plate. I got the Otis pizza. Sort of their version of the meat lovers. My wife went with the Hot Chick. Both were amazing. The thin crust was perfect, crispy but not burnt. I really recommend this place. Great menu, wonderful food, attentive staff, and eclectic atmosphere. From the outside it looks small, but as the pictures show, plenty of seats inside. Be sure to check them out. Trust me, I know Italian food. This is top notch. read more

We tried out Lost Pizza today. I was very impressed with what we ordered. The wings were nice and crispy with a great tasting buffalo sauce on them. The pizza was very very good. The toppings were all very good and nicely cut, not huge chunks of uncooked veggies. We will definitely be back to try different pizzas and extras! The atmosphere is pretty cool as well. The menu is very small print hanging from the ceiling, so bring your glasses! Side note, the app doesn't include the Madison location yet. I'm glad to see Lost Pizza in town. I went to the location in Pensacola several years ago. This restaurant has the same great service, same great atmosphere, and of course, the same great food! We had the thin crust Kujo. Cooked perfectly and served by a very nice, friendly server. We Can't wait to come back and try something different. We tried Lost Pizza the other night and it was pretty good. First I will say the service was spot on, you order at the counter and they deliver the food to your table. Food was delivered very quickly. Kid ordered spaghetti and meatballs (came with side salad) and said it was very good. Reasonable price at $13.99. Husband and I ordered a pizza with thick crust. It was good but I think we would have preferred the thin crust. Price of pizza was reasonable for a large. Ambiance of restaurant is nice, it's decorated and the seats are comfortable.
