It's a chain, but certain locations have different flavors so it's worth it to check online ahead of time what they have here. I'm a fan of coconut ice cream, and the "almond chocolate coconut" flavor really impressed me. It was a mix of coconut and chocolate ice creams and they paired really well together. I wish there were more locally made ice cream shops around, but this one wasn't bad at all. My kid is an Oreo fanatic and seemed to like his cookies and cream. I don't know if I'd make a drive specifically for this spot, but if I had a meal out here and was looking for a dessert I wouldn't count Bruster's out of the running.

Tonight after dinner nearby, we popped by Rainbow Cone to get our fix and it did not disappoint. Two promptly made small Rainbow Cones. They were quite tasty. We usually go inside to enjoy our cones but it's cold in there and I didn't have a jacket with me so we ate in the rental car. Work out just fine. Thank's Rainbow Cone - see you again next trip!

The raspberry lemonade sorbet is a delicious dairy free option that is super creamy for a sorbet and perfectly refreshing for a summer night. I did sneak one or two bites of my partner's original rainbow cone, and it is such an interesting combination of flavors! At first, it feels like they don't go together, but after sitting with it for a bit, I started to get on board. I think the one flavor that stands out as not really blending well with the rest is the orange sherbet for me, but overall it's a unique take on ice cream!

Everyone working there genuinely looks like they like working there. They're kind and give suggestions. They understate how large everything is, but that maybe a good thing so they could up sell. The negative experience for me was that I was aching for a sprinkle dipped cone. I got a large ice cream and dipped. It turns out it's hard to dip a cone that is beyond large (I was told it was going to be smaller which is why I ordered the L, but that's ok). The dude that took care of my cone tried real hard to cater to my needs, which made this a better experience, but if you grew up with a dipped cone, then you know the lively taste of a dipped cone. The flavor of the soft serve was good too, but it didn't have the smooth consistency I was looking for. It's hard to explain what I'm trying to say...it could've been smoother. I'll try this place again with a smaller cone, but everyone enjoyed their cones. You could get different varieties of dipped and sundaes. They also have hot food and I want to try that out.

We came in for shakes and left completely blown away. I had the churro shake, my sons had the banana and Oreo -- all three were incredible. Not your average ice cream shop shakes. These things are next level. The shop also has a very cool old school ice cream shop vibe. But honestly, what made the experience was the two people working. A young lady and a young man who were both so attentive, patient, and genuinely helpful. They let us try a few flavors before we ordered, walked us through everything, and never made us feel rushed. That kind of customer service is rare anywhere, let alone at an ice cream shop. If you're in the area and haven't been here yet, you're missing out. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommend.

This is a cute little downtown area, and unfortunately, it's barren on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. Which worked well for us as we showed up and no one was there. Just us, which gave us plenty of time to sample the various flavors, and chat with the person working in this cute little ice cream shop. They can make all these cute shakes and sundaes with all kinds of toppings, but seeing as we aren't young kids, there's no way we could eat confections such as what I listed above. Instead, we got to try their various flavors. Thinking back, I believe I got a watermelon ice cream. I could be wrong. However, I do remember how juicy, fruity, and sweet the ice cream was. Not sweet like overly sweetened lemonade that puckers one's lips, but like the sweet sensation of a perfectly ripe watermelon, bursting with succulent. flavor. It was like that. And man was it good! If I lived in Riverside or close by, I would be there all the time. So thankfully, we were out for a drive and wanted some ice cream and found this cute little shop. They have a few small tables inside, but what makes this a town square right out of the 1950s are the cute little wireframe tables and chairs they had outside along the sidewalk so you can sit and enjoy your cone, and people watch. And we did just that. If I'm nearby again someday, I'll definitely pop in and grab a delicious cone. There flavor options were plentiful, whimsical, and flavorful. However, for the time being, I'll just post this review and hope others pop in to enjoy the cones and flavors they're providing.
