Many customers, both dine in and drive thru, were approaching the counter asking about their orders placed 20-30 minutes prior. Initially, I asked for a refund, but was told by both an employee and the manager they couldn't do it and I had to call "the number"--they didn't specify what number or who I needed to call. I decided to just wait since they said they'd prioritize my order. I finally received my food 30 minutes past the time I scheduled for pick up. Culver's is a solid fast food option if you're in the mood for some quick, unhealthy food. I think they are a little expensive for what they are, but the fries are really crispy and the cheese curds are A++. I like that they bring the food out to you with Chik-fil-a like service model. I also like that they have recycling bins, but not much of their food packaging can actually be recycled. At least they try. The real reason to come here is probably their ice cream or "custard" as they call it. They have a freezer where you can buy it to take home. I'm not eating any sweets right now, so I can't vouch for it personally. My mom says it's great, though. If I fall off the wagon and start eating them again, I'll likely be making a trip back here. read more

It's been a year since I swore to stop wasting hard earned money at Culver's, where they almost always get my simple orders wrong. However, events conspired to have me stop there for take out dinner two weeks ago. As is typical, they screwed up my order yet again. It happens just about every time I order at the drive thru. The drive thru order window is either broken or they deliberately do not show the order, just a logo. The order taker made doubles out of the two single burgers I ordered and made the regular onion rings a large instead of a regular size. I believe that was done deliberately. The prices seemed high, and when I questioned them, was told that they were correct. Maybe, but not for what I ordered. The franchise owner, Bill Lewis, should be ashamed of himself and what he has his employees do to screw customers. Corporate does not respond either when confronted with local franchise owners' misbehavior. I have seldom seen such obviously crooked business practices in a fast food restaurant. read more

So I just ate the worst thing ever!!! I didn't just narrow it down to burgers and I think I'd rather eat sheep balls; which are triple sacked before eating another Culver's burger! Couldn't even eat half a cheeseburger! This was the driest burger with a flat top grill crust I've ever had. In all seriousness, It was like chewing on my shoe! How is this a chain? I am a native of the Midwest and was so excited to see that a Culver's had opened up in Atlanta! I have such fun memories of going here with family to get a butter burger and custard! My experience at this Culver's was just so-so; I think they still have some organizing to do since recently opening. The store was packed- we waited in line for a while to order, had a hard time finding a table, and then waited a while longer for our food to come. The food was not quite as tasty as I remember, although the custard was delicious. I ordered one of the patty melts and a raspberry cheesecake custard. ONE STAR FOR ATROCIOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ATTITUDE FROM MANAGEMENT. Never been to a Culver's before this, so I figured I'd give it a try - drove 20 minutes out of my way to do so. They had a long cluster of a drive through line that has horrific flow and tries to merge two lines into one, and the line kept getting longer on both ends. Folks were parked out front with numbers waiting for their food. Seemed like absolutely nobody was getting served. Lucky for me, they had a sign on the door that said "dining room now open" which is pretty new given all the covid stuff going on. Parked, tried to open the door, and it was locked. Then I saw the fine print - it was open this day beginning at 5:30.... it's 5:32. No big deal, they're probably about to unlock it shortly. I go back and sit in my car with my wife and kids. Then a worker walks out to hand out coupons or something to the line of 20 cars waiting. I politely rolled down my window and said "excuse me sir, is your dining room open?" With an attitude, he popped his head up and said "it doesn't open until 5:30!" ... thought I was going mental, so I checked my phone, my watch, the dash clock - all said 5:32... so I responded "it's 5:32, sir" to which he replied "NO ITS NOT, it's 5:15" .... I checked again since he's being so aggressive about it... "Uhm, yes sir. It's 5:32". He seemed shocked and said "oh is it?"... bro. 5:32 is an oddly specific time, isn't it? Think somebody would just make that up?? You're hands down the densest person I've met all day. He then shouted "well I don't have all my staff here yet!" Uhm, isn't your staff suppose to be there like 15 minutes before you actually need them? Soo they're ALL late? He then went and handed out coupons to all the vehicles behind me in the drive through line, conveniently skipping my car but walking right behind me. Nice one! You sure showed me!! For years, as I've done road trips and driven on interstates, I've seen Culver's logos on signs, but never actually been to one before. I have a dog who's breeder fed it a very specific food, so it was decided that for familiarity and consistency, my wife and I would feed it the same thing (Tractor Supply). However, that also sometimes means we need to drive out a little bit to acquire more of it, whenever we fail to realize we need more and don't order it online and have it delivered. It was on one of these pet food excursions did we pass a Culver's, and made a point to hit it up on the way back. This particular Culver's is located on US-41 Cobb Parkway, just as you begin to leave the civilization of Kennesaw, and begin on that desolate stretch that separates Kennesaw from Acworth. I suppose the easiest way to get to this if not directly on US-41 would be off of the Barrett Pkwy or Chastain Rd. exits off of I-75 and/or I-575. I should mention that this review is based on a drive-thru experience as due to the pandemic, I don't dine in, anywhere. The parking lot is a little wonky of one-way winding and the drive-thru narrow. Each time I've been, the people taking the orders are cheery and speak clearly, and it's a breeze to order and for them to confirm my orders. Unlike lots of other fast food joints, Culver's makes everything to order, and to eliminate individual cars plugging up the entire drive-thrus, they have a fairly clever system of giving you a number, and asking you to pull into a numbered spot where someone will eventually come and bring you your order. The price point of Culver's isn't Taco Bell cheap, but it's definitely noticeably higher than a Wendy's. Getting a burger/fries/drink combo for two people will push you closer to $20 than $10 but the quality more than makes up for the cost, as everything I've had there so far has been fresh and delicious, despite the general reputation of fast food. Bonus points because they have cheese curds, which are a great alternative to fries and even tater tots, as much as I love the latter. Their burgers are greasy and messy, but this is basically the reason why you're coming here in the first place, so I don't use any of those descriptions as negative. The flavor is fantastic, the portions are generous, and when I was craving a good cheeseburger, Culver's really hit the spot. The best part is that this isn't a place that is a once-off visit for me. Given the fact that my dogs will periodically need food, it's not really a chore to go get more, when there's a Culver's trip built right in that makes it worth it. read more

A typical and decent representation of the franchise. The burger was good, although (like their other locations) the fries could be cooked just a bit more. They are not undercooked, but not golden or as crispy as other competitors have achieved. The fountain could use a little bit of tuning as the drinks were very foamy. Service was good and getting another cup required for a refill wasn't an issue. The establishment appears to be new and therefore very clean. Seating is spacious and comfortable. The cashier was friendly, appeared to be clean and even had matching blue nails to match her uniform which I thought were a bit long to be working with food but cute all the same. My food was piping hot and exactly how I ordered it. I love that the edges of my patty had a subtle crunch. I'm not sure why it's called a butter burger because I didn't really taste butter. Everything tasted fresh and the meat tasted like what I paid for. $: I found this to be a extremely cheap meal. I don't frequent fast food often so I'm not sure if their prices are comparable but for my Deluxe Single Butter Cheeseburger and Mini Concrete with PB Cup, BFinger, and Salted Caramel were only $6.66 and very filling. Every place has its specialty and for Culver's it's the ice cream/shakes and ice coolers (which are seasonal to summer). As a native Midwesterner, I'm very familiar with Culver's, so it was nice to know that there is one not far from where we live. If you go here, expect a wait. It's a part of the experience of having fresh food. Choices and trade offs. I don't mind waiting for hot fries and sandwiches. The burgers and fries are nothing earth-shattering and there is definitely better, but from a "fast food" perspective it's one of the best. The cheese curds are also another signature Midwest style item. Think chopped up mozzarella sticks lol. I can't get enough of it! Aside from that, order a peach and strawberry lemon ice cooler and thank me later! It's so refreshing and heavenly in these extremely hot summer sun. I don't live relatively close to a Culver's but I've heard that the ice cream was good so on a rare warm day in February, in my bout of spring fever, I was in the Kennesaw area and decided to avail myself to the opportunity to try out a new spot. OMG am I glad I did! I ordered a few things to sample: a bacon double cheeseburger combo, turtle sundae, and cod fish sandwich. The fish was hot and fresh and the ice cream was cold and decadent just like they're supposed to be! I managed to snap a picture of the sundae but after taking one bite of that hot fish sandwich, I was halfway through before I realized that I didn't get a photo! This used to be a good place to go for a fish dinner. I got one yesterday, and it was literally dripping in grease. It took four paper towels to soak up the grease in each piece of fish. Ordered a fish sandwich basket and this is what we received (an overcooked piece of fish without the bread on top). The burger meal I ordered was made wrong as well (none of the requested toppings and the sandwichwas disheveled). I called after getting home and discovering the poorly crafted meal. I first talked to a young man named Chris who said he was the Manager. I told him my issue and he said hold on left me on hold for quite a long time. I have loved Culver's for years. I'm originally from Illinois, so have known of them for decades. Always loved their pork tenderloins, but they have gotten into the bad habit of over-cooking them (Kennesaw, GA location). Have to use a hammer and chisel to cut them. Hard as rock, and cooked to a very dark brown. Their fries are the BEST of any fast-food place, and their frozen custard delights can't be beat!! I ordered a Deluxe without cheese. I received (took it back to work) and found that it is just two pieces of "meat", no condiments, no lettuce, no Tomatoe, no pickle. Had lunch at Culver's in Kennesaw today. Ordered the cod sandwich with fries and a drink. The cod sandwich was one of the best I have ever had. It was so crispy on the outside and so tender and moist on the inside. The fries that came with it were delicious also. It was served on a roll that seemed a step up from a regular bun. All in all everything was delicious! The restaurant was very clean also...service and employees were very helpful and nice.
