This coffee shop is located in a shopping center in the cut. I was greeted upon entrance by wonderful baristas they were friendly and knowledgeable. I was in Kennesaw song a little shopping and figure I would check out a new coffee shop. I don't particularly care for the location of the shop. It's in a small plaza. I can see parking being an issue on days that all of the businesses are open. However, I arrived close to closing time and had no problem parking directly in front of the shop. When I entered I immediately appreciated the decor. It gives tropical rainforest vibes! When I appreciated the counter I was greeted. There were two staff present. The gentleman appears to be a more seasoned employee and the female appeared to be in training. After looking at the menu I opted for a pistachio latte with oat milk and empanadas. I was told that they would be closing shortly. I believe I had about 30 min prior to closing time. This was more than enjoy time for me to drink a drink and eat my food. As such, I opted to dine in. The empanadas came out first. They were not my style. The pastry part was more like a corn bread consistency. I am accustomed to to emphasis being more of a dough like consistency. Additionally they tasted like something you just pull out the freezer and warm up. I would not order them again. When the drink arrived I had to confirm it was pistachio because I saw chocolate everywhere. The staff immediately recalled that I did not want whole milk and told me he had to re- make my drink. When it arrived for the second time the presentation was the same- it looked like a chocolate drink and not pistachio. When I took a sip I was shocked to find chunks of pistachios in the drink. I had to drink and eat the drink- interesting concept. I will say that the coffee taste on its own may be okay- however, collectively I was not a fan of this drink. I got the caramel ice cinnamon with espresso and it's not overly sweet. It has real chunks of cinnamon in it and it's very good. Very relaxing atmosphere nicely decorated very good music. I can see myself study in here and just chillaxing. The barista made my coffee, superb and it was very nice. read more

I forgot the names of what I got but the coffee drink was exceptional. The sandwich was well made with turkey and vegetables and cheese inside. Not sure what the "bread" was. It was good though. This placed opened up by my house. We decided to try it on sat morning but the line was long. We had somewhere to go but knew we would be back. We back one day during the week and it did not disappoint. We orders some gluteb free muffins and iced mocha. I loved that the mocha coffee wasnt made with a mix but with fresh cocoa powder so you can pick the amount of sweentness you want. You can pick the aparatus that you want used to make your coffee. It is definitely a really cute spot. Cute for a coffee date if you want somewhere cute and cozy. But its also good on the good which is what we did. I will definitely be back. read more

Friendly service and tasty selection! I came here on the opening day, and I am so glad I discovered this place. The environment is clean and very welcoming, with lots of seating options. The man that works there is very friendly, and the menu has an exciting variety of different drinks and Colombian snacks. UPDATE: I received a personal message from a relative of the employee. They said I lied about the time the store opens. They said the employee opened the store early at 7:32a even though they don't open until 8am. This is not true. Yelp and Google both say they open at 7:30a on weekdays which is in when I visited. At this point I would mark this place "AVOID", because instead of receiving a response from the owner I get a response from a relative. My first Colombian coffee shop visit. It's in a good location and because of that I saw it as I passed by several times going from Marietta to Kennesaw. I periodically have coffee with a friend and asked if they would be interested in trying out this place. They open later than most other coffee shops (7:30a) so we decided to be there right when they opened. When we arrived at 7:32 the door was locked and an employee opened the door and told us the machine was still being calibrated and it would be 10-15 min before it was working. (This should not happen, as they should ensure they arrive in plenty of time to have the machine running by the time they open.) We were planning on sitting around chatting anyway so we were fine with it. After about 10 min the employee said we could go ahead and purchase our drinks. Note: there was 1 employee only this day. Not sure if this is normal, but even though I wanted something to eat I didn't order because I didn't want to bother him with more stuff... I noticed he finished the drink of the guy who ordered after us and the. he began to work on our drinks. It took several minutes for them to make 1 drink and then 3-5 minutes for the next one. We didn't get our drinks for almost 30 min after arriving. Furthermore, we chose a really bad spot to sit, because the music they turned on was playing loudly right next to us and we were the only ones there. We were there 1.5 hours and only 4 people visited (including us). Also, even the last customer who came in had to wait an unusual amount of time to get their drink. No one was pleased and I fear that if this service continues they will be out of business soon. I hope they improve. As far as the drink it was "ok". I could have gotten that quality and taste at most coffee shops. For now I will stick with Daily Grind but hope Cof& improves and I can try it again with a better experience. read more
